My husband and I typically use VRBO because we’ve always been able to rely on the property descriptions and prices. No surprises, and this trip was no exception. This was an in-town stay, as our house needed extensive electrical work, and the power would be off for 2 to 3 days, This necessitated relocating ourselves *and* the contents of our fridge.I reserved the Tranquil Treehouse primarily because of its location & description. The house lived up to everything that we expected. It is in the middle of a neighborhood, but standing on the back deck, you might feel as if you were in the middle of the woods. The house is covered in Confederate Jessamine, which makes the view out the windows very dappled. The backyard is almost a riot of hydrangeas, vines, and formal and informal plantings that connect three adjoining yards. The bird songs and crickets in the evenings made sitting on the back deck very serene. There is a lovely New Orleans style front porch where you can take in morning coffee. The Treehouse is well appointed, with a well-stocked kitchen, tons of towels, very soft bedding, and a decent sized living room with a small dining area off to the side. The full-sized fridge was critical to our trip, Mr. Cromer was promptly responsive to calls or texts. It was also nice to see and chat with him in mornings or evenings as he tended to his gardens, or prepared to do his outreach work.My husband and I felt very welcomed. I would definitely recommend this property.
