Majestic Mountain View Condo

True R & R vacation with a 2 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath condo with an open kitchen-fully equipped, dining and family room combination that includes a laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Top unit with vaulted ceilings and stone fireplace. Each bedroom has their own private bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The family room includes theater seating for four with a 40' flat screen TV with cable. In the evening, relax on the oversized deck overlooking the mountains and golf course as you enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset. Activities include golf, white water rafting, hiking, horse back riding, fishing, viewing beautiful waterfalls and zip lining just a few miles away. Surrounding areas such as Highlands, NC offers fine dining and unique boutiques for shopping. Other dining and shopping areas are in Clayton and Dillard, GA. Great hiking throughout the area. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time with family or friends for golf or to enjoy the beauty and the activities that surrounds you, this is the place for you!

My extended family enjoyed the Sky Valley condo very much during Thanksgiving. They said it had everything they needed and was very comfortable with updated bathrooms. The washer and dryer came in handy during their week.

First night there heat did not work. It was 62 degrees inside. The next morning coffee maker didn’t work. We were not happy. Called property manager and he had the heat fixed quickly! Property just needs a lot of attention

We rented this property twice now and we are always so pleased with not only the home but the communication and care the owners have for their guests. We look forward to staying here again soon!

Location is excellent. Golf course is beautiful and fun to play. Loved the chuch bells! Unit appears to be getting some update and TLC. Best of all the weather was a big relief!!

Mother Daughter Get Away

We enjoyed staying at his condo. Everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed all the fall decorations as we drove into the resort. Great place to stay to see all the pretty leaves.

Super comfortable

Thank you! Your place was super comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed for the 5 weeks we stayed. We really appreciated the view, the long walks, sunsets, church bells and serenity. P.S. bed in main bedroom was wonderful so were all blankets, pillows, towels and things.

We wanted a quick getaway and we really enjoyed everything. Nice view! Not a cabin, more like 8-10 apartments attached. Disappointed that there was no Hot Tub on the property as listed.

Winter Wonderland

This was a perfect condo to experience a huge snowstorm in Sky Valley. Beautiful views and lots of convenient amenities in the home. Downside is that you have to turn on the water and hot water heater yourself, so it's a bit of a job. But once you're settled in, it's a comfortable and spacious environment to experience being "snowed in."

Great place to stay. Beautiful and quiet scenery. Well stocked Condo.

We had a great stay here for a month. The only downside was that the thermostat was not working and was only able to be remotely controlled by the owner and they never did anything to fix it all month. It was a pain having to rely on the owners to remotely adjust our a/c and heating thermostat. Hope they get this fixed for the next rental.

Cozy place in a serene setting

Beautiful views, cozy mountain community, nice home with plenty of room for our 5 person family. We enjoyed time around the fire place, and grilling on the spacious deck. The kitchen is well stocked, and there were some items available for our use like seasonings and coffee. Wifi worked fine, but we had no cell service and the land line did not seem to be connected. Other than that, and an inflatable mattress that did not stay inflated, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Sky Valley Get-Away

The mountain top condo was spacious and certainly met expectations for the 4-day getaway of one adult and two teens. We spent time in the area white water rafting, horseback riding, shopping & eating. Sky Valley Resort is centrally located to several activities so a good place to call home base. Mountain roads to resort and up to condo are curvy and unlit so we ensured all activities found us home before nightfall. Condo has not been updated, but furnished as expected for location and in quiet area away from resort amenities. Communication with owner is not immediate; took several hours to get feedback when inquires were made. We had issues getting access to pool which were not able to be resolved during our visit. This was disappointing for the teenagers. I recommend you bring your own linens & towels. Although items provided are washed by cleaning crew, they are well worn and ready to be replaced. Also, if you prefer K-Cup coffee, bring your own machine as one is not available in unit. Master Bath needs updating. Obvious repair work, rusted magazine/TP rack, dated lighting (missing light bulb) is a turn off. I would return to this unit should the need arise. My overall impression is that this VRBO felt more like the owner had stepped out to allow use of his personal space vs. preparing it as a vacation rental. Some minor repairs and new linens/towels would make a world of difference.

Getaway Weekend...

We did enjoy our weekend getaway, the location was perfect for traveling to other small towns, and the setting on the property is beautiful with the golf course, trees and quiet. The condo was comfortable, although I would suggest that the pillows on the bed be replaced and the towels and linens could be freshened up. I'm not sure we would stay at this particular condo again, however we would certainly stay at the resort again. Thank you

Weekend getaway.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at Sky Valley. We spent time exploring the beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails. (Mud Creek Falls, Dry Falls, and Glen Falls) There were several nice eating places nearby. Dinner at Julep Kitchen was great and it is a beautiful place. Highlands, NC was a unique little town with nice shops and eating places and was only a short drive away.

Perfect location!

Comfy condo! Love that there’s 2 1/2 bathrooms along with two bedrooms. Very spacious, great location and owners are very easy to communicate with. Will definitely be back!

Great location, great view. Clean and very comfortable. Would definitely return. Good value also. Only criticism is no pantry for canned food and groceries. Need to empty out some cabinets.

Formerly from a small town in New Hampshire we grew up with the view of Mt. Washington and the White Mountains. We relocated to Florida with two young daughters that are now grown and are studying at Universities in Florida, UF daughter is in grad school for a PA degree and the FSU daughter is studying for accounting and finance degree to become a CPA. We enjoy family time together and cherish the moments we share at our condo in mountains. We have awesome memories and looking forward to more!!

Coming from NH, we so missed the mountains and the beautiful colors that autumn brings along with the fresh air that we felt compelled to look for a 2nd home in the Georgia/North Carolina area. The moment we travelled the area for a mini vacation, we knew immediately that this area was the best kept secret. We enjoy all of the amenities the area provides and the tranquility and beauty that surrounds it.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The property has a spectacular view from the back deck. which overlooks the valley and the mountains. We enjoy sitting there in the evening to watch the sunset or early morning with a cup of coffee. We also enjoy relaxing in the family room with a great movie or a book and playing board games or cards in the dining room. The 18 hole championship golf course is surrounded by beautiful mountain views, lakes and streams. There is something for the whole family to enjoy!!
