The living room is set up with comfort in mind with overstuffed leather recliners, a sleeper sofa, and a bookcase featuring many current bestsellers. Guests are now able to stream unlimited Netflix movies from both TVs, so there will be ample entertainment for all to enjoy. When mealtimes come around, the full kitchen has been fully outfitted with new utensils, a new dishwasher, and ample cookware for all of your cooking needs. And, a gas grill is available when you want to keep it a bit more casual. You can even bring the family dog along to join in on the fun! Beware of Booking Practices

Beware of booking this property through VRBO as I was charged a large service fee to book this property through VRBO. It was not stated that this was a fee for VACASA to list this property on the VRBO website. I feel this is deceitful and I was not offered a refund when asked about this charge. If you look at the bottom of the page under the About the Host section, it will state that this property is Hosted by VACASA...which they were great to deal with. No where does it state that booking through VRBO will you be charged an exorbitant amount to book this property. Save yourself and go directly to the VACASA website.

Family of 6 vacation

We loved the house and enjoyed our stay! There are a lot of stairs in the home. You cannot go down to the water easy at all, and Oceanside Beach was driving distance. We were bummed there was no beach within walking distance that was a place we could go swim. It was nice to walk to the Beach Cafe and Buccaneers Cafe, nice neighborhood. We enjoyed it very much and the communication was great with the property management. We also noticed our sand was raked in the morning and that was nice. Was able to have a fire each night, but had to bring our own wood so just know that. Great place and would go back!

Family getaway

The home was great and perfect size for our family of 7. Very family friendly place. The view is unbeatable and the beach backyard was great. We enjoyed the short walk to the Buccaneer cafe every morning. The only feedback for action would be to have a little more bathroom and kitchen supplies on hand. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Oceanside stay!

We had a lovely stay over spring break as a family of 4 with two kids under 8. The views and sounds of the waves were incredible! The house was clean and cozy - there was more space and seating in the main living room than I’d realized from the pictures. We weren’t able to get down to the water with the tides, but we took the short walk to the rocky beach area a few blocks away and had plenty of sand time in Carlsbad. That’s where we headed for a few meals and Legoland; the house location made that an easy drive and was also walkable to a few good breakfast spots. Would definitely recommend this place to others looking to visit the area!

Beautiful Property and Location

Although we had rain the entire weekend, the location was beautiful with the sound of waves crashing and a beautiful view of the ocean. Would definitely come back.

Great home and location

Home is as described, but actually even nicer than the photos. Great layout of bedrooms and common space. Beach is beautiful and it's wonderful hearing the waves crash against the seawall all day. We enjoyed fires at night in the fire pit, sitting on the balconies, and taking walks in the area. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Relaxing Beach vacation

Loved the house , the unobstructed ocean view, private sandy beach area with chairs and caretaker who came early to rake and clean the sand after high tide! Excellent location .. walked to coffee shops, grocery store and scenic neighborhoods. Minutes from downtown , the harbor and the strand ! Even on cloudy days enjoyed the sound of ocean waves, watching dolphin and even saw a whale! Would love to come back in summer or Fall !!

Perfect spot!

We lived in the area for several years but love to come back annually. This is a perfect location. It’s off the Stand so no people noise, the walk-ability is amazing and the views are spectacular! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great and the space on the sand was great.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. This house is right on the beach which was perfect for our grandkids. They loved to go out and play in the sand and we made s’mores in the evening. We had access to the water when the tide was low but there wasn’t many beach toys that we found and wished we had games like cornhole or something to play. The house was very nice and clean and perfect for families with kids. We also liked the neighborhood. There is a park a short walk away and a coffee shop right next to it and more beach access across the street. The garage door opener broke on our 3rd night, the chain snapped off. We were able to manually open the garage and the doors into the house lock with a code so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would rent this house again!

Wonderful house

This beach front house was wonderful! It came equipped with everything we needed. We grabbed a few groceries and were able to just hang at the house. Low tide came in the middle of the day so we could climb down the rocks to the water. Not having to drive to the beach was amazing. However if you’re unable to get down the rocks there is beach access within a couple blocks. We loved being within walking distance to Beach Break Cafe. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Little Getaway

Took my wife and 5 young boys for a shaker vacation. The space was more than adequate and well-equipped to make the stay very enjoyable. The place was clean, easy to access, and in relatively quiet neighborhood. Neighbors on both sides are elderly and friendly year-round residents, so you don’t have to worry about other vacationers being rowdy. The view was great, and while you can’t currently get down to the water directly from the property, you still get to enjoy the sound of the surf and the sights of boaters and sea life off shore. We even got to watch a pod of dolphins play and hunt right off shore from the property, within as little as 50 yards from shore. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody!

WE ENJOYED THIS BEACH HOUSE!

This beach house was perfect for our extended family. Very spacious house was bright, warm, comfy, clean and peaceful. The kitchen was well-equipped with EVERYTHING you would need and appliances was great too! This wonderful house definitely lexceeded expectations. Thank you, Vacasa! 👍

Great time away!

Had a great week renting the property. The house was perfect and the management team was excellent in keeping in touch and immediately responding (used text) to any inquiries. Place was spotless. Only downside which had nothing to do with the house was the beach erosion so hopefully the sand will come back in. Great location and great time in Oceanside and Carlsbad. Would highly recommend. Stayed once previously and would stay again.

Incredible Vacation!

We arrived on a Saturday, the instructions to access were clear, we had no problems. The home was clean, there were a lot of towels (including beach towels) and bedding. We used the bbq and made a fire in the fire pit every night. The weather and atmosphere were perfect. We even had some contact with the 2 neighbors and they were wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this rental and we would personally use it again.

Toddler Perfection

Having the private sand kept our little boy entertained the whole week and the older kids LOVED body surfing and boogie boarding just down the rocks. It is a little tricky going down there so I would only recommend that beach access for athletic people. Buccaneer beach is super close though and is small and great. Lots of rocks though-bring water shoes! The house was perfection and we can’t wait to stay there again!
