Hands down the best decision I made when booking our trip to Switzerland was this home. It was beyond expectations and was so much more than we could have asked. The location is incredible, peaceful and idillic. The house is clean and incredible place to rest after a long journey. Right away when booking Oliver went out of his way to answer questions and make the whole process delightful. We have three small children and it was plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable and for them to run around through the fields outside. I will forever treasure our time in this home and could not speak more highly about it and about Oliver.

Fantastic family stay – highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay at this holiday home with our family. From the moment we arrived, we were so impressed by how spotlessly clean and well-maintained everything was. The rooms are incredibly large and spacious, offering absolutely beautiful views that we loved waking up to.The host was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and supportive throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. We also fell in love with the interior design—the decorations and thoughtful details throughout the home made it feel incredibly cozy and high-end.Every single amenity and tool you could possibly need for a comfortable stay was fully provided. On top of that, the location is perfect: a peaceful spot that is just a convenient 10-minute walk to the center. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

We really enjoyed this beautiful property and it was everything they said it would be. That said, I would never have rented it had I been given the real check-out procedure ahead of time, just because I avoid overly onerous check out procedures. In all the times my husband and I have rented places in VRBO and other places, "take out the trash" has never meant find a "designated municipal waste collection point" on your own and carry the garbage along with your bags to dispose of it. Also, I always try to find the glass recycling on my own to be a considerate guest, but with no guidance, from the owner, I was unable to find one, despite running around the town with it in the final hour of checkout. A little help to be a good guest would have been greatly appreciated.

"Thank you so much for the 10/10 rating and for your kind words about the property! We are thrilled you enjoyed the house. We are so sorry to hear you spent your final morning searching for disposal points. To clarify for future guests, there is never any expectation to locate municipal drop-offs or haul recycling around town, we provide on-site disposal and sorting right at the property so departure is effortless. We truly appreciate how considerate you were trying to be, and we will make sure our checkout notes are highlighted even more clearly so guests know they can simply leave these items in the designated bins at the house and head straight to their next destination."

Wonderful hosts - very welcoming and very hospitable. Oliver met us at the train station and personally showed us to his home. He and his wife went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The home has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. This home is in the most perfect location with amazing views of the mountains. Perfect for families - so much space to spread out and enjoy. This was the perfect launch location to enjoy the town of Appenzell, but to easily get to the mountains for hiking. 10/10!
