Cute Cottage on Lake Freeman, Private Beach, Boating Paradise, Relaxing Get-Away

You will absolutely love our recently renovated cottage in this private lake-side community. It has just about everything anyone would need for their special vacation get-away! The cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and the spacious living room has a full-size sofa sleeper for added sleeping accommodations, plus a club chair and ottoman for the best seating comfort, while you and your family or friends pass the hours in the evening watching TV or chatting about the great time you're having on vacation.

The cute kitchen has all the amenities, except a dishwasher. But don't forget about the added convenience of the new (2019) laundry stacked washer/dryer unit off the living area. There is a television in each bedroom and one in the living room, all with basic cable. Wireless internet is also available free of charge. There is a gas fireplace for chilly winter evenings if some extra warmth and relaxing ambiance is what you seek.

Wake up in the morning to the sound of peace and quiet, have coffee on your own private deck overlooking the pond, take a walk down the private lake access road, or on the adjacent country lanes that connect to other nearby private lake communities, take a cool dip in the community pool, fish off the private pier, take a refreshing swim in the lake, lounge on the private beach, take your boat out for a morning run or ski...the possibilities to start your day are endless. The afternoons follow the same wide-open possibilities and the evenings can be used to explore nearby restaurants, bars, movie theaters, the drive-in theater, or the local winery.

NOTE: All guests MUST be 25 (twenty-five) years of age or older, with the exception of minors accompanied by guests 25 (twenty-five) years of age or older. The cottage is also PET FREE and strictly NO SMOKING. We must enforce this policy so that all our guests can enjoy a smoke-free stay and to avoid possible health issues regarding pet and/or smoke sensitivity, such as triggering an asthma attack or allergic reaction. Please respect and obey this policy. If you or someone in your party is a smoker, consider another rental nearby, or we request that you smoke outside on the back deck and discard used butts in a separate trash bag that will be kept outside at all times during your stay. Do not smoke outside within 20 feet of the cottage to avoid any smoke entering the house through open windows or doors. If any smoke damage or the presence of smoking materials or odor will result in the forfeiture of the entire Damage Deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS!

*CANCELLATION POLICY*: If Renter cancels reservation, payments will be refunded as follows:
a. Reservations canceled 30 days, or more, before the rental period begins (Check-In Date) will receive a 100% refund of all monies paid to Homeowner, plus the Service Fee paid to VRBO/HomeAway (to be issued from VRBO/HomeAway).
b. Reservations canceled 14 days up to 29 days, before the rental period begins (Check-In Date) will receive a 50% refund of monies paid, (not including the VRBO Service Fee paid to VRBO/HomeAway.)
c. Reservations cancelled less than 14 (fourteen) days prior to the start of the stay (Check-in Date) will receive NO REFUND of any rental monies paid to either owner or the VRBO/HomeAway Service Fee. The Damage Deposit will be the ONLY payment refunded to the Renter in this case.
d. Late arrival, early departure, bad weather, mechanical failure of travel vehicle or boat, loss of internet or wifi, power, etc. does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
e. Renters are encouraged but not required to purchase optional Travel Insurance from VRBO/HomeAway.
f. Cancellations must be made by 12:00 PM (Central Standard Time) on the appropriate day.

(*All refunds will be made to Renter, less any credit card transaction fees charged to the property owner by the Credit Card Processor)

**Refunds made by owner to traveler do NOT include the service fee paid by traveler to VRBO/HomeAway unless cancelled 30 days or more from Check-In date. See terms and conditions regarding the payments and/or refunding of the VRBO/HomeAway Service Fee. Owner has NO CONTROL nor DOES NOT RECEIVE the monies paid toward the VRBO/HomeAway Service Fee fee.
