The Cottage is a private guest house nestled behind the main house, a classic 1960's brick ranch house, that sits on a large one-acre lot in west Nashville. You can live like a Nashville native here. It is a comfy, make-yourself-at-home kind of place in a quiet, safe, neighborhood with beautiful trees. Hardwood floors though out feel good under your feet and ceiling fans provide that fresh air feeling.

You have private, covered parking and easy access to downtown by car, Uber, or bus. It's close to I-40 and Charlotte Pike but no traffic noise. You can walk to Nashville West shopping center, multiple restaurants, and bus stop. The nearby Charlotte Pike is loaded with a variety of American and ethnic restaurants and has earned a reputation as a culinary hot spot by the foodies in town.

The eat-in kitchen is equipped with all the cooking basics. The only equipment we don't have yet is a dishwasher but we're working on that. We stock a few snacks for your arrival and there is a nearby Publix for easy grocery shopping.

The large bedroom has your choice of a King size bed or two twin beds. There's an overhead fan and lots of space to spread out your things, including ample plug-ins for charging your devices. The living room offers comfy seating, cable TV, a DVD/BluRay player, high speed wifi, and a corner desk with a beautiful picture window view of the park-like back yard. The large bathroom has marble floors and ample space for your morning rituals.

We use green practices where possible, including recycling, ecofriendly household products, and hypoallergenic bedding.

The room rate is the total price and includes all taxes and cleaning fees added on. We do request no pets, please, in consideration of those with allergies and other issues.

Peaceful cottage

Nice, clean, peaceful and quiet place to stay while in town for our daughterā€™s wedding. Close to restaurants, the church, downtown, and the Parthenon which was also the wedding venue. Wonderful to come back to the cottage at the dayā€™s end to unwind after the whirlwind of wedding activities!

Perfect location in a beautiful neighborhood!

Had a wonderful stay. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the proximity to downtown and Belle Mead was perfect. Gwen was a terrific host and her tips for parking in downtown saved us a lot of $$$. Would definitely stay here again, and hope to return sometime soon!

AWESOME PLACE TO STAY

This cottage was perfect for my wife and I. It was clean and cozy and had everything you need. We enjoyed the quiet once we returned after a night on Broadway. We used Uber to get where we wanted to go and it was around $15 during the afternoon and $25 at night. We could have drove ourselves but it was well worth the Uber fee to not have to deal with everything going on downtown. Highly recommend this cottage!! Thank you Gwen!!

What a beautiful cottage!

This was by far my best ever lodging experience in Nashville! The amenities were unmatched - she had everything we could have ever needed and more! From an iron and ironing board, to a boombox with CDs, and the most gorgeous backyard view! Super easy to find, great location, and easy check in. Thank you so much!

Very Nice Stay

This property is a cottage located behind the many house on over 1 acre. You have a carport to pull into directly adjacent to the front door. Eat in fully stocked kitchen with living room with large picture window that faces the back of the property. Also French doors that open to a small porch. Largo bedroom and bathroom with high end linens and towels. Overall womderfall stay.

Perfect cottage for a couple

Gwen met is at check in. Cottage was exactly as described in her listing. The location was perfect. 15 minutes from downtown and about 40 minutes from the Opry house. Gwen communicates very well by text and was always available for any need that we had. The next time we come to Nashville, we will stay here.

Absolutely lovely!

The cottage is behind a main residence in a beautiful neighborhood, close to all conveniences. Gwen was a wonderful hostess, who offered lots of amenities and nice touches. What a great place!

This little cottage is just perfect. The location is great. It was so nice to be close to everything and the neighborhood was so nice and quiet. Everything was very clean and easy to keep that way. We had everything we needed to make our stay more than comfortable and lots of info.on what to do and where to go. The carport to park under was great since it rained while we were coming and going. Thank you Gwen for being so easy to work with and offering your wonderful cottage. Would love to come back some day!

I was in the West Nashville area for three days of training and wanted a nice, quiet place to stay. The property and the property manager, Gwen, were great. Everything was just as described. The property was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was a perfect place to stay and rejuvenate before another dayā€™s training. Gwen communicated everything I needed to know promptly and clearly. I will definitely chose this property again if I need to stay in the West Nashville area.

Quiet Cottage

We stayed in West Nashville for a month, visiting our family who lives nearby. Owner Gwen, generously provided whatever we needed including our privacy. This apartment is so comfortable that you could easily stay a month or longer. The park-like view looks out over a beautiful back yard with lots of trees. Yet you are close to shopping and have easy access to downtown. We highly recommend this place for short or long term renting.

Exceeded expectations

This was my first time using any type of Vrbo/airbnd so i was a little nervous. I couldn't be more pleased with our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful with just a short drive to all the attractions we planned to see. Gwen's attention to detail was perfect! Everything was labeled with clear directions and she thought of all the tiny things you may forget. I hope I can get back to the area soon and will definitely be booking the cottage again!

A perfect Nashville retreat!

Gwen has made a place where y'all will feel right at home! It starts with a wonderful location, and she also has anticipated everything you will need to be comfortable, for a few nights or a few weeks. Nashville Nice

Quiet. Convenient. Cozy. This property was wonderfully perfect for my two-weeks in Nashville. The cottage behind the main house provided all I was looking for in a place to stay, and, to be clear, the space is not fancy or luxurious ā€” but I was not looking for fancy or luxurious. Gwen was a wonderful host, going above the expected. The view out the picture window was wonderful and the covered parking was a welcomed feature on rainy days. I hope to stay again when traveling to Nashville.
