Perfect stay

We had a wonderful time (perfect week of weather certainly helped) at White Birch. Three families: six adults and three children under 3, and the house was spacious, especially for sleeping and getting some privacy when desired. The access to the water at the rocky beach was lovely for splashing around, and we spent a lot of time hanging out on the deck with water views. And the location just moments from Stonington was perfect for our needs. This was our third time renting from the Island Agency (and third different house) and we couldn't be happier with their responsive service.

Amazing

We had a wonderful multi- generational family vacation at White Birch. The pictures do not do enough to capture the true beauty of the location and house. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and enjoying family dinners. The house layout offered the ability to be together but also for privacy during downtime. With 7 adults, including a 79 year old, we had plenty of room and everyone was very comfortable. An extra bonus was the fabulous abundant artwork and sculptures everywhere. We really enjoyed the multiple outside seating options with amazing views of the water - the dock is a great addition. Many mornings we had the opportunity to marvel at the amazing view of the sunrise over the water- just incredible. Island Agency was always available for any questions or issues that came up even on weekends and off hours. We have rented many different properties with Island Agency in Stonington over the last 15 years and White Birch is a true gem that we will definitely plan to rent again.

A special space

White Birch is a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath contemporary oceanfront property, beautifully appointed, on Webb Cove in Stonington and one of the best places we've rented in the years we've come to Deer Isle. The main house offered more than enough room for our daughter and family (our granddaughters loved having their own floor and bathroom), and my husband and me. The deck (partly screened in for dinners and games) offer wonderful views of the cove and the outside sculptures of Peter Beerit (of Nervous Nellie's Jams & Jellies -- go visit them!). The master bedroom has its own door to the deck for a morning cup of tea and a book. Kitchen on the main floor is open to the living/dining area and floor-to-ceiling water views. The small unit over the garage offered even more space for future family to join us. We enjoyed our week here and hope to return to this special space.
