Booked as one home, you get both units and nobody else in the building. That is two full kitchens, two living rooms, two washer/dryers and three full bathrooms plus a half bath, so a group of fourteen is not queuing for anything. Families travelling together, wedding parties and reunions tend to use the main level as the shared space and the garden level as the quiet one.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Columbia Heights Metro (Green and Yellow lines) is about ten minutes on foot and runs to the National Mall and downtown with no changes. A full-size Giant and a Target sit at the station, with Salvadoran and Ethiopian kitchens alongside the newer restaurants on 11th and 14th Streets. Meridian Hill Park is ten minutes south and Rock Creek Park a short walk west.

WORTH KNOWING
Self check-in with a smart lock. There is no driveway or garage at the property. The block is permit zoned, so if you are driving, message us a few days ahead and we will send the steps to request a visitor parking permit. The garden level sits below street grade, so it stays cool in summer but is not a bright, sun-filled space.

Quiet Hours: To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and our neighbors, we kindly request that you keep noise levels to a minimum after 10:00 PM.
