When you arrive to the Villa, you go through a very quiet cul de sac and a short drive through it on your left side you will find a lovely green gate. You will be given a remote control for your comfort. Once you enter, you will see a long driveway with beautiful Cherry trees, rhododendrons and azaleas. Then, on your right you find the main entrance that invites you to a classic european foyer and a living-room with a view of the Puget Sound, Kingston and Whidbey Island. On your right side you'll see the hallway that bring you to your very private area and bedroom.

The Villa is just 4 minutes drive downhill to the beach and Ferry dock and all charming Edmonds restaurants and coffee shops.

The room is cozy and charming and very comfortable with walls painted in a soft blue and white, a mix of modern still elegant style. From the room you have a short hallway that bring you to the private full bathroom.

The room features a flat-screen TV a comfortable queen bed, a dresser, lamps and has a view of the front garden that has wonderful bushes and trees. The house have a living-room and a reading room for your convenience. Views of the sea, mountains or lake are featured in and, a fantastic deck to relax and enjoy a cocktail in the evening.

There is a shared kitchen at the property with all imaginable tools to be a great chef.

Seattle is 14 miles from Villa Rivarola, and Port Townsend is 28 miles away. The nearest airport is Sea-Tac Airport, 25 miles from Villa Rivarola.

This property is also rated for the best value in Edmonds! Guests are getting more for their money when compared to other properties in this city.

I cannot praise this stay or the hosts more, this is a rare jewel to be found on VRBO! Pedro was so communicative and accommodating it was almost to a fault. I believe he texted us three times for a one night stay asking if we needed anything, and again asked us whenever we saw him in person. The home has a locked front gate to the property and I felt very safe there. The accommodations were beautifully designed with every aesthetic touch perfect to feel like you were staying in a fancy hotel rather than a private residence! There was a designated parking spot, a full kitchen available for use, and the bed was very comfortable. I brought my 84 year old grandmother and Pedro set up a separate cot immediately upon request so I could respect my elder in giving her the whole guest bed. There were only two small steps into the home (1 onto the front porch and one to get inside from there) so that my grandmother did not have difficulty accessing the property. Pedro is a great person and wonderful to talk to, and he plans on donating the property to St. Jude in his will. A property in Seattle is no small gift, so the generosity speaks for itself! I only met his wife briefly, who was just as beautiful and a sweet lovely person. I cannot recommend this property enough, not just for the accommodations but for the hosts as well. It is only cheaper than other nearby properties because the hosts are benevolent people who do not need more, so they pass it forward. A must stay!

The residence is beautiful! Close to downtown Edmonds, Pedro was an exceptional host! Easy access to any of the places we wanted to go. We will certainly try to stay at "The Villa" next time we are in Edmonds!

Very kind hosts and beautiful location! We were under the impression that the property would be unoccupied except for guests- the property is actually renting a bedroom within the home. Great for some persons traveling, but not something I am comfortable with. If this works for you, 5 stars! If not, I'd recommend checking elsewhere No problems otherwise! Pedro and Sophie were both very nice, though we didn't see much of Sophie. They have a nice large yard with many fruit trees, and host gave us apples from their tree when we left.The bdrm was pleasant, as was the bathroom, but the description implied that we would have our own bedroom and bathroom separate from the rest of the house. What it turned out to be was a bedroom, with the bathroom next door, and the hosts' bed/bath beyond that. Bed was comfortable and room and bathroom were clean.

This beautiful house with large, private yard is located close to downtown Edmonds. The ā€˜million-dollarā€™ view off the deck is spectacular, especially at sunset with oneā€™s spouse and light libations! We found the bedroom to be very comfortable and quiet. Our on-site hosts, Pedro and Sophie, were welcoming and helped us to settle in quickly.

Quiet neighborhood near Seattle & beach

In town for my BFs card game tournament, this was the perfect location for me to hang back and do homework. We had a private room and bathroom, and shared the kitchen area with the home owners. Nice cozy room, and lots of parking in their large driveway

Short and Sweet Stay

Great property, location and pricing. Best ever bed too! Got our well deserved sleep. Only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area and conversation. Only hiccup was communication regarding check in process. Owner did reply when I messaged about late check-in and inquiring about the property. But I did not receive any communication regarding check in process (regarding gate access entering and exiting). I had stayed at other properties and most would email instructions. I checked the chat and my email and canā€™t find anythingā€¦ Other than that, Pedro was very accommodating, welcoming and had a great conversation with my partner even though I had to call to get access and it was a little late. Would definitely book again when we pass through.

Beautiful view. Gracious hosts.

The property was amazing! Beautiful view of Puget Sound. We had a bedroom on the upper level and basically the entire upstairs to ourselves. The house is eclectically and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood is lovely and very quiet. On Saturday we went to downtown Edmonds for the arts and farmerā€™s market. We found some great lavender and flower bouquets. Evenings on the deck were perfect for wine and photos. Pedro and Sophia were so gracious we didnā€™t want to leave! I highly recommend their property.
