Enjoy the sunrise and all day sun from this newly renovated 1840 sq. ft. home located directly on Georgian Bay with year round road access and only three miles from Hwy 69 at Pointe au Baril Station, ON.

Full amenities include:
Open concept design has kitchen with dishwasher, microwave. large bottom mount refrigerator and smooth top stove. Dining room provides china cabinet with large dining table and chairs. Living room has gorgeous large stone fireplace with gas insert.
Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Pull out couch in sun room.
Beautiful sun room with gas fireplace, large table and chairs, television and BBQ just outside the door.

Potable drinking water sourced from a drilled well.
Satellite, hi def TV, blue ray DVD.
Two separate large decks with tables and chairs.
Large lawn area for sitting, lounging, bocci ball, etc.
Bonfire pit by shore.
The rental price includes one docking slip, all utilities and heating, satellite television.

Winter activities include snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating at the community centre, ice fishing.
The snowmobile trails are a short two miles away or you can sled on the bay.

Services include general maintenance, garbage pick up, grass cutting.

Personal note:
The owner has lived and worked in the area for many years and looks forward to assisting you with your holiday plans if required.

Family Retreat

This was the perfect location for my family to enjoy the Georgian Bay. The house was in great condition with everything you would need for a weeks stay. Mark and Mike were extremely accommodating, helpful and just generally great people. Would definitely recommend folks stay here.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful spot! There was plenty of room for our extended family of five adults and one child. Mike was a great host, super communicative and helpful. The cottage was very well stocked with everything we needed. There are some boat slips on the property that water-access cottagers use throughout the week, but they were all respectful and this had no negative impact on our experience at all. Would go back for sure!

Beautiful location, perfect house

Mike’s rental was perfectly situated on an incredible body of water. We could swim and paddle every single day. The house itself was so comfy and clean. Mike and Mark were super responsive to all of our requests. We even got a tour of the Bay! We look forward to returning in the future.

RETURN TO PARADISE

Being in Pointe au Baril again was very special to us. Being able to stay at your cottage was wonderful. Extremely clean and accommodating and the fish were biting big time. Mark and Mike did everything possible to make our stay a memorable experience. The layout of the cottage made it so easy to enjoy the sun when you wanted it and the shade when needed. Quiet, long evenings and starry nights of solitude.

Fantastic cottage

Loved our stay here- beautiful rocky shore and great view. Enjoyed swimming and canoeing. Our favourite thing was all the different outdoor places to enjoy to eat a meal, read a book, play lawn games, sunbathe or enjoy a bonfire. Also the big sunroom was a great place for indoor meals. Mark was a very good communicator and was very helpful. Would love to return!

Great Vacation

We had a great stay, weather wasn’t the greatest but we had a good time. Cottage was clean and well kept. Fishing was great, we had a nice fish fry! Swimming area is nice with both shallow and deeper areas. The dogs had a great time. All in all a good week minus the weather. The only two negatives I would say were the Internet being spotty. I understand limited availability in the area but when you pay a fairly high extra charge you expect it to work. Second was the in and out of people who have island cottages who keep their boats docked there. Aside from that great week, Mark was a great host quick to respond to any questions we had. I would stay here again.

This is a delightful property with with it’s variety of places to sit and enjoy the great views. The cottage is spacious and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautiful part of the province. We look forward to a return visit.

Great views

Wonderful time here, perfect for the boat watcher. Or someone with a book. Large sunroom with huge table. Great for dinners of 8. Or for games of wizard, dominos, and Yahtzee. Very well stocked kitchen with fantastic bbq for preparing meals.

Perfect cottage in great location!

The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything needed for a great stay. There was plenty of room for 6 adults plus kids to spread out - both inside and on the various outdoor spaces. We loved the sunroom for family meals and it is away from bedrooms so allowed us to enjoy fun (and sometimes loud) board games without disturbing sleeping children! Great decks to relax outside and enjoy the lovely views! Mike and Mark responded quickly to any correspondence. Highly recommend and we would love to go back!

Most wonderful cottage

We had a fantastic time at Pointe Au Baril - the house was like a home, comfortable and well kitted out- we loved staying here, complimentary paddle board and kayak, campfires on the rock our front, drinks overlooking the sunset on the lake- it’s a piece of heaven! Mark was awesome to deal with too- we will be back! Many thanks x

Wonderful Family Vacation

Mikes property is absolutely beautiful. Very versatile place with lots of spots to enjoy the outdoors. Our days were spent swimming off the cottage access only swimming dock, preparing and enjoying meals on the back deck and private side yard and of course fishing! We did take advantage of the pontoon rental through Mike and would highly recommend. We were a party of 6 adults and one dog (huge bonus that to cottage is pet friendly) so the added space for out on the water was key. The cottage is located next to a set of boat slips owned by local cottagers so there was a bit of traffic with people coming and going, however, everyone was very respectful of our stay so no issues there. Place is as advertised in the photos. No air conditioning (as advertised) so we brought some fans and left the windows open at night - true cottage living! Mike was very quick to respond to and if our inquiries and very helpful in regards to local amenities. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Mike. We can’t wait to be back!

Fantastic Stay

The cottage had all the comforts of home and more. Wish we had WIFI. Other than that the fishing was great and very easy to launch your boat. The staff were very attentive and we definitely will be back. Jim & Daisy Hodgson Cambridge

Fantastic

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.
