Tortilla Flats is located on the Yellowstone River, in the town of Gardiner. The north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It is a newly constructed, air conditioned, modern 1200 sq ft vacation rental. Located on a second story. Large bed room with king size bed. Attached balcony, overlooking the river. One bathroom with double vanity, shower/jacuzzi tub. Open kitchen/living room. The kitchen has new appliances. Side by side refrigerator with water/ice dispenser, dish washer, double sink with garbage disposal, microwave oven over gas range, toaster, coffee maker, all utensils, pots, pans, ect. Dinning table. Living room with couch and love seat, 52' flat screen tv with premium cable channels. . 2 twin beds in alcove.Large out door patio/deck off of livingroom. Dinning table, gas BBQ grill, seating. We are centrally located in Gardiner, on a dead end street, behind the school with play ground Walking distance to all amenities. Restaurants, bars, grocery store, shops and the park. Great views of the park and river from our decks. Fall asleep to the sound of the river.

We enjoyed our stay at Tortilla Flats. Marie was incredibly friendly and helpful and even introduced herself upon our arrival to ensure everything was good and make recommendations on local places to eat, etc. She also made us a cinnamon crumb coffee cake which my Husband said was the best he's ever had. The condo was very comfortable and spacious. Sadly, we didn't have the best weather to sit on the multiple decks, but the inside was perfect on the chillier nights. The bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of room for us. Proximity to the park entrance was also a huge plus (it's literally a couple minutes to the entrance via car). The only suggestion I'd make is either adding a washer and dryer or clarifying the laundry mention in the listing. It was a little misleading and we needed to go to the local laundry mat to do our wash. Marie offered to do it for us, which was very nice, but we didn't want to impose. Other than that, we loved our stay and would stay here again and recommend to all our friends!

The place was very clean, and the location was wonderful right next to the the river and just minutes from Yellowstone National Park. Marie even left a wonderful coffee cake for us to enjoy during our stay. We would stay here again.

The north entrance to the park was 2 1/2 blocks down the road. It was a very nice location. The flat was very clean. The host were very, very nice and accommodating.

We feel very fortunate to have been guests at Tortilla Flats! Marie and Jim are wonderfully gracious hosts, and they take much pride in providing a beautiful and exceptionally clean place for their guests to enjoy. When we arrived Marie brought over her amazing homemade coffee cake, Wow, it was so delicious, what a special treat! She made us feel so welcome. Tortilla Flats had everything our family of 4 adults would need including a fully stocked kitchen with pottery plates and cups, spacious living area, large bathroom with plenty of soft and fluffy towels, a large tv with DVD’s, an entertainment area stocked with games and books, a writing desk area, and so many thoughtful extras throughout. We visited YNP for five full days and enjoyed every moment and it was very convenient to be located so close to the entrance of YNP and it was wonderful to come back to such a comfortable home. As a bonus, we also loved seeing the elk roam through Gardiner! Thank you Marie and Jim for making our trip extra special!

We enjoyed being close to NE YS entrance. Quiet property. We appreciated use of gas grill on front deck and coffee pot and coffee provided. Also gas stovetop! Hosts were friendly and eager to please.

This was the absolute perfect place to stay! It is right in town & just minutes to the Yellowstone entrance. I was surprised it was so quiet, you can hear the river flowing, the wind blowing through the mountains and all of the birds chirping. We were even greeted by a few bunnies and a pine marten during our stay. The coffee cake was delicious and Marie is so kind and friendly. This truly felt like a home away from home to us and if we ever get the opportunity I would love to stay again.

Great Place in Gardiner

I was traveling with my three teenage grandchildren, and I booked tortilla flats in Gardner. The accommodations were great, they were clean. They were roomy. The apartment was well equipped. Marie left us a wonderful coffee cake. I don’t think you could’ve gotten better accommodations anywhere. The apartment was very well located and at night my grandchildren could walk into the town if they wish. I was under the misconception that there was laundry on site, but when I questioned the owner, he offered to do a load of wash for us. I don’t think you could ask more of anyone. The owners were very accommodating, and if I were ever to pass through Gardiner again, I would certainly choose to stay there.

Excellent base for north Yellowstone

The property in Gardiner is really close to the North Entrance and with some planning we were able to access the whole of Yellowstone. Gardiner has all you need and lots of activities. The host was very helpful and welcoming. The property has everything you need including those little “extras” to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our only suggestion would be some binoculars to borrow for those coming from overseas, but this is a very small point. It’s a great place and we really enjoyed our stay.

What a great stay we had at Tortilla Flats! The property was spotless. It had everything you could possibly need to make your stay feel like home. The deck facing the Yellowstone River provided us with a relaxing retreat after a long day of driving in Yellowstone. Host Marie was absolutely the best. She even baked us a coffee cake that was still warm upon our arrival. The place and host are fantastic. I would highly recommend staying with Marie if you are looking for a place in Gardiner!

Our stay was great, Marie was very friendly and accommodating, we really loved the coffee cake upon arrival! Her place would be 5 stars if you didn’t have to climb stairs but we knew that ahead of time.

Felt like home away from home

Would have stayed for a month because everything was just what we needed. Great location. Clean, well-equipped, quiet and a good space with front deck with grill. Back deck looking over the Yellowstone River. Heard coyotes at night and bull elk bugling during the day. Would recommend and would stay again.

Wonderful property and host

All Around Great Place to Stay!

clean apartment in a nice location

We stayed at Tortilla Flats for 4 days and had a great time. Marie was a great host, welcoming us in person and a delicious brown sugar cake upon our arrival. The apartment is located in Gardiner, right at the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The place was clean; kitchen was fully equipped for basic cooking and meal preparations. Convenient walking distance to shops, restaurants, and tour companies. In addition to exploring different areas of Yellowstone, we did water rafting on Yellowstone River and went ziplining during our stay.

And your front views are looking at Electric Peak, located in the park. Walking distance to restaurants/bars, grocery store, shopping and park

Newly constructed. Spectacular views of Yellowstone Park and Yellowstone river, from large front and back decks. Great location. Easy access to park or walking and exploring the town of Gardiner. When in season have a large garden that can be shared for fresh vegetables and herbs.
