Gated Resort near to everything

This home was clean and well kept with plenty of towels, utensils and quite spacious with a hot tub in the back facing onto a lovely lake. We loved sitting outside watching the terepin turtles and ducks. The house is so close to the clubhouse, the 192 and all parks and shopping. My family were delighted with the soccer channels on the TV they were able to watch the matches as they came on. It was a very quiet gated resort. There is a little confusion about the check out time but We would have no problem booking this house again in the future.

Terrible

First of all, we were on our honeymoon. Stayed Monday night thru Saturday morning. Booked this place specifically for the private hot tub. We arrived Monday evening, it was late so we just went to bed. Tuesday, we uncovered the hot tub, it was green, musty smelling and definitely would not heat up. I contacted the host, whose response was the pool guy comes on Thursday.and to let it run it will clear up. Well, we did that, not happy as id didn't clear up until Wednesday evening. And still not heating. Pool guy came Thursday. Still not functioning properly. Contacted host again Friday. He sent some one out. Finally at 4 pm it is usable. On the night before we leave. Not happy one bit. Host refused to even give a partial refund, because he had to shell out money for the repair. It's a 4 bedroom townhouse.not villa. Five towels in total. Zero hand towels. One wash cloth. Unacceptable. Don't run around without shoes on, as your feet will get dirty. And the filth under the edges of cabinets in bathroom and kitchen. Yuck. Some Brand new Villa....ruined the stay of the honeymoon

Brand New Villa?

Overall pretty nice location pretty nice facility pretty nice unit. However the ad says brand new Villa. It's not a brand new Villa! Leatherette Chairs with worn arms. The hot tub was a reason why we booked this unit in the hot tub with basically unusable. It was so murky and cloudy you couldn't even see the Jets let alone the bottom of the hot tub. and when you got in the chemicals work out of balance and I was like stepping into slimy surface.

Unsafe feeling

We arrived to the home to garbage bags sitting outside. Upon reviewing the binder inside we tried to call the managers about the deposit, as we weren't informed of it being needed. If a deposit is required there should be a check off sheet to go over documenting anything that could affect the deposit getting returned. The walls have many marks in all the bedrooms, near the kitchen & up the stairs. We also had questions as to garbage day pick up, since trash was sitting outside the front door & the binder left blanks for the day when explaining about it. No one answered nor returned a call from the message left. We returned home on the 3rd night after a long day at Universal to a dead possum in the adjoining driveway that wasn't removed for days. On our 4th day there the Kissimmee Utility Company came & stated we needed to contact the owner or manager due to the bill not being paid; had we not been vacationing the power would've been shut off! I called the emergency number for the the managers & again no answer. This message was answered & I was told the owner hadn't paid the bill. The owner called that evening & told my friend the managers didn't pay the bill & asked her to take care of the left garbage. The next night we came home after a full day at Sea World to three police cars at the neighbors. Two more arrived shortly after along with a firetruck. Two people were taken away in the squad cars; for roughly a half hour there were people yelling obscenities & screaming outside. Then on our 6th night between midnight & 3 AM there was more yelling outside. On our last night before the 20 hour drive home we were awoken at 4:15 AM by pounding on a neighbor's door & yelling. I tried the emergency manager number to yet again no answer. I called the non-emergency police number in the binder only to discover it was for a fax machine. After a half hour the noise decreased. One point of confusion the check out time. The sign by the alarm on the wall states 10:30, the informational binder in the home states 10 & the owner told me 11. Which is it? In the contact for the owner it states messages are returned within hours. That is not accurate. I sent two messages asking questions about the home & needed to send a second time in the week before getting a response. I sent a message letting the owners know of the problems upon returning home & 3 weeks later have yet to receive a response. There is a lot to do close by, which saved our vacation.

Fijne plek !!!

Wat een fijne plek om je vakantie te mogen vieren. Het huis is goed onderhouden en een goede uitvalsbasis voor de parken, malls en restaurants. Het zwembad 3x stuiteren om de hoek en een mooi zicht op het meertje vanaf het terras. Heel attent was het telefoontje van de eigenaar om te horen of alles goed was. Een volgende vakantie in Florida kom ik graag weer terug! Misschien handig om te vermelden dat als mensen iets bestellen bij bv. Amazon het pakketje bij het Gatehouse wordt afgegeven.

