Host was very easy to communicate with. 3 bedrooms, nice cozy living room, kitchen had all the dishes we needed with a table large enough to seat our family of 9! Pet friendly was great for us as well! Location was perfect for skiing Mt Snow and Stratton!

Ski weekend with kids, friends, and family

Comfortable house with a great set up for families with kids, including two families given the room set ups. Not far from Mount Snow although in the wrong direction from town (which we knew). Great for a quick ski weekend.

Sister's weekend getaway

There were 6 of us, sister's and sister's-in-law for a girls weekend. The house was lovely inside and out. Great location. Christine provided everything we could want or need. We would definitely go again!!

Wonderful family ski trip

We feel so fortunate to have found this great spot a short drive away from Mt Snow and right on a beautiful river. Cozy, warm, and had everything we needed. Becky was so communicative and everything was easy. Thank you!

Great Family House

The house is in a great location on the main road and between Stratton and Mount Snow. We went skiing at both! It has a nice setup for family fun, open layout, plenty of beds and hangout space, everything you need in the kitchen, games, movies and more. The house was cozy and clean and I would rent this house again!

Spacious and simply stay!

My group and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and couldn't have asked for an easier welcome and stay. A few of my guests met the owners upon check-in and only had wonderful things to say about them. Majority of us live busy lives and Chris' home hit the spot for the perfect "off the radar" vibes but close enough to civilization if we really wanted it. The house is simple and has all the needs one can ask or want for. My group and I would gladly return!

Nice quiet getaway from it all

Quiet retreat with a nice little river out back, with plenty of room for a fire pit if youā€™d like. Lenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable with a nice dining and living room area downstairs. My personal favorite was the upstairs however, with several beds and the convertible washer and dryer. should you need it!

Great Snowboard Stay

This home was as described . Our purpose was skiing and snowboarding and the proximity to Mt Snow and Stratton were great!! Plus we actually had a lot of snow. Chris (owner) was very a helpful from the start. There is no local or cable TV and she made certain that wifi was in great working order so we could use Firestick to watch the olympics. The house was spotless with all the extras sheets towels which were not old and overused and the beds were new and comfy. We had a little problem with the heat but called Jim the maintenance man who came over immediately and fixed it. We would reccommend this home to others for sure. Thanks Chris!

Perfect place to stay

My family (husband and two children) along with another family with two children stayed at this property for 3 nights to celebrate a 40th birthday and to go skiing/snowboarding. We truly enjoyed our stay there and would gladly go back. As previous reviews have mentioned, the house is fully stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and there's a barbecue on the back deck which we also enjoyed using. The TV downstairs has netflix and tons of good DVDs for the children to watch along with another TV upstairs in the children's room. The bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper, soap, towels, etc. and it was nice to have a washer and dryer available along with laundry detergent available to use. The children loved sledding in the back yard (sleds were also provided with the house) and the view of the river in the back was priceless. It was a perfect getaway from our busy lives at home and we will gladly return again.

functional but not the best experience

Overall, a functional place for staying for a ski trip at stratton. We had a large group and we ate breakfast and dinner at the bnb. Unfortunately, the power went out during our stay in the middle of the night and the description does mention that it might go out, there wasn't a storm happening or anything. It also didn't seem like the host made any effort to inquire why there was a power outage. Luckily the power came back on in the morning so it wasn't too bad. There also wasn't enough toilet paper and paper towels, and we messaged the host but they said they wouldn't provide and we'd have to go out and buy some. Additionally there is only 3 in 1 mens shampoo so I would recommend bringing shampoo and soap. All of these things were also on the listing as to be provided by the BNB host though they weren't / were not adequately provided for the entirety of our stay.

New Yearā€™s Ski Weekend

This house was very clean and met the needs of our family- friend weekend. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Itā€™s just a few minutes away from Mt. Snow. Becky, the homeowner, was very attentive and quick to reply to messages. Thank you for the cozy house!

Excellent property and host!!

Becky was a great host and the property included everything needed. We skied at Mount Snow which made for a really easy commute. Would absolutely recommend this property!

Milk weekend stay

We had a great long weekend stay despite the temporary loss of power due to a winter storm. All homes in the area were without power during this time. The owner was very communicative regarding this and other small issues.

Wonderful summer getaway

This place is everything we were looking for. The Wardsboro river (Creek) running in the backyard was the only thing our kidā€™s needed to keep them occupied. The place was exactly as advertised. I the downside of the property was the lack of air conditioning in the second floor. It got really swampy during the night so that wouldā€™ve been a plus. Otherwise, we would definitely return again !

Excellent location for Skiing!

Only a few minutes from Mount Snow and Stratton. Communication with the owner was easy. We went with another family and everyone had a great time. Plenty of room for everyone.

20 minute drive away from a handful of ski resorts.

Roomy home within 20 minute or less to some of our favorite VT ski mountains. We loved it and our dogs did too :)
