A well presented and generously proportioned New York Loft Style, 1 bedroom apartment in heart of the city. Floor to ceiling windows, giving one the feeling of space and light as you walk into the unit. Experience the sophistication of city living.
Close to transport, shops and restaurant's. Just a short walk to Cockle bay and Darling Harbour. Would suit a professional or holidaying couple.
Minimum stays of 5 nights or more with some properties having minimum 3 or 6 month requirements. Utility contribution charges apply. A complimentary welcome pack includes a number of single use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, snacks, soap, laundry and dishwashing supplies. This fully furnished property includes quality amenities and every convenience to ensure you enjoy a comfortable 'home away from home'. All linen is included in the rental rate. The location is centrally located in the CBD and a good size for 1 or 2 people. There is a great view of Darling harbor from the balcony. The bathroom could have used a more thorough cleaning but the rest of the place was clean enough. There are a few maintenance issues that need looking at, the toilet seat is loose, there were light fixtures that didn't work (maybe a light bulb), the space heater wasn't working, the rusty bistro table outside needs a refinish, the bathroom light fixture should be replaced as well as the baseboards. If you can overlook those, the price is right.

Great location at a reasonable price. Was there for a conference at Darling Harbour which was an easy 5 minute walk. Entry was by nearby lockbox, with very easy instructions provided. Apartment itself was fine. Fittings and furnishings were a little tired but cannot fault the cleanliness. Overall for the price, I will definitely be staying here again for work.

The property was as described and the view of Darling Harbour was amazing. The apartment was clean and the location was perfect as you could easily walk or take transport wherever you wanted. The downside to renting the private apartment was if you had any issues the property managers were not onsite so it was not easy to get resolution. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment and it cost $200AUD for a locksmith. We were only given one key which likely may not have prevented the lock out but didn’t allow the two of us to separate and do different activities on our own. The toilet seat was broken. We were we given two dishwasher pods and 3 rolls of toilet paper for a 13 night stay. For the amount paid these should have been stocked better. There was no stopper for the kitchen sink so we weren’t able to wash dishes by hand easily which makes me wonder how clean the dishes actually were. We discovered while there the building has both private apartments and apartments with onsite staff. The private apartments like this one have the best views but next time I think it would be worth staying in the apartment without the view as the accessibility of support staff would be a benefit. Friday and Saturday nights were noisy and busy. You will need earplugs to get any sleep on those nights. Both Saturdays the noise didn’t die down until 4 am.

Nice location but...Yuck!

My husband, and I, have stayed at numerous VRBO rentals in Europe and America while also owning rental properties ourselves. This is the first really big disappointment I've ever had. Pros-The location is close to Darling Harbor, QVB, Circular Quay and provides a great view of the harbor. The lobby of the building is clean, the staff is friendly and professional. The contact person with the property management company was very prompt and helpful with her communicating key pick up, etc. Cons- There are two elevators, only one works and typically has the cleaning person in it with all of the dirty linens and trying to get a around which makes the delays in using the elevator longer. The hallway, outside the flat, has a funky odor and the odor in the flat is of stale cigarette smoke. We tried airing it out and the smell doesn't go away. There are some really basic maintenance items that should be taken care of, like reattaching the trim by the patio door and fixing the washing machine door latch. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't which makes getting your laundry out a trick and time consuming. Cleaning the living room rug would not be a bad idea. The worst issue was the bathroom ceiling which is covered in mold and mildew and desperately needs to be addressed along with the mildew and mold in the base of the shower door. All of these things are not that difficult or expensive to fix and should be taken care of, especially when mold is a serious issue for most and allergy for some. The last really strange and frustrating detail is that guests are required to take out the garbage during and at the end of their stay which is made more difficult by garbage bags not even being provided. The garbage bags in the kitchen and bathrooms were plastic bags from some shops and there were no other bags provided. In a city where you don't even get plastic bags at the grocery stores, it becomes a even bigger irritation.
