Welcome to Enchanted Cove where the forest meets the sea.This charming cottage has large firs and cedars and a skillfully terraced yard with trails that stair-step you right to your private and secluded beach on Sequim Bay.Each terraced area has a deck where you can view the water and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine.This home is walking distance to Sequim Bay State Park, Discovery Trail which will allow you to hike or bike, all the way to Port Angeles, so bring your bikes along.
This home features two comfortable bedrooms – one with a queen bed, the other with bunk beds (a double and two twins). The total occupancy is six people. There is one full bath with a tub/shower combination and a half bath. Also a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an espresso machine, and all sorts of gadgets available to whip up a tasty meal. The large dining table offers plenty of space for leisurely meals, board games and puzzles. There is a 55” streaming-TV in the living room, and another TV in the bedroom with the bunkbeds.
The back door leads to the trails, beach, and hot tub. What could be better than a nice soak in the hot tub while admiring the view?
Why this location and home? Beachfront prime real estate, need we say more? Not to mention Sequim is truly a hidden gem. No matter the weather or season you visit, you are sure to find yourself on an adventure!
While this is a new listing, this home is a well-established and much-loved vacation rental. We’re committed to providing our guests with exceptional comfort, care, and hospitality.
Please note: We love animals, but this home is not pet-friendly to help keep it allergy-safe for all guests.
*There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*
-Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. Direct bookings (website): 4% fee. This fee covers third-party processing costs and is not retained by us. Thank you for understanding!
-Please attend to all children when around the water. We recommend use of life vests for children and non-swimmers. Always swim with others around for safety purposes. Swimming is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to insure your safety and the safety of those in your party.
- Maximum number of guests not to exceed 6.
- No pets
- Only use fire pit if you have adequate experience. Use of the fire pit, is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the firepit – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters, Duraflame Logs, and this goes for the fire pit as well.
- Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.
- Children and infants are welcome; however, the property is not child-proofed. We do not provide baby gates, outlet covers, cabinet locks, corner guards, or other child-safety items. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times and ensuring their safety during the stay.
- Be a good neighbor. No trespassing onto neighboring properties.
- This house uses a septic system; ONLY toilet paper can be flushed.
- Because we keep our home sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in the hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
- We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in the house.
- Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.
- No illegal drugs allowed.
- Please be respectful of our neighbors. You`d be surprised how sound travels through the forest, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.
- Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.
- No smoking of anything allowed indoors, smoke it outside please.
- We are honored you decided to choose The Enchanted Cove, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. Any such behavior will result in immediate removal from the property.
- Want to stay an extra hour or so? Should be fine but requires approval, let us know in advance.
- Please stay out of storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.
- PARKING – Parking is limited to 4 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. Any illegally parked cars in the community are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the cabin.
- Check-out: Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise talked about with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.
-We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.
-Please do not play with or tamper with the decorations on walls or shelfs. These are for guests to enjoy, not for play.
-PERSONAL ITEMS
Please check the home for any of your personal items left behind. It is extra work for our cleaners to gather the items, take them to the post office and ship them. For any items left behind we are happy to mail them out however there will be a $50 charge to pay for our time.
- Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to Enchanted Cove.
- Hot Tub: Please enjoy the hot tub. No horse playing which includes whirlpooling, MAX 6 people in the tub at one time, do not sit on the edges, no food, no glass in or around the tub, kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or someone over the age of 18. No one wants to bathe with you so please shower prior to use. Use is at your own risk, please exercise caution when entering, exiting, & using the tub.
- Violations of these rules can result in additional fees or immediate cancellation of your reservation and removal from the property without refund.
License to Occupy Only; No Landlord-Tenant Relationship.
Guest acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement creates a revocable license to occupy the Property for transient lodging purposes only. This Agreement is not a lease, does not convey any real-property interest, and does not create a landlord-tenant relationship under any state or local law.
Primary Guest Responsible for All Occupants.
The individual who books the reservation (“Primary Guest”) hereby accepts full legal and financial responsibility for (a) themselves, (b) all other guests, occupants, invitees, visitors, or persons allowed onto the Property (“Additional Guests”), regardless of whether such persons have signed this Agreement. Primary Guest represents and warrants that all Additional Guests shall comply with all rules, policies, and terms of this Agreement. Any breach of this Agreement by an Additional Guest shall be deemed a breach by the Primary Guest.
Indemnification and Hold Harmless.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Guest and all Additional Guests shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Property Manager, and their respective members, officers, employees, agents, and contractors (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, fines, penalties, attorney fees, or costs arising out of or related to:
(a) Guest’s or any Additional Guest’s use or occupancy of the Property;
(b) violations of this Agreement or House Rules;
(c) personal injury, death, or property damage occurring on or about the Property;
(d) actions or omissions of Additional Guests, invitees, or third parties allowed onto the Property.
This indemnity applies even if only the Primary Guest executes this Agreement.
