In winter, the Goat Creek Nordic Trail runs directly behind the home, offering true ski-in/ski-out access to the Flagg Mountain Loop and the wider Methow Trails system. In every season, large east-facing windows frame views of protected National Forest land. These windows capture the morning sunlight, making them the perfect place to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee or tea while watching the day begin.

Staying here makes it easier to beat the crowds and find parking during peak seasons.
Getting Around: Getting Here: From May to November, the most direct route from Seattle and the west side is via State Route 20 over Washington Pass (check WSDOT for seasonal closures). In winter, alternate routes are via I-90 and Snoqualmie Pass with Blewett Pass, or via Highway 2 over Stevens Pass. Together these form the scenic Cascade Loop. Major airports include Spokane International (180 miles, year-round) and Seattle-Tacoma International (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter).
