Inside, you’ll find a comfortable king bed, a seating area overlooking the water, and a drop-leaf dining table with two chairs. The kitchenette is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, French press, hot water kettle, toaster, and dishes - perfect for preparing light meals or a morning cup of coffee before heading out to explore. A wall-hung mini split provides both heating and air conditioning, keeping the space comfortable. The bathroom features tiled floors and a walk-in shower for a refreshing start or end to your day.

Step outside to soak up the coastal scenery. A side deck with chairs offers peaceful water views, while a picnic table sets the stage for al fresco dining. With parking for two cars and beautifully landscaped surroundings, Lindquist Cottage makes your stay effortless.

Shared stairs lead to 200 feet of shoreline, where you can swim, launch a kayak or paddleboard, or simply relax by the water’s edge. Bring your own gear or take advantage of local outfitters like Ducktrap Kayak and Maine Sport Outfitters, who deliver rentals right to the property. For those with a larger boat, Eastwind Boat Launch and nearby slips or moorings make access to the water easy.

Please note: Lindquist Cottage shares one acre, the stairs, the platform with Adirondack chairs, and shoreline with neighboring Seegar Camp. The two properties are connected by a manicured walkway and can be rented together for larger groups or separately for a more private retreat, called Long Cove Retreat.

The charming village of Thomaston is just 10 minutes away, while the Monhegan Ferry Terminal is a quick 5-minute drive - your gateway to one of Maine’s most iconic offshore islands. For lighthouse lovers, Marshall Point Lighthouse, made famous in Forrest Gump, is also just 5 minutes away. And if you’re looking for a bigger adventure, Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are about 2 hours to the north, perfect for a memorable day trip.
