An apartment in this cosy village is the perfect base for enjoying the Catalan country side, trips to Barcelona 75 km. away or just to the beautiful regional capitol Vic 10 km. away.

The apartment has room for 5 guests. It has a fairly large open kitchen -dining area and lounge with flat screen and WiFi. There are two lovely bedrooms. One with a double bed and one with 3 single beds. The entire apartment is furnished modern. There is also a lovely terrace, nicely furnished and with BBQ.

In the garden is a swimming pool, deckchairs, garden furnitures, BBQ and table tennis. The area is shared with the other 5 holiday apartments in the building, so there are plenty of space for everybody.

On the ground floor is a big café with room for guests in their popular bakery/café. Here you can eat your breakfast or have a sandwich, or just go down to buy fresh bread, croissants and other delicious groceries.

OUR HISTORY:
Lisbeth and I (Bertel) are the owners of the company SYDENS FERIEHUSE. For the last 14 years we have engaged in letting out fantastic Catalan holiday homes, all of which live up to our criterias: they are authentic, charming homes and are all of a very high standard. We consider the perfect holiday to consist of two parts - a nice holiday home and some great excursions and activities. For each part of Catalonia we have made an activity document with our personal recommendations. As we consider ourselves to be experts in Catalonia, you are of course always welcome to ask for help and advice. We aim to find the perfect holiday home for you :-)

Catalonia: Catalonia, Spain has a distinct regional identity that borrows little form the rest of Spain. Catalans have their own language, and are intensely proud of their unique art, cuisine, folklore and long history. Ask the Catalans themselves and many will tell you that Catalonia is not a region but a nation. Not surprisingly, rivalry between the Catalans and the rest of Spain is an ongoing part of this country's history.
Catalans pride themselves on good eating too, and you will find some of Spain's finest restaurants here. Catalan food is typically Mediterranean, featuring olive oil as its staple component. As the region is so geographically diverse, it provides a variety of fresh high quality meat, poultry, game, seafood, fruit and vegetables and a great variety of wild mushrooms.
All in all Catalonia offers no end of opportunities for day trips and adventures, that together with its excellent communications, makes of Catalonia a top-class tourist destination in Europe.

The Vic area: Vic is the capital of the region of Osona, Barcelona, is located on the banks of the Meder river, in the vicinity of the impressive Sau reservoir. It is small town (70.000 inhabitants) and is situated on the plain that carries its name. Plane del Vic.

A holiday based in Vic provides you and your family with the perfect base for a relaxing holiday, in the heart of Catalonia. You will find yourself at home among the local inhabitants and enjoy the lively local life and cuisine in this beautiful town. Among lush green hills, and authentic small town Spanish life, you are still only 75 km. distance to the big city-life of roaring Barcelona, or the majestic beauty of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees. If you want to go to the beach, whether you prefer a lively crowded beach or a peaceful secluded one, it is only a 100 km. drive to the east.
The market on Tuesday and Saturdays is the largest in Catalonia and is absolutely well worth a visit.

The town Vic with its charming old quarter is worth a visit. On Tuesdays and Saturdays you will find a large popular and lively market on Placa Major. Another option is to enjoy the delicious cuisine or to take a guided tour through the historical quarter. On the central square you will find many shops and café terraces. The square is always full of genuine Catalan rural atmosphere.
If you want to go to the beach, whether you prefer a lively crowded beach or a peaceful secluded one, it is only a 100 km. drive to the east. Your vacation house will provide a excellent base for experiencing the diversity of Catalan nature and cultural heritage. and then Barcelona is just 75 km. away.
