Enjoy Beachfront living at this cozy and private beach house in Cholla Bay. that sits right on the Sea of Cortez.. The perfect location Located near Sandy Beach. Cholla Bay is a short drive to the city close to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
Guests will enjoy private use of the entire Beachfront home that Sleeps 6 adults comfortably. If you have a larger group, let us know and we can accommodate with the 4 villas available on the same property .
Enter the beach house from the front door to a large open concept floorplan thats perfect for family dinners and gatherings. Enjoy the large windows with 360 degree views while the kids play on the beach or hang out watch movies on the 52" Smart TV.
Enjoy the comforts of home with a a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, dinnerware, glassware, and utensils. Everythung you need to Cook meals for the family is included. . There is a gas stovetop, microwave, fridge, toaster, blender, crock pot and built in breakfast table. Just add groceries and you are all set.
Wake up and enjoy keurig coffee, fresh squeezed juice and breakfast at nearby xochitas .
Off the kitchen are 2 bathrooms. One has huge walk in tiled shower and the other toilet, sink, vanity and mirror.
Family room is cozy and comfortable with 2 Queen size beds with high quality sheets and down comforters to comfortably sleep 4. The perfect space for the kids to snuggle up and watch movies on the 52" HDTV with Roku streaming Stick.
Walk right out to the back patio to a huge sundeck with patio seating, gas and charcoal grill, patio table that seats 8 and a firepit to that marshmellows. The bay has high and low tides every 12 hours so check the tide calender to plan your time on the beach.
The master bedroom is dark and cozy with a new Queen pillowtop matress ,1800 thread count sheets, down comforter, writing desk, dresser, and 2-night stands and 48" Roku TV with free Netflix.
Each room has a 1 ton AC unit for plenty of comfort after long day of activities.

This home is the perfect location for large Groups, comprate retreats, or family reunións.
The host is on site to help you with any requests you may have.
Plenty of beach extras are Available upon request:
Beach chairs, canopys, kayaks, rafts, ATV rentals, and more.

For additional guests, Just a few steps away on the same property are two newly built

perfect family vacation

our family stayed here almost a week with our 5 young children and loved it. the hostess was very attentive and extremely helpful with anything we needed. she even called a friend to help translate so we could have a pizza delivered. the house was clean and the views were amazing. my kids enjoyed walking the bay when it was low tide and finding many ocean treasures! we were just sure to plan our days so we could enjoy high tide, which is only a few steps away from the staircase. great vacation!

DO NOT RENT HERE !!

to say the least , this place was horrible . We got there and the porch was a mess , there was roaches everywhere . My family and I stayed 3 nights and on the first day the water AND gas ran out . I personally had to go into the city (IN a foreign country/city) to find a water company to come fill up the tanks that should have already been full before our arrival . I spent $57 dollars that was NEVER reimbursed even when I told the owner . any time I tried to contact the owner she would take forever to reply , and when she did she said she would send someone but NO ONE showed up. The owner claims she is living in the property but her workers had told me she had not been there in months !! . So to conclude we NEVER got gas , I spent a whole day trying to find someone to fill up the water tanks , the WiFi was not working and there were roaches everywhere . Do not trust your money with this owner , plus the property is yet to be beach front , the water is about a mile away . VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MY STAY .

Really like the option to rent the house and also the few apartment rooms next door sharing the same yard. Great place to take your family and rent next door for larger parties!

The worst stay in puerto penasco

This is false advertising the pictures were done very well to make the place seem good. The manager Pepsi was rude and unappreciated felt like she would say take it or leave It I have your money already. The second day ran out of water and her response was I’ll be there tomorrow. Asked for 15% Inconvenience fee and she agreed and still waiting till this day. I highly recommend everyone to stay away from this place nowhere near what they charge to stay here. The beach is dirty and smells the tide comes in and out. So there is only water part of the day. Terrible place worst experience I’ve had in puerto penasco

Absolutely gorgeous ocean view, fun house to enjoy family and nature.

I had fun until my 7 yr old and I woke up with bites on face, forearm, neck and stomach. My little girl and I slept in the only bedroom where we discovered bed bugs the 2nd night 😝. I let management know but didn't feel she cared, no apologies not even sympathetic. Also water keeps going out, house is listed up to 8 people but can't accommodate for 7. (for showers, dish washing, toilet flushes.). I won't rent here again.

I responded to traveler by removing the bed and all linens in the home. I also had a brand new mattress and box spring delivered to the property. The home and beds were all tested for infestation. ALL TEST WERE NEGATIVE. !! I am sorry your experience wasnt a good one. I took all the appropriate steps to handle the situation to the best of my ability.

Another wonderful stay in rocky point

Our family really enjoyed this cozy, beachfront property. The beds were comfy and everything suited out needs perfectly. The only downside is the water is only high enough to swim in for a portion of the day. Everything else was great. Thank you!