Heerlijk huis voor een onbezorgde vakantie

Dit is een heerlijk, ruim en schoon vakantiehuis met alles erop en eraan. Wij hebben het uitstekend naar ons zin gehad. Alle Theme Parks, Malls en restaurants zijn vlakbij en na het vele lopen in de parken is het heerlijk bijkomen in de jacuzzi. De service is ook prima, we hadden een kapotte waterkoker die dezelfde dag nog werd omgeruild voor een nieuwe.Het contact met de eigenaar verliep ook uitstekend, hij heeft ons zelfs nog even gebeld of alles in orde was! Al met al mede door deze woning een heerlijke vakantie in Florida gehad. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ruim, schoon en comfortabel huis

Dit was ons eerste adres bij onze 'rondreis' door Florida. We zijn er een week geweest met een baby, een peuter en 2 volwassenen. We kwamen 's avonds laat aan en de afgesloten toegang tot het resort gaf direct een veilig gevoel. Het huis was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Genoeg bestek en kookgerei. Ook de keukenapparatuur was perfect. Ik vond zelf de vergruizer in de gootsteen geweldig :-). Ook fijn dat er een BBQ aanwezig was. De slaapkamers waren ruim en de bedden sliepen heerlijk. Ook handig dat beide grote slaapkamers een aangrenzende badkamer hadden en dat er nog een apart toilet was. Mijn dochter was dol op 'haar' kamer met het stapelbed en mijn zoon sliep prima in het babybedje. Het was ook prettig dat er kinderdvd's en speelgoed aanwezig waren. Er waren ook ruim voldoende handdoeken en keukendoeken aanwezig. Het was even uitzoeken hoe de wasmachine en droger werkten, maar dat is uiteindelijk ook gelukt. Alleen jammer dat er niet een flesje wasmiddel stond. Zonde om dat te kopen voor de 1 Ɣ 2 keer dat je de wasmachine gebruikt... De hot tub was heerlijk, alleen zat er wel hƩƩl veel chloor in. Na het douchen rook ik nog steeds naar chloor en mijn badpak na het wassen ook nog... Het zwembad was prima. Goed dat er een peuterbadje was. Het huis ligt verder centraal t.o.v. attractieparken en restaurants, supermarkten, etc. Ik zou dit huis absoluut aanbevelen aan mensen die in de buurt van Orlando een verblijf zoeken. Wij waren met z'n vieren, maar met 6-8 personen had het ook prima gepast.

Huis in Coral Cay

Via deze website kwam ik uit op het huis van de familie Boon in Kissimmee. De foto's en de recensies deden ons besluiten om wat extra informatie te winnen. Het contact met de heer Boon was heel prettig; naast informatie over het huis en de buurt tipte hij ons ook over het vliegen en de rest van ons verblijf in Florida! Vooral het overnachten na de lange vlucht bij het vliegveld in Miami was een goede tip!. Wij verbleven met 4 volwasssen en we hebben de ruimte als erg ruim en prettig ervaren! De woning is groot genoeg en de seperate badkamers en WC is toch erg handig! De woning was ook schoon en goed onderhouden. Het huis ligt perfect. Vlak bij de US 192, waar alle eethuisjes, motels etc. zijn, Old Town, Walmart (adres kunnen we later doorgeven), Disney etc , dus beter kan bijna niet! Het is een fijne omgeving; kinderen kunnen er rustig spelen en omdat het terrein is afgesloten geeft het een veilig gevoel. Wij hebben iedereen in onze omgeving deze woning aangeraden en wij raden ieder die richting orlando wil gaan om zeker te gaan voor een dit huis!

UItstekend debuut in USA

Wij zijn deze Zomer voor het eerst buiten Europa op vakantie gegaan en via zoeken op internet bij deze mooie woning beland op de Coral Qay Resort. De correspondentie met de familie Boon was vriendelijk, kort en Duidelijk en onze vakantie was helemaal TOP. De adviezen meegenomen via de fam. Boon na aankomst in Miami eerst een hotel genomen en de volgende dag naar Kissimmee gereden wat relatief zeer eenvoudig was. Daar aangekomen een prachtig Huis met alles er op en eraan en absoluut een aanrader. Dicht bij de Parken konden we kiezen in overvloed en ook de weg US192 was naast de parken een verademing. Vele restaurants, activiteiten, vlooiemarkten of te wel elke avond wat te doen en koken in de moderne Keuken was niet nodig want voor 10 euro onbeperkt eten tot je nemen zie je niet zo vaak. Chinees, Italiaans noemt het maar op alles te krijgen. Op het huis terugkomend, Lokatie zeer centraal, Walmart 1500 m, aansluiting US 192 via andere weg 800 m. Jacuzzi, inrichting, alles klopte. Na jaren Europa vakantie op campings zijn wij om USA is de nieuwe richting mede dankzij de info het huis wat wij 2 weken tot ons hadden.

