Perfect home base for Rome

Giovanna was an excellent and easily reached host for this beautiful and quiet flat 15min walk from the Ottaviano metro stop and the Vatican. A little slice of peace for our family during an otherwise bustling visit to Rome. Highly recommend for families.

Giovanna was a very responsive host. My real disappointment was that the beautiful garden/patio seem on the web site is not accessible for her apartment. Be sure to see Paola and Step at the Versatile coffee shop across the street! They are so much fun!! And the baked goods are fresh every day!

A lovely host, very responsive and helpful. The apartment is in a great location, easy access to public transportation. We had basics we needed (but no coffee machine which was surprising for Italy). The bedrooms looked a bit different from the photos in terms of the furniture and were a bit dark, and the carpet on the floor gives me that extra dark feel but overall, we enjoyed our stay (we really only came on to sleep as we were out all day).

Comfortable apartment in a charming neighborhood

We loved our stay at this great apartment. Everything was just as described, and Giovanna was an excellent host. We enjoyed many of the restaurants in the neighborhood, especially the Versatile cafe across street. We also appreciated the proximity to the bus stop and the fact that we were within walking distance of the Vatican. Highly recommend!

Amazing Vatican Stay!

Giovanna was great, really responsive to all our questions. Super nice quiet residential neighborhood. Cafe and grocery at the corner. All bedrooms closed off completely with well insulated doors for our late sleepers. 5 people stayed and we'd all love to stay there again.

Perfect location near local transportation

This property is located ten minute walk to vatican or short bus ride. 5 min walk to the subway that gets you to most major attractions of Rome. The host set up our pickup from the airport and met us at the check-in. Would definitely book this apartment again.

A Nice Place to Stay

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and was very attentive to our needs. Itā€™s a bit off the beaten path, which is both good and bad, but there is a supermarket and some good places to eat in easy walking distance. The subway was a bit of a walk and we needed to use Ubers (linked to ITTaxi) to get around because of the heat, but the apartment was a great place to come back to and call ā€œhomeā€ while we were in Rome.

A Home Away from Home

Our stay at this property was fantastic! Giovanna is an excellent and caring host! Her warm welcome and kindness were key features for us. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood and provides everything you might need. There is a nice supermarket nearby, as well as several restaurants. The walk to the Vatican is pleasant and very convenient. The apartment offers all the amenities you need for a wonderful and relaxing stay. Home away from home.

The apartment was exactly what we expecting from the pictures posted. Air conditioning was definitely an asset as Rome was in the middle of +30ā€™s for our entire stay. Grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and pizzerias abound on every corner. Bus and train just around the corner. Walking distance to tourist attractions as well. Giovanna our host was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make our stay easier. Highly recommend!!

Modern apartment in great location!

This apartment was an excellent find for our trip to Rome this spring. Situated close to metro and delicious dining options, it is a nicely updated ground-floor two bedroom with all the amenities and conveniences youā€™d expect. The neighborhood is quiet and un-touristy, so thereā€™s a fair bit of quiet at night. We felt safe getting to and from the apartment from transit and dinner, and with the modern windows we hardly heard a thing of the outside world. Our host was Giovanna and she was kind and helpful at check in, and walked us through some of the best restaurants and areas to explore around the apartment. Would gladly come back next time weā€™re in Rome!

very clean nice apartment with fantastic staff

this apartment is in a great location to visit St. peters and the Vatican. the bus stop is in walking distance and the metro was just a few bus stops away ( we walked to it a few times)to visit all the other tourist spots. my husband, 4 year old daughter, and parents were very comfortable in the apartment. the bathroom shower was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. the power in the house went out once but it was a very easy fix and we were told it could happen. we planned to make several trips to Vatican city throughout the trip so this apartment was perfect for that. we also arranged car service pick up/ drop off from the airport and it was great as well.

I have been owning this apartment for 20 years and my Mummy leaves in the same building.
It is a neighbor where the medium-high and high classes leave, with lots of nice 1900ā€™ buildings.
The apartment has been completely renovated just a few years ago and everybody says the new modern look it is a real WOW!!! thanks to my brotherā€™s passion for architecture and design..
I love having windows on a garden (garden is private, therefore not accessible to guests).