I rented this house this past weekend for my kids and I , and we definitely we had a great time the house was very clean and the view was absolutely stunning especially when the high tide arrives, definitely will come back and recommend it for anyone looking for a home to stay!!plus the lady who take care the place it was very friendly and polite.

Could have been a lot better

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this property left us feeling kind of blah. We were emailed instructions on how to retrieve the key and got in at 4 pm. Upon entering the property it appeared to be old and dated as many properties are in the area. The cleaning company/person should be fired! We opened the door to be greeted by a dead roach on the floor and if it was just cleaned it would not have been missed. The coffee table had not been wiped in some time. We threw a few items in the refrigerator but it had quite a bit of fish odor to it. Then we opened the shower room door and the smell about killed us. I know mexico does have a smelly bathroom system but it was pretty bad. The shower had an old wash cloth hanging on the curtain rod and a bar of soap in the holder with hair on it. The shower curtain was about shredded. As far as paper products we were left only 1/2 roll of toilet paper for our stay. I don't like to chase people for simple stuff like that, we just picked some up at the local store. I'm not sure if its normal but whenever the shower is turned on the water runs black for about 20 seconds before it clears out. The back patio area has not seen a broom or a good wipe down in a while. The master bedroom was missing the 48" TV that was advertised in the listing. I contacted the property manager and she said that housekeeper said it was missing (weird) and she told me she would try to find me one. I told her we could make it threw without but it would have been nice to have since it was the only one in the home. I took pictures inside the property before and after because I didn't want to get blamed for stuff that just goes missing. I felt the security deposit for the property was very excessive. We didn't do any cooking while in the house but I did notice a sulfur gas smell in the kitchen and found one of the pilot lights on the stove top was out so I re-lit it. During our stay there was just about no water in the bay most of our visit. It would have been nice during booking to have known that as certain times the bay is mostly empty and just a cove of mud. The beds were comfortable (we were hoping the housekeeper changed the bedding ). The AC units worked well. This property could be really nice with some work and cleanup. It has great sunsets and a lot of potential.

Camping on the bay

It was just as I expected it to be. It worked out great for a family of five. The tides left a lot of beach, but during the high tides the water was right out the back steps. It’s not a four seasons, but I would return again.

GREAT STAY

Great location! Very clean home, smelled very nice. The beds were so comfy. Very spacious with a great view. The hospitality my children and I received was above and beyond!! I will definitely be staying here every time I go to Puerto Penasco.

Such a disappointment.

We stayed at this property over October Break. We were really excited about our vacation in Rocky Point. The house was less than clean with stained bedding. Multiple dead roaches on the floor. The oven and stove didn't work, but they came and filled the propane. We didn't have Wifi or Direct TV for the first 2 days, the owner said the bill wasn't paid. The second night there was a rain storm and there were multiple leaks inside. We spent an hour in the middle of the night cleaning up leaks. We ran out of hot water the day before we left and had no water the morning before we left. It was a disappointing trip to say the least. The beach was really nice and it was great to have such close access to the water. We will not return to stay here again.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry you had a poor experience. This year we have made many improvements. The roof has been redone, the hot water heater has been replaced. We added wifi extenders ., to ensure excellent Wifi throughout the property. Added Smart TV's that offer free Netflix and Amazon prime. We have updated the appliances and added all new cookware & dinnerware. Just to name a few. We would like to offer you a complimentary 2 nite stay to return to our property to enjoy all the positive changes we have made to ensure our guests have an excellent experience.

It was clean besides the fridge. There were still items from other people in there what I did not liked. And the pots and pans were useless. To old and primitive also the stove and the oven.

Great time!!

We had an amazing family getaway! The view is absolutely beautiful, especially the ocean sunsets! Our children loved all of the goodies the property manager provided such as buckets for sand castles, boogie boards and even a fishing rod! The property manager was extremely helpful and very accommodating! She has great vision and we can't wait to see the end product! We hope to visit again very soon! Thanks for everything!!

Beach Front is where to be

just came back from an extremely relaxing time with family. Cholla bay has been great to us each time. The area is beautiful and away from all the "touristy" resorts. Don't get me wrong there are still visitors at cholla bay but NOT like there is by the resorts. We took our three kids, my parents and bother and it was great! WE enjoyed spending our mornings walking out as far as we could till we reached ocean water in search of ocean treasures. Finally on day three we found as many sand dollars as we could carry. My children were extremely excited!!!! As far as our beach house there was a small hick up with the electricity but Ramon was more than willing to come over and get it fixed. The only thing I would make sure for the next visitors is to make sure all towels are replaced with new ones, fix the main bedroom a/c as it did not work, we had to use the standing fan every afternoon and night and make sure if you are going to provide paper products (plates, cups, utensils etc that those are stalked ready for your guest and also place a how to access WFI and contact cheat sheet ). WFI did not work for me today as I had to check in with my company and had to handle some emails and calls this morning (used my HOTSPOT...ouch!)
