Enjoy our private guest cottage in the Mill Valley hills, offering beautiful valley views and a convenient location. Just minutes from downtown Mill Valley, Muir Woods, scenic hiking trails, beaches, and a short drive to San Francisco. Perfect for those looking to explore the vibrant local area.
The space
This light and bright 800 SQF cozy cottage offers valley and garden views from nearly every room. Situated at the top of a multi-acre garden property, the guest cottage is ideal for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of the surroundings.
The living area features a pullout couch and a ROKU TV for your entertainment.
500 Mbps high-speed internet for heavy usage and multiple devices.
French screened doors open to a spacious deck, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and the outdoors.
A small interior dining setup inside provides a charming space for indoor meals, with options to expand seating if needed.
The deck features amazing views and is perfect for alfresco dining, featuring a handcrafted farm table with benches, cushioned chairs, and a sun umbrella.
Enjoy your meals surrounded by nature, or simply relax in the extra patio chairs under the sun umbrella.
Inviting and comfortable bedrooms, each featuring queen beds with goose down duvets and pillows. One bed is firmer than the other and has a 3-inch memory foam topper.
One person galley kitchen is well stocked with microwave, Ninja blender, toaster, 2 coffee makers 1 traditional style and the other Krups, electric kettle, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric stove, dishes, serving dishes, placemats, pots/pans/utensils, some condiments and spices, oil/vinegar, teas, and more.
*Interior desk/designated work area for one.
* HE washer and dryer in laundry room.
Lovely back terrace garden area with two rustic farm chairs. Two boogie boards and four beach chairs are available for you to use.
Guest access
This stand alone private cottage is available for you to use.
The lower area of the property is private.
Please leave your pets at home. Only ADA trained Service Animals are welcome.

About the Space
Fully rebuilt in 2018, this thoughtfully updated cottage features energy-efficient radiant floor heating — a cozy and eco-friendly alternative to traditional systems. For warmer days, the living room is equipped with air conditioning, and additional fans or space heaters are available to ensure your comfort year-round.
Based on California building code, we are required to have a humidity sensor in the bathroom. The bathroom fan is controlled by a humidity sensor, so it automatically turns on whenever the moisture level goes above 50%. It’s designed to run on its own and can’t be manually turned off.
The Property
Set on a peaceful, multi-acre property, the cottage shares the land with a beekeeping apiary located on the lower acreage. From time to time, you may see gardeners working around the grounds.
The host lives in a separate home on the property and is nearby if you need anything during your stay.
Need more space? Ask about The Bunkhouse —our additional listing located on the lower level of the property with lovely views. It can be booked along with The Cottage (based on availability) and comfortably sleeps up to 8 more guests, making it ideal for larger groups or families traveling together
ORGANIC
We are proud to maintain an organic property and do not use harmful pesticides, either inside or outside. This helps protect the surrounding environment and contributes to a healthier stay for our guests.

A friendly reminder—The Cottage is set up to accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.
** No parties, gatherings, or unregistered guests.
Children over the age of one are considered guests.
Please enjoy the cottage and deck, but remain within your designated area. Other folks live on the property, and we kindly ask that you respect their privacy.
No smoking or vaping within 250 feet of the property.
No open flames or burning of any kind.
No glitter or stickers, please.
No sand inside the Cottage, please. There’s an outdoor hose available for post-beach rinse-offs.
Please be aware that a sandy interior will result in additional cleaning fees.
No nudity in shared outdoor spaces/deck.
The host is not responsible for power or internet outages.
* Audio and video surveillance is in use at the front door.
Parking & Access
Street parking is typically available and convenient, with two reserved spots in front of the cottage. Occasionally, members of the public may overlook the signage — if that happens, no worries. Additional parking is always available down the gravel drive near the lower-level barn.
You’re welcome to temporarily park directly in front of the cottage gate to unload, especially if arriving late or if the designated spots are taken. We just ask that vehicles not remain there for the duration of your stay. With multiple parking options, you’ll always find a spot with ease.
