The location was perfect and absolutely beautiful. The floor plan is great having the two living rooms and kitchens. We had trucks with trailers and plenty of room to turn around and park. It did seem like they were in the middle of some remodel projects. It was not a big deal but somewhat strange. We did get two different answers regarding having extra family coming to the property but not staying the night, we were also unsure on how many were going to be joining. We will definitely return to this home. It has a welcome home feeling. To be expected the bugs and spiders, we did a quick clean around the doors and wipe down when we got there. The outside cameras were no big deal for us and extra security for our toys.

Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience as the other reviewers. Jackie was pleasant in messages. Ron was not in messages and threatening in a call. Then he ghosted us and VRBO agents trying to assist with the situation. Additionally, Security cameras are understandable for safety purposes but left us feeling like we were constantly being monitored through our entire stay. Please consider the options before booking not only for cleanliness of the rooms, uncomfortable atmosphere, but for the attitude of the host.

It is unfortunate things went the way they did but we were shocked to see the number of people who were there when the booking was for four people. It is a standard rule for short term rental properties that only registered guests are allowed on the property unless other arrangements have been made with the host. We did not feel you were honest with us and are dismayed that you are not willing to take any responsibility for our reaction when we observed five cars and 10 guests at the property. You admitted in your correspondence that you were hosting family that were not registered guests at our property. There are no cameras in the house; there is one camera showing the driveway and one that shows the backyard, that is far from constantly watching you. Hopefully potential guests will read the other stellar reviews for the property - we have had no other problems with any guests other than your party.

Our group of four adult women stayed here for a two-day golf tournament, and it was the perfect place for our trip. The house was exceptionally clean, with spacious bedrooms and plenty of beds for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were beautifully updated and well-stocked, making it easy to relax and feel at home. We also appreciated the clear and detailed instructions provided for the property, which made check-in and our stay completely stress-free. The host was outstanding—very responsive and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. The highlight of the property was the incredible lake view. It was the perfect setting to unwind after a day of traveling and golfing. We enjoyed relaxing on the property and taking in the scenery. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-maintained lake getaway in the Crofton area.

We love our lake home - we have many great memories there when our kids were younger. We really want other families and individuals to make great memories there also. It is very well located for hunters as well.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

This was undeveloped land when we purchased it in 2008. When we hiked through the ravine to get to the property we were amazed by the view. We knew it was the perfect place for our lake home. My husband is a civil engineer; he not only built the house, he developed the land including the driveway and road to the boat dock. I don't know which he enjoyed more - he has a real connection with this property.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The location provides an awesome view of Lewis & Clark Lake, it is private but close to boat landing. The house is set up to accommodate two families or one large family and there are awesome views from everywhere. There are two patios, living areas, fully equipped kitchens & laundry units. I have stayed in rental units and have found the kitchens are pretty sparse so i have made sure both kitchens are fully equipped. The deck has a Blackstone griddle, smoker and there is a smoker on the patio on the lower level too. There are many TV's and good internet service throughout the property. The house is comfortable and easy to live in. This is one of the few properties that has access to the lake and has a boat dock that is shared with only one neighbor. This makes getting on the lake quick and easy.
