This very smart Parisian studio is located in the very centre of Paris, in a typical Parisian building from the late XIXth century. In front of the Sorbonne University of Paris, five minutes walk away from the Jardin du Luxembourg, Notre-Dame, the Institute du Monde Arabe, the Boulevard Saint-Michel and Place Maubert, in the heart of the Latine Quarter of Paris. The Seine River, in wich Notre-Dame reflects, is 5 minutes walk away, as the Pantheon on the Sainte-Genevieve Hill, where Voltaire and Rousseau are burried.

Tuesdays and Saturdays, the open market takes place on the Place Maubert, with all french food specialities. Every kind of shops throughout the week : supermarket until midnight 3 minutes walk away, pharmacy until 9 pm, 3 minutes walk away, delicatessen shop, butcher, pastry and bakery, dairy (with almost the 365 french different sorts of cheese !), wine merchant, restaurateur, florist, best bookstores 3 minutes walk away, etc, etc.

This bright and sunny flat is located on the 6th floor (American 7th). The lift takes you to the 5th floor (American 6th) and there is one more flight of stairs to walk. Double-glazed windows and rolling shutters protect you from light and noise during the night.

The Quartier Latin is is a very safe area, with a direct connection to both Parisian airports Charles de Gaulle (40 minutes by train) and Orly (40 minutes by train) from the station Saint Michel, 5 minutes walk away. There are 4 more metro stations around (Cluny-Sorbonne, Odéon, Maubert-Mutualité, Jussieu) connecting to 5 metro lines (RER B and C, lines 4, 7 and 10). 4 buses stop in front of the house, and within five minutes you can reach 10 other bus lines leading to all parts of Paris. Two metro stations from the Musée d'Orsay, direct bus to Louvres Museum, direct to Versailles Castle by metro, only one change to Disneyland Paris, etc. etc.

If you prefer to ride, there are 4 public bicycles (Velib') stations all around (two minutes walk). Taxi station 3 minutes walk away. You could also use the new public electric cars, available in two station down the house, or even take a boat on the Seine River, in front of Notre-Dame, 5 minutes walk away.

Concerning restaurants and night life, not leaving the area, you can choose to spend an evening at the famous cabaret Paradis Latin, experiencing all the types of restaurants Paris may offer, from boat on the Seine, to bistrots and fine restaurants, lots of picture theater, the Public Odeon Theater, etc. etc. The Quartier Latin and Saint Severin district, as the Place de la Contrescarpe will offer the most animated atmosphere, night and day.

The studio is situated in the angle of the house, with two very nice typical balconies, providing for the most amazing views, where you could have breakfast or diner. So it is very bright and sunny, completely refurnished and comfortable, with air-conditioning, a complete kitchen, dishwasher, microwawe oven, washing machine and clothes dryer, very up-to-date furniture and decoration.

A separate bathroom, very bright too, thanks to its Parisian roof window, is well equipped, with Italian shower, hair dryer, towel dryer.

You will find in the fridge on arrival, everything you need for a French breakfast : jams, fresh bread, croissants, butter, milk, orange juice, yogurth, mineral water, coffee, tea.
