Our mountain getaway retreat sits atop the peak of Lakewoods Village on a spacious acre with open lots on both sides. It provides everything couples and families need for the ideal rejuvenating getaway. Beautiful home with lots of privacy. While fire restrictions in the area prevented use of the fire pit, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The home is in a beautiful setting in the woods. Many hiking trails close by with Pacific Crest a mile down the main road. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen very well stocked. Need to know- tv is dvd only but there is an amazing selection at the house!

Very great place! Wonderfully secluded and easy to follow instructions to place. It was dark when we arrived and the road did have critters- we were told this might be the case and I soo appreciate that!

Excellent location...a short 15 min drive to Lake Of The Woods...well supplied home...comfortable beds...a perfect getaway for friends...we enjoyed the deck and views...looking forward to a return stay in the future.

Nice house in the forest

We had a great time in this house in the forest. It was very clean and it has everything you may need. We just missed a table for six so we could eat together as a whole family.

That is a good point. The table is large enough to seat six comfortably. I'm going to buy two more high back chairs for a total of six. Thanks for the suggestion.

What a beautiful home in a fantastic setting! The home was wonderful, and beautifully maintained. The home sits in an open forest setting with nice views and plenty of quiet. We enjoyed mountain biking, fishing, and relaxing.

Gorgeous lodge like retreat

My whole family absolutely loved this house. It was spacious with traveling with 3 children. House was spotless and stocked with necessities. We traveled to both Crater Lake & Ashland for white water rafting from here. Perfect halfway spot. Secluded, quiet, amazing views. I hope we can visit here again!

Labor Day Weekend

We loved our weekend at Dennis's house at Lake of the Woods. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed in the master was amazing, I haven't slept as well as I did here in a long time. The weather wasn't as we hoped for to spend the time at the lake but we were just fine because this Lake House was perfect and we will definitely be back.

Girls weekend

The home is beautiful and provided everything we needed to make our meals. We loved sitting on the deck with our wine and making memories. The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to have someone Hammer the nails in on the deck. I stepped on one barefoot and almost got hurt. Otherwise a beautiful home to get away.

Odd assumptions

No a/c, deck was rotten with nailheads sticking up. Had two adults and one 3 yr old and the neighbors called the owner who contacted us about “suspicious activity” and got accused of having a party because we had my father in law visit for 1hr. Strange accusations and it irritated us and made it feel as if we were being watched by the neighbors who happen to be the emergency contact for the cabin. They also continuously drove by in a rzr slow at the bottom of the driveway.

Sorry I completly overreacted. My Bad. I have already started fixing up deck.As you can see i have very good reviews and a book inside cabin with many lovely notes to us. That in no way justifies my over reaction. My apology again to you and your relatives.

Beautiful but Remote

Lovely cabin with everything except useable outdoor furniture. We had hoped to sit outside and have morning coffee or an evening glass of wine, but nothing to sit on. Very far to anything. Lake of the Woods but no lake access, not even if you drove over and walked in somehow. Peaceful, quiet. Very clean and well stocked w kitchen equipment, towels and such. Comfy beds. We enjoyed our stay but would not book that cabin again.

We have two wood chairs with a small table on the front deck with seat cushions inside the house if needed. There is also a swing with a cushion inside that seats two people on the front deck. there are also 2 very nice folding chairs in the closet downstairs to use on the front or back deck. I can't understand the comments on Lake of the Woods Resort. It is located 10 minutes from our cabin. There is a good restaurant, small grocery store entertainment and a Marina with rental boats, kayaks, etc

Peaceful place in the woods!

Lovely place to stay! We stayed there and drove a short ten minute drive to Lake of the Woods each day. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the home is well stocked with items needed for cooking. The home is not huge although the master suite upstairs is very spacious. Seating in the living area is limited for larger groups with only a couch and one chair. However the dining table seats six so that can provide extra seating. We really enjoyed the view of nature and towering pine trees through the front windows. Helpful hint: Shut the blinds before going to bed because the morning sun will quickly heat up the front room if you’re staying during the warmer months. Overall, recommend the place for a peaceful get a way.

Just book it! Seriously Amazing!!!

On our two-week trip around northern California and southern Oregon, this was hands down our favorite property. The location was amazing and the owners really thought of everything! The house itself was gorgeous - so full of light but surrounded by nature. (Woke up each morning with deer in the yard.) So many games for the family to play and tons of folders/binders with notes on things to do, hiking trails, etc. (Super closet to the Pacific Crest Trail - so, why not hike a bit of it!) Great location for exploring Crater Lake and Lava Beds. The host communication was fantastic and super helpful. (It's about 45 minutes from major cities with grocery stores - and they were good about suggesting where to stop to stock up. Really appreciated that.) Would seriously recommend this place to others and really want to come back for a longer stay!

Wer Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe mag, wird diese Unterkunft LIEBEN!

Die Unterkunft ist genau wie hier beschrieben. Alles war sauber, sehr geräumig und in einer sehr abgelegenen, ruhigen Lage. Die nächste Einkaufmöglichkeit ist tatsächlich 40 Minuten entfernt. Sehr hilfreich dazu Begrüßungsmail vom Gastgeber! Es hätte gerne etwas mehr Geschirr zu Verfügung stehen können, so mussten wir nach jeder Mahlzeit die Spülmaschine starten. Ansonsten waren wir traurig die tolle Feuerstelle und den Kamin wegen der akuten Waldbrandgefahr nicht nutzen zu können. Aber vielleicht beim nächsten Mal, denn hier möchten wir alle im Winter nochmal herkommen.

Comfortable, clean and cozy

The home was a perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed fishing at Lake of the Woods and only had a short drive to the rental. The kitchen was stocked with every dish and utensil I needed to cook for the 5 of us. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful location and home

We enjoyed our stay. There's hardly any reception so we got to disconnect from electronics and spend QT. I'd recommend taking some dvd's since there's no cable. There's dvds there too. Overall a wonderful weekend!!
