Our spacious 6-bedroom home is on a beautiful and clean inland lake. It's a great get away, close to Chicago, but secluded and serene with views of the lake from the entire home. Located directly on Stone Lake, you have shallow water access and a pier (in the summer) to enjoy fishing and swimming on this 177-acre all-sports lake.

Step inside and discover a thoughtfully updated retreat – with a newly remodeled kitchen, new wood floors, and new carpet - designed for comfort and connection. Our 2 distinct family rooms, a conversation/reading nook, two bar areas, and a large dining area offer plenty of room inside to relax and gather. Outdoors, four unique gathering areas—a deck with grill, screened in porch, primary bedroom deck, and walk-out patio—provide inviting settings for every mood and moment. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main level and 4 bedrooms with an additional bathroom downstairs, multiple families or large groups can sleep and stay comfortably.

We love hosting respectful travelers and families. Please note that the home is reserved for the number of guests specified in your booking—no additional visitors or parties allowed. Please maintain reasonable noise levels throughout your stay—this is a quiet, residential setting.

Inland, orchards and wineries dot the countryside, offering fresh produce, award-winning wines, and scenic views. The gorgeous fall leaves and bountiful harvest are all reasons to unwind here.

Whether you are gliding across Stone Lake in a kayak, casting a line from the private dock, or cooling off with a swim, you will find an endless array of adventures and sights to explore, with something for everyone. Watch deer, chipmunks, squirrels, and bunnies roam freely as you relax and take in the natural beauty—perfect for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike. We provide kayaks and water gear, or feel free to bring your boat or jet skis for unlimited water sports. You can launch your own boat at the public access site nearby. Don’t have a boat? Rentals are available from Park Shore Marina (22230 Maple St, Cassopolis, 49031; 269-362-2237) and they will deliver (and return) to the public access boat slip at Stone Lake.

Spring/Summer/Fall Adventures:
Spend sun-drenched days picnicking on the lush, grassy lawn or horseback riding just 10 minutes away. Enjoy Cassopolis’s Beach Bash, Rock the Block Summer Concert Series, and Ghoul’s Night Out. Visit nearby farms and orchards to handpick fresh fruits and vegetables, explore the Thousand Trails Bear Cave and its Tulip Tree, or step back in time touring the historic log cabin museum. Sports fans won’t want to miss the fun of a Notre Dame football game while art lovers can explore The Art Coast® of Michigan Fall Gallery Stroll in Saugatuk.

Hit the slopes at Swiss Valley Ski and Snowboard - just 20 minutes away - or explore snowmobiling trails only 10 minutes from the property. Sled and tube at Warren Dunes State Park; cross-country ski and bike on fat tire bikes at Love Creek County Park; or enjoy the holiday light displays across the region. For indoor activities, catch a comedy show at The Underground Laugh Lounge in Niles, shop at small businesses for locally handmade art and home décor or explore University Park Mall and Eddy Street Commons for boutique and chain-store finds.

Taxes and Fees
Please note we also require the following: a State of Michigan 6% "use tax", a $300 cleaning fee, and a $500 refundable damage deposit. Only one boat allowed to be docked at our pier. No pets allowed.
