This rare Italianate-style 1884 built home was stripped to the walls for a total interior re-design and modernization.

The structure boasts 3-sided turret window bays, intricate brick work, high ceilings and a beautiful redwood deck with magnificent views of downtown.

Located near the 5-Points/Curtis Park historic district, it sits just 4 blocks from the Central Business District and just over 2 blocks from the light rail station. Just a 15 minute walk to the 16th street mall makes all of lower downtown easily accessible.

A perfect stay for anyone attending events at the Denver Convention Center - ride the light rail right to the front door!

Prominent antique features highlight the interior design, such as stained glass windows and unique decorative stair guard of a historic Larimer Square railroad building. Marble tile salvaged from the Brown Palace Hotel adorns the bathroom floor and walls.

A thoughtful marriage of modern design with vintage accents, the renovation involved painstaking restoration of original vintage trim work to complement contemporary features.

The unit is a private up-stairs apartment in a duplex. The entire apartment is on a single floor, with a private entrance from the outdoors that opens to steps leading to the upper floor level. There are no shared interior spaces.

This apartment is configured, furnished and supplied for short-term rental. All aspects of the apartment and rental experience is reflected in this endeavor.

Please note that kitchen cabinets and living room armoire are in use for owner's supplies and not available for guest storage. Pantry is available for Guest's food and goods storage sufficient for short-term stays.


The owner is licensed by the City and County of Denver (No. 2016-BFN-0008672) and State of Colorado to conduct short-term rental as a holder of the Lodger's Tax License and Sales Tax License. License is required to conduct any rental for overnight accommodation of less than 30 nights duration.

Please know that any party conducting a overnight accommodation of duration less than 30 nights is expected to charge tax of 10.75% for accommodations within the City and County of Denver, and a minimum 2.9% for those within Colorado.

Revenue collected from taxes are vital for support of infrastructure, travel and tourism services. Please support rentals that in turn support the City & State.

Convenient stay in a Victorian home w/character

Gary was a consummate host.. very responsive and detailed I his instructions. My boyfriend and I stayed in Denver for 3 days, and this home was a nice base for us in a central location. We enjoy staying in old homes when we travel, and the second floor of this Victorian home was pleasant.

Amazing location, great space!

We stayed for a month and had a fantastic time. Walkable to so many local attractions and the host was very responsive and available for any needs. The place was clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. Would recommend and stay again.

We found the property to be excellent. All was as indicated in the published description and prior reviews. Gary was responsive in a flash for a minor issue with the Wi-Fi. Had some unseasonably cold weather during the visit and the apartment was quite cozy. We recommend this property highly.

delightfully charming and well-organized

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our two-night stay at this property. I especially appreciated how well-organized items are throughout the apartment, and I was delighted by the beautiful, large plants. The views from the kitchen and the back deck are amazing, and the neighborhood was charming and felt very safe. I highly recommend this rental.

Denver hip!

Gary’s apartment was situated in a great neighborhood that gave us easy access to the hippest parts of Denver. Lots of fun restaurants, bars and micro-breweries. He had everything we needed and more. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Spot!

We loved our stay! The location was great...everything we needed was close. Easy walk to restaurants, downtown, baseball stadium and easy jumping off point to head into the mountains. The deck was perfect and made the apartment feel bigger than it is. We’ve lived in smaller, so this was good for us. Great kitchen! Definitely recommend and would for sure stay again

Beautifully updated in a safe, convenient neighborhood walking distance to 16th Street Mall

Nice! Perfect place and location to unwind and relax while staying in Denver! Gary has put ALOT of TLC in this property and it shows. Speaker system throughout even on the beautiful, private deck overlooking downtown! Steam shower was super nice! Price was right and Gary was easy to work with and had detailed directions for everything! If you are looking for convenience in a clean, nicely updated place then book now!!!

Excellent place in quiet neighborhood in downtown Denver

Great place to stay for access for exciting Denver downtown activities. Comfortable, quiet, clean, great terrace on back with cooling trees and barbecue. Kitchen well fitted with tools and space to work. Separate desk area for laptop and easy internet access. Entertainment system works very well. On-street parking easy, day or night. Will return for longer stays.

Great experience! Home away from home.

The property was exactly how it is described in the listing. Walking distance to 16th street mall, union station, Coors baseball field and so much more. Red Rock Mountain and Amphitheater was a 20 min drive. We absolutely loved the pedicab ride with Hot Dog, awesome tour of the city. Mr. Gary is very friendly and kind. The apartment made our stay feel like a home away from home. If we come back to Denver, definitely staying here again.

Beautiful 1 BR apartment

Loved this 1 BR apartment with private entrance. Gary was the so thorough with information and always helpful . Location was close to downtown. I didn't give 5 stars because front porch needs some paint and sprucing up; could also use 3 more wash cloths.Otherwise, it was wonderful!

Fantastic luxury flat close to everything!

The flat is small but beautifully decorated and organized. It was perfect for two people, with room for a child or two if necessary. Everything we needed was within a short drive, with groceries and a couple of restaurants within walking or scooter distance. The email from the owner with check in and check out info was perfectly clear and made everything simple. The steam shower was luxurious, and the deck off the bedroom was fantastic - the perfect place for morning coffee or a glass of wine and a good book. The small space is well laid out, with plenty of individual areas for different purposes. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary to cook, and save money on meals out. Best of all, the flat was half the price of a sponsor hotel for the pop culture con, with the privacy and quiet of home!

I am a second-generation Italian-American Denver native raised in Denver's North Berkley neighborhood.

I have a background in civil engineering and worked by profession as a Geographic Information Specialist in Asia for 15 years. After returning to the US I embarked on a 3-year, painstaking renovation of the Tremont Place House.

From my time overseas I gained an appreciation for Asian style and art, which is reflected in my home renovation design and decor.

I treasure Denver's old neighborhoods and beautiful home architecture, which was a driving force in the passionate restoration this house.

I have a connection to the neighborhood from my childhood, from the time I would play in the back-yard of my Aunt's Curtis Park home just blocks away.
