WELCOME to Cub Life Cabin – A Cozy, Spacious Mountain Retreat in Arnold, CA

Escape to the serene beauty of the Sierra Nevada at Cub Life Cabin, our charming mountain retreat located in the exclusive Blue Lake Springs (BLS) neighborhood of Arnold, CA. Surrounded by nature with stunning views from both inside and out, our home is the perfect getaway for families, friends' retreats, or a peaceful weekend in the mountains.

ABOUT THE SPACE
Our cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin offers a fully renovated open-concept kitchen and living area, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. With a game room, two outdoor patios, a firepit, large dining tables, and a fully stocked kitchen, it’s the ideal place to make lasting memories with loved ones.

Bedroom 1:
1 Queen Bed
2 Nightstands with hanging lamps and charging stations
A desk and chair for a workspace or beauty station
Storage includes a dresser with shelves and a wardrobe closet
Ceiling fan, curtains, and a locking sliding door for comfort and privacy
Bedroom 2:

2 Bunk Beds (3 Twin-sized beds, 1 Full-sized bed)
Game room and kid-friendly play area for hours of entertainment
Pool table that converts to a ping pong table

Attached bathroom with dressing area/closet for added storage

Bedroom 3:

Bathroom 1: Located next to Bedroom 3, includes a shower with a built-in seat and towel warmer

Bathroom 2: Attached to Bedroom 2 with a newly updated shower and provided beauty tools (hair dryer, curling iron, hair straightener)


Kitchen & Living Room: Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need: pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, cooking utensils, and more
Appliances include a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, rice cooker, and blender
Kids' plates, cups, and cutlery available in the kitchen island drawer

Living Room: Spacious with a TV equipped with streaming services and ample seating for relaxation

Game Room: Perfect for all ages with a variety of board games, card games, and a dedicated play area for kids

Front Outdoor Deck: Features a firepit for cozy evenings under the stars
Note: The front deck is my favorite for star gazing. On a clear night, the view is incredible.

Back Outdoor Deck: Balcony is slightly elevated with access to the backyard from the left side. It has a large-capacity dining table for outdoor meals.

Backyard: Chair swing located just past the patio (not suited for small children) and a great place to explore

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the entire home, including the outdoor patios, firepit, and game room. There are some personal locked spaces, but these are clearly marked.

HOA Access (Blue Lake Springs HOA):
Guests can also enjoy activities and festivities including the pool, gym, restaurant, lake, and beach at Blue Lake Springs HOA. Fees are required and may change. Call or email for latest information regarding hours, services available, and fees. The HOA will post hours for their facilities including: Restaurant, pool (usually during the summer), and gym. We still recommend calling in case there are changes.

Things to Note:
Winter Weather: Snow chains are required during the winter season, especially for accessing the steep driveway. Plowing service is provided after 4+ inches of snow, but additional snow accumulation may occur before your arrival.

Summer weather: as the weather warms up we have a portable AC unit for added comfort. Each room is equipped with fans including box fans that can be placed around the home.

Security: We have 24/7 exterior video/audio security cameras focused on areas of entry for your safety.

Extra Guests: Only confirmed guests are allowed on the property. Any additional guests must be approved by the owner and subject to extra fees.

We do not allow trailers, rv’s, and tents.

Cleaning: The cleaning fee covers standard turnover cleaning. Additional fees may apply for excessive mess.

Septic System: Please only flush toilet paper and natural waste.

Shoes: Please remove shoes when walking on rugs or carpet. A shoe rack is provided by the back patio door.

Cell Reception: Cell service can be spotty, so please download directions ahead of time. High-speed internet is available.

Wildlife: Arnold is home to bears, mountain lions, and other critters. Please use the bear box for trash and remove food from your vehicle. We are not liable for any wildlife encounters.

Power Outages: Extreme weather may cause power outages. Lanterns and flashlights are provided for your convenience. Please return them to their original location if used.

Refunds: We have a firm cancellation policy, and refunds are not provided for weather conditions, power or internet outages, and/or other acts of nature. We recommend travel insurance.
