Candise was exceptional as a host. She was very quick to respond to questions prior to arrival and very helpful once we arrived. I had specifically asked about the queen blow up mattress as we had a large group and we needed the extra mattress. However, once we arrived, we realized there was not a blow up mattress there. She went to the trouble to bring us one herself within a short amount of time. I would like to say that there was no extra pillows, blankets, or sheets for the blow up mattress through but we made do. Thankfully those using the blow up were teenagers. The place was relatively clean but we did have some issues with roaches. There were some holes in the doors and soft spots in the floors. The laundry room was actually in a rickety shed on the side of the house. The dryer did NOT dry even our light weight bathing suites and the washer had trouble draining water. The spiral stair case was very narrow and dark and I would not recommend for very small children or older people. The back porch was really nice and shady, the griddle was great and we cooked all our meals on that, and the refrigerator on the porch as fantastic. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool table - that was a game changer for the rental for our group. Thank you to Candis again for all her work and communication.
