GREAT hotel alternative for a fraction of the price, you've come to the PERFECT hale. Princeville Sands Studio has a great kitchen table, microwave, fridge, queen bed, water toys, outside lanai with couch and ottoman and beautiful new tile flooring. The pool, BBQ and grounds at Sandpiper are awesome for hanging around and getting some rest after a long day at any of the nearby beaches. You can walk down to Sealodge (12 mins) or Anini (about 17 mins) from this property.

Anniversary

I loved this property! Very cleanly and a good location to be in! A lot of food and little restaurants near by. I told them that it was our anniversary and they provided some flowers and some drinks for us! Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

I would not call this a kitchen. But more a kitchenette. Think hotel room and you will be set. Brought stuff to cook but no pan, stove top, or tray for the toaster oven. The pics are accurate but i over looked when i saw kitchen with utensils ect. Other then that it was perfect!!!!! The location was great. Highly recommend dinner at the resort. And the short drive to Hanelai bay! Loved our stay!!!

Nice condo

If you like condo staying, then this place fine. It’s clean, has most of what you need to enjoy the area, a nice pool area, and the Princeville location is great for North Shore access. Communication with property mgmt was great. No cooking/kitchen area, but it’s not that kind of place.

Lovely studio in a nice condo village. The agents were prompt and accessible. Princeville centre and golf courses are nearby but you need a car to get anywhere else.

Perfect Home Base for Exploring Princeville and the North Shore

We had a wonderful stay at this Princeville property. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen setup was modest but convenient — with a small oven, microwave, mini fridge-freezer, and a basic set of utensils, plates, and cups. We also appreciated the beach gear provided (chairs, umbrella, cooler), which made our daily outings super easy.The location was ideal with just a short drive (under 5 minutes) to Queen’s Bath, several Princeville beaches, and the local Foodland grocery store. It made for a great home base to explore the North Shore, including Hanalei.The host was responsive, check-in was smooth, and the property matched the listing. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking to enjoy Kauai’s North Shore.

I was having difficulty getting to unlock the door. The instructions said to punch in code but it didn’t unlock. We called the number, he answered and help us to get in. The instructions said punch in code but didn’t tell us after the code press check! All is well! 😅

Host cancelled a day before our stay

I booked the property on Dec 14 to stay Jan 26-Feb 3. On Jan 25 the day before checkin I got an email at 1:04 pm CT (not a phone call) telling me they double booked and my reservation was cancelled and I would get a refund. When I called them to verify they said it was due to a third party software issue. They did end up paying for a Napali coast excursion as a way to help compensate for the higher priced property I ended up having to book.

Good location, fine room

This did the job, but it was pretty expensive for what I got. The bathroom was kind of dingy and the shower leaked all over the bathroom, but the rest of the room was nice, clean, and had great fans to keep it cool. Walls are kind of thin so you can hear folks next door and upstairs. Laundry is NOT actually onsite unless you have a bigger condo with laundry inside. Beach stuff is included which is super nice. I didn’t used the pool, but heard people having fun out there a lot when I was parking my car. Parking can be tricky, as you don’t have a guaranteed spot near your unit.

Great experience!

We had a blast! Everything (beach, grocery store, shopping center, ...) is within walking distance . I 100% recommend!! The only reason why I didn’t give 5/5 stars is because of parking. It’s not always guaranteed that a spot will be available.

Nice, But Not as Promised

The room was nice, clean. Not fancy, but good for a short stay. It had a mini fridge, microwave and toaster which was nice. Also had some dishes to use. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. We were a bit disappointed in the linai (back patio). It is extremely dark and uninviting, so definitely not like the picture. Also, in various spots on this VRBO posting it says it comes with your own parking space, which is apparently not true. Not sure why you would include a photo of the parking space with "a very nice feature to have your own parking spot here! 137 is all yours!" if it really isn't. It is again stated in the description "here you can park the car in your dedicated parking spot for 137 (all yours)". So that was really frustrating since parking is limited at night, and you have to park clear on the other side of the condo property. For those reasons I am giving is a 3/5 rating. If the posting had said that parking was on a first come first serve basis it would've been fine, but this was clearly misleading.

Mahalo for your hospitality! The place is not large, but great with the lanai and proximity to the loop in Princeville. Truly enjoyed our time there.

Overall it was a nice place to stay and explore the area.

Deceiving condo description, non-existant customer service

We were traveling with our 10-month old and wanted equipped condos to suit our needs. The description of this unit is false advertisement. It says it has a kitchen/kitchenette. That only means microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. No stove, kitchen sink, or even counter top. Luckily there is a communal BBQ by the pool that we used for all 5 nights there. Also had to do dishes in the bathroom sink. There was also only 2 forks, 2 knives, 2 spoons, and a couple plates. A decent knife and cutting board would go a long way at the very least. It also says there is coin laundry. FYI that means 20 miles away in Kapaa, nothing on site. We called Princeville Vacation Rentals to see what could be done to help us out. They said the Property Manager would be in touch to help. We never heard from anyone. After the trip I emailed to ask when to expect our damage deposit would be returned. Again, no answer. This place is ok at best. Just do your homework and know what you're getting into. We had much better experiences with other VRBOs on Kauai, at a cheaper price too.

Great location, great sevice.

My wife and I were very happy to spend a week in this apartment. It was clean and well maintained. You can't beat the location. The communication with management was simple and clear. Mind that there is no kitchen there. Just a microwave and a small refrigerator. Enjoy your stay in Kauai!
