Grand Pines Motel Rooms

Grand Pines Motel includes ten motel rooms, located on Little Round Lake near Hayward, Wisconsin. These newly-remodeled motel rooms are the perfect lodging for everything from romantic getaways to outdoor escapes. Each of our comfortable, Northwood’s inspired rooms include two queen beds, a flat screen TV, a small refrigerator, microwave, a wet sink, a coffee maker, private deck off back, central air and whirlpool jets in the tub. Amenities

One bath with whirlpool jets, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV, coffee packs (one regular and one decaf, makes 4-cup pot), coffee filters, creamer, sugar/sweetener, all bed linens, one set of towels per person, sample size bath products, trash bags, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and private deck. We also have charcoal grills and fire pits for the motel guests to utilize. There is a boat launch onsite and we have extra piers should you bring your own boat. We also have pontoon boats available for rent, see information under Rentals.

Amazing motel! Might as well been a personal cabin. Absolutely loved it! We also had a dock for the boat which is a HUGE benefit. Highly recommended.

Communication was very slow for some reason. Almost chose a different place. The location is perfect for snowmobiling, right on the trail.The room had a strange foul odor and the heater had a mind of its own. Not the cleanest but tolerable.

The air conditioning was very nice to have on the humid days. The mini fridge, sink and counter area perfect for small meal prep. The rest of the time we spent outside! Very convenient that we are able to dock our boat during our stay. The deck behind the room is a nice bonus space. This was our second year in a row and we will be back again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented 3 motel rooms for a family vacation. The motel rooms need a little TLC. Lots of cob webs and dust hanging off the walls, pictures and mirrors. The coffee pot in our room had burnt coffee in the bottom of the pot. The patio furniture on the decks need to be cleaned off. Then I was appalled that if you didn’t strip the beds and place all dirty towels in a laundry bag also take out all the garbage you were fined for not doing so. I love the resort, it was the third time we have stayed there but it lacked in customer service and maintenance. We will not be returning.

3rd annual fishing trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year in a row staying at Grand Pines motel. It is the perfect place to rest our heads after a day out and about on the lake. We are able to make some quick meals and grill out as well as have a campfire with s’mores. The best part is that we can dock our small fishing boat during our stay. Definitely walk on over to Tamarak Farms for wine and the best pizza ever. You might even see Famous Dave there! Lastly the customer service provided by Grand Pines staff is top notch, we brought a issue to their attention and it was taken care of very quickly and we were compensated for the inconvenience.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: room was neat and clean. Fridge and microwave were a bonus. Very cabin-y feeling. Back deck was nice.Cons: having to strip the bed and bag own linens and towels or get charged $50. Jetted tub did not hold the water so I wasn't able to use it. The little bit of water that stayed in the bottom of the tub had black particles in it. Also took several minutes for the water to get warm. And very difficult to find! No sign on the main road. The biggest complaint is my husband pulled out the desk chair, the only chair in the room, and when he went to sit down the chair completely fell apart. It was a wood chair and it was like there was no glue on the joints.

Each queen bed only had two paper thin pillows making for very uncomfortable sleeping. I wish I knew so we could have brought pillows from home.

It was nice to have a good sized mini fridge & microwave in room. Beds were comfy and bathroom was very nice. Only drawback to this motel was the sound transmission from adjoining rooms. Voices and tv sounds were easily heard which became a problem when people next to us played their tv until midnight on our last night there.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This isn't the first time I have stayed here. This time, I remembered my hammer so that I could pound in nails that were sticking up on the deck as well as the stairs and docks by the water. Used the hammer way more than I should have had to but safety is more important. My counter had a coffee spill when I got there and I was able to wipe it up, but it concerns me that it wasn't cleaned before I arrived. I love the location close to the water and the ability to kayak here, otherwise would likely choose another place.

Snowmobile club trip to Hayward

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Osceola Valley Sno-goers plans a yearly trip for a weekend snowmobile ride. This year stay at Grand Pines Motel was one of the best weekends for our group. We were able to use the large downstairs area of room 40 for socialating and having meals together.The Location of motel was right on the snowmobile trail, and we had lots of trails to ride.
