Discover the beauty of Santa Barbara from this charming 4-bedroom house. With 1 full bed, 2 queen beds, and 1 twin bed, guests will find a cozy retreat to relax after a day of exploring. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC, fitness equipment, washer/dryer, and hair dryer. The 2 bathrooms feature showers. The main bath boasts a large spa-like setting with heated floor and multiple shower heads including a rain shower. Two leather futons open into queen beds to provide additional sleeping options in the living room.

Our 9000 square foot property is still in it's original configuration. A flagstone patio with table and chairs is available to our guests. The large yard with the barbecue is a part of the rental space. Enjoy the mature trees, flowers and birds in our spacious backyard, Make use of the barbecue and tables, chairs and umbrella's as you enjoy the constant breeze and singing birds. Coffee and sandwich shops, as well as McConnell's Ice Cream, are within a block and a half of Mission Gardens. You are eight beautiful blocks away from Alice Keck Park and Kids World Park. Another couple of blocks and you are in downtown Santa Barbara with restaurants, shops, and entertainment on every block. Groundskeeper is on location—the outbuildings; the casitas, garage, and shed are not part of the rental.

Early check-in may be available upon request. Guests should contact the host if they would like to check in early. A Property Fee of $75 will apply for check-ins between noon and 3PM, subject to availability.

I truly had a wonderful stay ! The place was clean and air conditioning was on before we got there, which was very much appreciated. It was close to the beach and everything we wanted to do ! Great location. The house was very comfortable and cozy. The host was communicative and the parking was easy. Easy house rules and check out instructions. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

The house was clean but the check in directions were inaccurate and the house was 80 degrees so we had to turn on the AC and leave for a bit while the house cooled. It was great place to stay if you are out and about all weekend, we didn’t spend much time at the house it was just a place to sleep

Thank you, Marissa, for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. I apologize that you were inadvertently sent our previous check-in instructions, from before we changed to the keypad system. I’m glad we were able to correct that as soon as you contacted us, and the instructions have now been updated. I’ve also asked our property manager to ensure the A/C is set to a comfortable temperature before guests arrive. The newer system cools the house quickly, but we understand that it should feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. We appreciate your comments and hope you enjoyed your weekend in Santa Barbara!

Cozy and clean four bedroom home in Santa Barbara is close to everything.There are three beds that two people could share and one twin. Also two futons in the living room. Two full bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room.There was a Nespresso, Water filter, parking, and backyard patio area.Easy to access via the alley and door code.Air conditioning worked well.Kitchen has salt/pepper/olive oil/tea. No coffee provided. Plenty of paper goods, TP.We had a group of women and really enjoyed our stay.The area is very safe and walkable.There were only two minor issues we encountered: the property only has 4 chairs in the dining room and no other chairs to pull in. Secondly buy a bag of ice because there is no ice maker or ice trays.

Super cute and cozy. Everything was easily communicated. The place is a perfect location to everything around Santa Barbara. 7 minute drive to downtown. Super easy check out and not a long list of clean up chores to do when leaving which we loved!

Overall place was clean and was the cheapest found in Santa Barbara. The property seems to double as an old folks home. Lots of Lysol, wheelchairs, and handicap accessible showers and ramps.

It is a spacious house and although it looks like newly painted, some areas needs cleaning and updating. Had a musty smell and back yard was not really usable, lots of wheelchairs and the table and chairs that were there were old and torn.VERY difficult finding the location. No numbers on side entrance or back gate where we should park. Wasn't able to get in touch with Lisa or property manager until much later in the day.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad you found the home spacious and enjoyed the fresh updates. We do want to address a few of your concerns, as they’re important to us and to future guests. The home is professionally cleaned between each stay, and as a newer property, moisture-related issues are not typical. That said, we take any comment about odor seriously and will be doing an additional review with our cleaning team to ensure everything is meeting our standards. Regarding the outdoor area, the property does sit among beautiful mature trees, which can occasionally result in natural debris—especially during windy periods. The yard is maintained and cleaned between guests, and in response to your feedback, we are also adding new cushions to the outdoor furniture to further enhance comfort and presentation. You may have noticed our neighboring property, which is a small senior care home we operate. There is a storage shed on-site, and we identified that a wheelchair had been left outside during your stay—this has since been addressed and stored properly. We also appreciate your note about signage. We’ve now installed clear and visible address numbers on the gate to make arrival much easier for future guests. Lastly, we always encourage guests to reach out during their stay if anything feels off—we’re very responsive and would have welcomed the opportunity to address these items for you in real time. Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us continue to improve and provide the best possible experience.

Definitely not luxury, but very clean inside and comfortable for sleeping. AC works well. Pleasantly large living room. Good shower and bathroom facilities. Other than the coffee pot/coffee, a well equipped kitchen. Even salt and pepper and a few spices. Subject to the below, quite good.On the negative side, accrss to the unit is very difficult to find, and the instructions were woefully inadequate. Others have made the same comment and it would be quite easy for the owner/manager to provide a detailed description, perhaps including a map of how to get to it. It is via a tiny inconspicuous alley. Also, we were not provided with proper access information until the very last minute, despite repeated requests. (We were actually given outdated instructions in a desperate call to Vrbo) This was quite stressful, as we were concerned we would not be able to get into the unit and have to find a hotel with enough space for a number of people, at considerable expense. Manager did not email three days before as promised. Likewise, the Wi-Fi password was incorrect—call to the manager was responded to the next day.The furniture and its arrangement is bizarre. The small bedroom is quite tiny. Most of the beds do not have bedside tables. The coffee maker is a “Nespresso” that requires unique pods and only one coconut flavor coffee pod was provided. Not good. A standard coffee maker and paper filters should be provided. Would rent far less elsewhere.

We’re pleased that you found the home clean and comfortable and enjoyed the spacious living room, effective air conditioning, bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. We sincerely apologize for the stress surrounding your arrival. The home is set back from the street and can be accessed through either of two narrow alleyways, which are easy to miss. You also received outdated entry information, and we understand how concerning that must have been. We have now created a marked aerial map showing both access routes and the designated parking area, and we are ensuring that guests receive it along with updated keypad and Wi-Fi information before arrival. We take guest feedback seriously and act on it promptly. Based on your helpful comments, we are also replacing the Nespresso machine with a standard coffee maker and providing regular coffee for our guests. Thank you for helping us improve the experience for future visitors.

The neighborhood has become a hub for medical professionals because of its close proximity to the hospitals, clinics, and care centers throughout the area. It’s quiet, safe, and incredibly practical: close to downtown, beaches, major bus lines, bike paths, cafés, and the broader medical community, while still maintaining a relaxed residential environment.

Parking is simple and convenient — an open lot behind the home fits up to four vehicles with easy access from either alley. What truly sets the property apart is the overall environment: a peaceful, connected block with a genuine neighborhood feel and just minutes from the medical community and downtown Santa Barbara.
