Paddock and Paws on Barker: 3-4 blocks to Oaklawn, Downtown, & Majestic Park

We welcome guests to come enjoy our home and our love for the horse races, and our four legged friends and all of the beauty hot springs has to offer. Two bedroom remodeled 1920s cottage that is a few blocks from Oaklawn Racing and Casino. Walking distance to Bathhouse Row Downtown and the Farmers Market, along with great location for baseball and softball tournaments at Majestic Park (3 blocks away). In addition, our location can get you to the convention center quick for volleyball & basketball tournaments.

Beautiful original hardwood floors. Updated kitchen has all the amenities you will want or need, along with traditonal coffee maker and a Keurig. Both bedrooms feature queen beds with their own ensuites and a queen sleeper will keep you comfortable along with 4 smart TVS a 65" inch picture tv in the lounge area as well as a 55" inch picture Tv in the living area with 40 inch tvs in each bedroom.
Both bathrooms have been completely remodeled with custom tiled showers and one with a tub, along with new vanities. Laundry facility with washer and dryer. There are two living room/lounge areas one with a shuffleboard. There is an Outdoor area for entertaining with a fire pit with a rock patio, charcoal grill, and completely fenced in back yard that will be completed before the end of October. Parking for two vehicles in the driveway, driveway is shared but the driveway adjacent to the home will hold two larger vehicles. Pets care welcome with prior approval and non-refundable pet deposit.

Our stay at the Paddock and Paws were perfect. The street and neighborhood is very quiet and in a good location. It was perfect for two couples. Each bedroom has their own en-suite bathroom. We will definitely stay again. The owner was quick to answer questions Thursday before we checked in.

Nice place! Everything was as we needed! Located in the middle of town with a very short distance to the main strip and food. Appreciated the availability of a kennel for our dog and the fenced in back yard! Would stay again! Communication was great!

We stayed here while in town for a softball tournament at Majestic Park. The owners out did themselves with this adorable place. They have thought of everything and more. The beds were comfortable, the linens were soft, and the whole house was so cozy with plenty of space. Would absolutely stay here again!

The look was very modern and pretty. The shuffleboard was a lot of fun. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were full and didn't go flat like other places when you lay you head down. There was awesome water pressure in the shower. Everything was so clean and smelt nice. We had two cars that fit perfectly in the parking next to the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with great spices that was awesome for us because we did some cooking. They also had a large selection of coffees to choose from. There is a really good Mexican restaurant about a block or two from the house. Also, downtown was just a short 5-10 minute drive. I guess if I had to pick anything to complain about, it would be that one of the people staying there had issues with the door (that could have been user issues though). Overall, the cleanliness, location and comfort was absolutely wonderful!!

We had a wonderful stay at Paddock and Paws on Barker. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were newly remodeled and were very nice as well. Our little cavapoo enjoyed running around in the fully fenced backyard. The host also offered dog crates for guests to use. This was handy because our travel crate was very small. Our kids enjoyed the shuffle board in one of the living rooms. The large TVs were also very nice. The dryer was very loud and we were not able to put anything in the dryer before we went to bed. We could not figure out why it was making so much noise. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything and more that we needed for our 3 night stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful! We are looking forward to coming back and staying at Paddock and Paws on Barker. Thank you for sharing your lovely rental with us.

Thank you very much for staying and your review. You are not wrong with the dryer, we are waiting for the drum kit to be repaired for the dryer with our home warranty (been waiting for over a week). We apologize that it wasn’t repaired before your stay.

This was a great place from which to enjoy the experiences Hot Springs has to offer. It is located a short distance from the National Park. We took a couple trips to nearby state parks and to Little Rock. The home has recently benefitted from some remodeling and has all of the modern conveniences you would hope for and was also decorated for the holidays. This is a cute 2 bedroom home with a full kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has all of the things you could need to make meals there. The two bedrooms each with a TV also have their own updated bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was well stocked - lots of towels and supplies. We traveled with our dog. The property is dog friendly and has a fenced rear yard. There were also toys for the dog. There was also two crates in the house if you had to leave your pup home alone - though we did not need them. The owners were very engaging and communicative leading up to our arrival. We got responses to our messages promptly, though we had no problems at all. Go for it - you will enjoy this place!!

We are excited to host you our names are Jacob and Brooke Spielbauer. Jacob is chair of athletics as LSMSA in Natitoches, and I work as a nurse practitioner specializing in wound care Aesthetics and family practice. We reside in Shreveport LA full time, but have two homes here in hot springs and love the area.

Location is great proximity to all of our favorite spots whether you want to be near the horse track and casino or close to Majestic Park or even downtown.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We love our fur babies and being out doors so we have fenced in yard coming prior to first rentals as well as a shuffleboard table and two lounge areas with large picture TVs so you can watch sports if you so choose on different stations at the same time.
