Fjellsangin sits on Mount Tahoma Canyon Road East — the original wagon trail into Mount Rainier National Park, now a quiet, forested stretch that most visitors drive past without knowing it’s there. The Nisqually entrance is ten minutes east. Paradise is forty-five.
Ashford is a small mountain town with a handful of places worth knowing. Paradise Village, a short walk from the cabin, is a Ukrainian-owned restaurant and bakery making handmade pierogi, borscht, and honey cake. Wildberry Restaurant serves Himalayan mountain cuisine. Whittaker’s Bunkhouse has coffee and ice cream. BaseCamp Grill does casual food and live music on weekends.
For trails: Longmire Historic District is the closest, Myrtle Falls is a short hike from Paradise, and the wildflower meadows up top are worth the drive in July and August. In winter, the area goes quiet — snowshoeing, snow-draped forest, and very few other people.
The cabin has fast Wi-Fi. Once you’re here, you may not want it.
Guests have full private access to the cabin and all outdoor spaces, including the cedar-lined sauna, hot tub pavilion, wood-burning fire pit, furnished deck, and BBQ grill. Inside: a chef’s kitchen, in-unit washer and dryer, and coffee and tea bar.
Private on-site parking and a Level 2 EV charger are included.
