Lazy Days Retreat is a cozy mountain cabin located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay, offering year-round mountain and pasture views, privacy, and the perfect place to slow down and unwind. This comfortable and family-friendly cabin features an open living area with wood-beam ceilings, a real wood-burning fireplace, large picture windows, and comfortable seating. The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, utensils, and a dining table for four. The cabin offers three bedrooms: an upstairs private suite with a double bed, ensuite bathroom, and private deck, plus two main-floor bedrooms with queen beds. Two full bathrooms make the layout ideal for families or groups. Outdoor living includes a screened-in back porch with beautiful views, a BBQ grill, and a private fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Dogs are welcome, and the cabin includes pet-friendly touches. Modern amenities include high-speed internet, smart TVs, washer and dryer, central heating and air conditioning, and ample parking. The location provides easy access to top attractions, including the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, apple orchards in Ellijay, Lake Blue Ridge for boating and kayaking, Rich Mountain Wilderness and Aska Trails for hiking, and nearby vineyards such as Chateau Meichtry and Cartecay. Beautiful cabin with AWESOME views! Cabin has everything you may need for your stay! Only complaints are the beds are VERY FIRM and the road leading to the cabin is in needed of repair. Definitely will stay at this cabin again for our next trip to Blue ridge!

There’s so many great things to say about this property, our stay and the host but I’ll keep it short. The host was incredible and I typically don’t book trips my wife does 90% of the time and out of all the trips this one was at the top. The property is beautiful, very clean and we highly recommend a stay here. We liked the area so much that we are now lookin for a second home here. The stay was wonderful with it being right off a main road, a beautiful ride in and only 15 mins in either direction to two great towns!

The cabin is decorated beautifully! It is located in a very quiet area. The Sommar, our host, was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. We very much enjoyed our time at the cabin and sitting on the screened in back porch! Thank you Sommar for a wonderful week away from the everyday crazy.

Beautiful cabin with plenty of amenities and a gorgeous view! Everything was clean and tidy - we loved it! My only complaint was the mattresses were VERY firm. Overall, fantastic and will ne returning when we visit our family in Georgia!

House was beautiful. Everything needed was there as far as amenities. Beautiful scene from both the decks. More beautiful on top deck. Very spacious. The bathrooms were my favorite part of the house. Very large with stand up showers. Only concerns was the road going up the hill, needs some repairs.

The Cabin was absolutely precious - so cozy & comfortable. It was the perfect combination of cabin vibes & modern kitchen & baths. The decor was on point - it was perfect for the mountain cabin experience. We had everything we needed for cooking, playing games, reading…..many, many cozy places to curl up. The check-in & check-out was seamless. The host was available & highly interested in our comfort.

A lovely relaxing stay in a cozy, warm welcoming spacious cabin. Great location, only a few miles from the highway so shopping/eateries nearby, but total privacy and feels very remote. There are many trails and hikes within a 30 min drive radius of the cabin. The small towns of Blue Ridge and Ellijay are only 10 mins drive.The cabin is exactly like the photos and immaculately clean (thank you Ashley). Lots of kitchenware with some basic cooking condiments.Sommer is an amazing host and replies to any questions almost immediately and our stay was during the USA wide polar arctic storm, she was in constant contact and any issues were resolved quickly.If we ever return to Georgia, we would definitely return here to this lovely cabin.

Host was very inattentive, no communication prior to arrival. Had to contact VRBO for entry. House rules include the guest doing laundry of linens prior to departure. She now wants me to pay for trash that was left in the trash bin prior to our arrival because it wasn’t in a trash bag. Do not believe the part of “all fees included” on her ad. The sofa smells like dog. Do not recommend.

We take every review seriously and feel it’s important to clarify a few points for future guests. VRBO automatically sends the door access code three days prior to arrival as part of their standard operating procedure. This code was sent in advance. On the day of check-in, when you reached out asking for it, I responded promptly, let you know that VRBO had already provided it, and included the code again in my reply to ensure you had easy access. After that message, we did not receive any further communication from you during your stay. We are proudly a pet-friendly cabin, and the majority of our guests bring their pets. Our listing clearly states that we welcome animals, so there are no surprises in that regard. Regarding the additional charges: all standard fees are included upfront. However, as clearly outlined in our VRBO listing and posted visibly inside the cabin, there are specific rules regarding trash disposal and property care. Unfortunately, there was a significant violation of those posted rules, and we have photo documentation of the condition in which the garbage was left. Additional fees are only assessed when house rules are not followed. We have been hosting for six years and have welcomed hundreds of wonderful guests who treat our cabin with care and respect. It is always disappointing when the property is not left in the condition outlined in our clearly posted guidelines. We remain committed to providing a clean, welcoming, and transparent experience

Everything was nice and clean and exactly as described. They had everything we needed for grilling and cooking inside already there. Sommar the host was super nice and made communication easy! The views from the cabin are beautiful and the surrounding area is very peaceful. All the fun activities you'll want to do like hiking, shopping, and eating are within about a 15 minute drive. Overall a great experience and we highly recommend it!
