Great house! Great location!

We are a family of 8 and we had the best time in DC while we were there! The house was great and we would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a place to stay in the city!!

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Nice neighborhood.. The owner was great to deal with. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent choice for accommodations in Washington, D.C.

We had a lovely weekend in D.C. at this beautiful property. Professional, friendly hosts with a lovely home in a great location. Property was clean, furnished comfortably with everything we needed and conveniently located. This will be my first choice on our next trip to D.C.!

4th of July visit 2016

Beautiful 3 bedroom home in a great location. The owners were very helpful by providing information about places to eat, the metro and places to visit. We would go back and stay at this wonderful Rowhome.

Marine Corps Marathon Fam Vacay

We so enjoyed our stay! We had 3 adults and 5 children and we were very comfortable at Vernon and Ashley's place. Very clean and comfortable. Very convenient to the bus routes which made navigating the city a breeze. There are coffee shops and restaurants a short walk from the house. I highly recommend staying here!

Our Great Washington Stay

We are a group of 3 couples visiting your beautiful capital city. The rowhome is very close to all the Washington attractions, we were able to walk to most of them. The master bedroom is spacious and the other two bedrooms were more than adequate for couples. The off street parking was very handy as we had two cars and parking on the street is very limited.Our hosts made our stay very easy.

Great Property

Property was exactly as listed. Location was great and close to everything. We used Lyft daily and usually walked our way back to house. Kitchen was well stocked and linens too. Only suggestion would be an additional TV in master bedroom. Thank you for such a great place to stay while touring DC.

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Vernon was an excellent host and has a wonderful home that fit my wife and myself and my 2 children, as well as my parents comfortably. The off street parking is fabulous and we were able to fit 2 SUV's so we didn't have to worry about finding parking on the street. All 3 beds are very comfortable and high quality linens provided. They have a wonderful old home that has been renovated nicely. Easy access to DC sightseeing via Uber. Thanks Vernon!

Nice place, would recommend

We booked the home for our family vacation. All in all it was nice. I am a bit of a clean nut, so a few things bothered me. The home did not seem to have been vacuumed before we came. The carpet was stained in a few areas. Then the dishwasher was not the most spectacular at cleaning the dishes. But for the most part it was clean. The walk to Union Station is a bit long but not bad. It was good exercise. The 2 car parking was VERY nice. We liked the fact there was a washer and dryer. Space was definitely not an issue. We could all come home and go our separate directions to relax. The three bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The closet and dresser space was good. I would recommend this home.

Great Stay!

We spent 4 nights at the property and it was great. House was spacious, clean and comfortable and the parking was a HUGE plus! Stores and restaurants close by but most require a drive which involved finding street parking which could be tricky but coming back home to have a spot was great. When going to tour the sites and museums, we found Ubering was the best way to go...Super convenient and in most cases, less expensive then parking. **NOTE: If you or anyone you are traveling with watches TV or plans to hook up a video game system, there is only 1 TV in the house and it is in the den. This was a bit problematic for us as we were traveling with 2 teens who, in our downtime, wanted to watch TV or play their video game(s) (and they play 2 different systems) and we also all like to watch TV before falling asleep. Shouldn't be a dealbreaker as the house was great but I think it is important for prospective renters to know :)

Perfect location and wonderful property!

We had a wonderful trip to DC, which was to take my father to the Vietnam Memorial on Veteran's Day, and this property made it extra special! The location was a perfect home base for everything DC has to offer. Quick trip to the museums and National Mall and great starting out point for our day trips to Arlington and Charlottesville. Having off street parking was so great! The home is comfortable and spacious and we will absolutely stay again when we return. Thanks so much!

Speaking at Gallaudet

Our family came to DC to give a speech at Gallaudet, and this was the perfect location. Halfway between the University and the mall. This house was perfect for our family.

Great for families!

Beautiful, spotless property. A quick uber to everywhere! And the owner, Vernon, answered all questions quickly. He even offered to bring us a wine bottle opener when we had trouble finding one (we found it!) Will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Walking distance to Capital

Nicely located and clean. Walking distance to Eastern Market and Capital, also H street. Worked out well for our family of 6 to visit the sites. Owner was helpful and very accommodating.

Beautiful and Sparkling Clean With All the Comforts of Home

Vernon was a wonderful host. He was very helpful in answering questions before our stay regarding check - in procedures. Vernon's home was the perfect setting for our large combined family of seven! The house was impeccably clean and welcomed us with the amenities of home; coffee, cooking essentials, and the softest most comfortable beds! The check in/check out procedures were very easy as well. We loved the location of the property; within walking distance to the grocery store, coffee shops, and metro. It was a great place for the cousins to visit and enjoy each other's company! I would highly recommend staying in Vernon and Ashley's beautiful and comfortable home!

Perfect property and location for a DC sightseeing visit.

Our group is a family of six. Vernon's property was the perfect size and location for our visit for sightseeing DC. This is a welcoming property with lots of room for up to eight. On site parking is a great amenity. Surrounding neighborhood is safe and filled with everything you will need for a great visit. Vernon is a great guy and even better property owner. We had one small issue the first day. Vernon solved the problem during the day while we were seeing the sights. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. FYI- be aware of the DC Circulator bus service. Great transportation and cheap.

perfect location & free parking

We (three couples) loved both the property & the location. We arrived by car, 4 of us from NC & 2 from CT. Having on site parking made it very convenient for us. During our 4 day stay, we looked forward each afternoon to returning to a very comfortable home for some rest & wine before dinner. The location was perfect for the activities we were interested in. Easy walking distance to the Capital, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, etc. And when we didn't want to walk, UBER was at our door. Vernon was a pleasure to deal with. If we had a question or issue in the house, it was answered or solved immediately. We would certainly come back for a future DC visit & recommend it to or friends.

Great house

Great house. Neighborhood felt safe. Would recommend this to any one staying in the DC area. Right at a mile to a lot of attractions including Union Station. If you’ve never been to DC check out the circulator bus line.

Wonderful

Perfect place to stay for eight women in their mid 40s celebrating our “girls weekend“. Plenty of room for all eight of us and beautiful as well. Perfect location within walking distance or an easy Uber ride to anything. The Whole Foods store only a couple of blocks away. The owner was very helpful to our needs, including telling us of a great bakery for a small baby shower we were holding for one of our ladies. Would highly recommend and hope to come back ourselves!

Great place for family trip

Our family all enjoyed this lovely home. It is super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The owner was so sweet and prepared some desert for our boys. It is close to public transportation as well.

Clean and roomy, excellent location!

We stayed here for an extended weekend, Thurs to Mon and we loved it. Parked the car out back and didn't get back in til we had to leave! Plenty of spots to walk or bike to, and easy enough to catch an Uber or cab to start your day of exploration. We would love to come back!

WONDERFUL, GREAT

Our stay at 421 10th St. NE was GREAT. Great location. Great air conditioning. Great space. Great hosts(Vernon&Ashley). Great coat rack in hallway! Great 3bdrm, 2+half baths. Great beds(comfy!). I guess everything was just great!! Hosts are very helpful. Eating in or out choices were many and close by and yummy!! This house was the best thing about our visit....will stay here again and tell our friends!! Thanks for everything!