Heerlijk centraal gelegen woning

Wij hebben samen met onze dochter van acht een rondreis Florida gemaakt. In Orlando hebben we zes dagen doorgebracht en we hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. Deze woning ligt dicht bij de Disney parken en outlet stores. Na lange dagen slenteren in de Disney parken of outlet stores is het fijn 'thuis' komen. Heerlijk ontspannen bij het zwembad of in de jacuzzi. De woning was erg mooi, netjes schoon en had ruime slaap- en badkamers. De keuken was volledig ingericht, maar hier hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt omdat er in de buurt voldoende restaurants waren. Zo hebben we heerlijke steaks bij the outback gegeten en was er ook een goed sushi restaurant in de buurt. Kortom een perfect centraal gelegen woning die onze vakantie in Florida helemaal super heeft gemaakt. We hebben nog lang niet alles gezien en gedaan in Florida en gaan zeker nog een keer terug. Deze woning willen we dan heel graag nog een keer huren.Ā

Cozy Townhome, Conveniently Located, Nice Owners

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely townhome in Coral Cay Resort. The owner responded promptly to all our emails and was a pleasure to do business with. We were able to pay in American dollars to a local rental management company in Florida. The local management was also available if anything were to go wrong. In addition, the maintenance guys at the resort helped us a couple times with little things like why the Jacuzzi didnā€™t work (it just needed more water). At first, when we took the turn off 192, we wondered what the house and resort would be like since the homes nearby werenā€™t quite as nice as we expected, but once we turned into the gated community, all was well. There are two nice playgrounds in the community. We, especially the kids, were disappointed the community pool is not heated so we chose not to use it (in January). I did see some people swimming in it on a semi-warm day, but that water must have been cold! The Jacuzzi on the back porch was fabulous and has lots of jets and power. We didnā€™t get a chance to use the movie room at the clubhouse, but it looked nice. By the way, this particular home is only 3 or 4 houses from the clubhouse. The townhouse itself is small, but cozy. We had 4 adults and 4 children and we got comfortable and enjoyed spending time together in the open living/dining/kitchen area. The kids spent a lot of time upstairs with the Wii anyway. Thereā€™s seating only for 4 at the dining table, but the living room is right there so we were all still together even though we couldnā€™t eat at the same table. The bedrooms upstairs have large closets, but the one downstairs was small. We made do by utilizing the space upstairs. The game/kidsā€™ room has a Wii with a couple games available. Bring your own too and a couple extra remotes if you can. We also brought our laptops and used the free WiFi in the home. All the bedrooms have TVs except the one with twin beds. There is an extra half bath downstairs, so 2 1/2 bath total. The showers weren't as hot as we were used to at home, but the kichen and sink water was. It may be a safety setting. There was a porta-crib available. Lastly, Coral Cay is conveniently located less than 5 minutes from shopping, mini golf, restaurants and even a super Walmart, where reasonable priced groceries, souvenirs, household items, prescriptions or anything else you need are available. We went there often. The community is about 15 to 25 minutes from Disney, depending on which park you go to.

Compleet huis op perfecte locatie

In oktober 2010 heb ik samen met mijn vriendin dit huis bezocht. Dit omdat we de parken in de omgeving van Orlando wilde bezoeken en daarnaast de vrijheid wilde hebben van een eigen huis. Dat lukt met dit huis prima, omdat we maar met z'n tweeen waren hebben we niet eens gebruik gemaakt van de 3 slaapkamers + badkamer boven, de WII en tafelvoetbal tafel zijn niet aangeraakt en de TV met te veel zenders om op te noemen hebben wij ook vrijwel niet gebruikt. Dus ook als je niet iedere dag in een pretpark zit is er in en om (gemeenschappelijk zwembad + prive jaccuzi) voldoende te doen. Daarnaast is de locatie ideaal, binnen 20 minuten ben je in Disney / Universal / Seaworld en verder is er binnen 5 minuten rijden meer als voldoende te doen. Voordat we besloten dit huis te boeken hebben we op internet vele huizen bekeken, maar deze leek ons echt het beste en dat is in de praktijk wel zo gebleken. De wijk waarin het huis staat is beveiligd met een hek en alles wordt verder heel netjes onderhouden. Kortom voor iedereen die van plan is de pretparken in de omgeving van Orlando te bezoeken absoluut een aanrader, ook als je met kinderen bent.
