If you enjoy the beauty of rural Gettysburg but want to be conveniently located to the Historic Battlefield sites including Little Round Top our guest suite may be the perfect farm stay, getaway for you. With over 1,400 square feet, the nicely appointed guest suite offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to 6 people.
Our base rate is priced right for 2 guests. Then an affordable up-charge for each additional guest with a maximum of 6. Please no more than 6 guests! No charge for kids under 2.
Most visitors enjoy the scenic views, walks through the gardens or taking in a leisurely stroll after a day full of touring. Others come less for the history and more for outdoor activities like biking through the park and quite farm roads that surround over 5,000+ acres of the Gettysburg Military Park.
The main bedroom (see photos) has an oversize queen (firm) bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds and an additional queen size Murphy bed in a semi-private area (see photo) that is ideal for kids or the grand kids.
The inground saltwater pool has been installed and will open in May. Details and some pictures have been uploaded. Guests are required to sign our general liability waiver prior to using the pool.
Owners, Jeff & Kathy Glahn live on site as they manage a kiwi vines and gardens. Visitors have a private entrance and outdoor sitting area to make your farm stay a perfect getaway.

GUEST ACCESS:
After the final payment has been received, you will be provided with the key access code to the unit. Parking is available for up to 2 cars.

POOL USE:
Our pool is available to use for reserved guests only. The pool is open typically mid-May and closed in late September depending on the weather. Pool hours will vary, but during the months of June-August the pool will be available from 11 am - 8 pm.
This is the owner's private pool and located directly behind the house.
-No lifeguard, swim at your own risk.
-Absolutely no diving.
-Towels and lounge chairs are available.
-No glass containers can be used in the pool area.
-All guests are required to sign a liability release prior to using the pool.

Perfect for Visit to Gettysburg

Had a great time -- very clean property with thoughtful hosts, location very close to sights in Gettysburg but still in the country. Would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

Home away from home

Located minutes from downtown Gettysburg in a beautiful and quiet area. The house was clean, comfortable and the pool was a perfect way to cool off in the afternoon. Kathy and Jeff were friendly and offered some great suggestions for family friendly activities and restaurants.

Home away from home

Kathy and Jeff were wonderful hosts! They welcomed our little family into their home and treated us just like family! Locatiojnwas peefect, the pool was wonderful and the property was so spacious! We can't thank them enough for such a great experience! The jams and bread were an extra sweet touch, you wont want to leave without getting some jams to being home!

Excellent! Beautiful, quiet stay in a picturesque setting.

Very friendly, accommodating and gracious host. Comfortable and large apartment with everything needed for a perfect stay. Close to all attractions, parks and restaurants. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating in every way and made sure we had everything needed for a great stay!

We absolutely loved staying here. Out hosts we so hospitable and friendly. Would definitely recommend. The listing showed a kitchen but it was only a refrigerator and microwave which was not a big deal for us. Thanks Kathy and Jeff!!

Relaxing stay!

Such a great place with a beautiful garden. Kathy was a great host, and fun to talk with about the garden. The apartment was very comfortable for our family of 4 adults. The location can’t be beat if you are sightseeing in Gettysburg.

Hospitality at its finest

We had such a wonderful time. Fires out back to very close commute to city center. We were able to find everything we wanted and enjoyed the beautiful weather, landscape, and history. Would stay here again 10/10 times

Beautiful Home, Excellent Location!

This was the perfect place for my family to spend our yearly trip to Gettysburg. The property is beautiful, Kathy and Jeff were awesome hosts and we were only a couple of miles from everything our favorite vacation spot has to offer. Hope to see you again next year.

A must stay!

Simply a "Must Stay" if you're in the Gettysburg area. Beautiful well maintained property with the most gracious host's one could ask for. Close enough to the battlefields & attractions but far enough away to enjoy the residence in restful peace & quiet. We are certainly looking forward to our visit! Thank you Jeff & Kathy.

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our time in the beautifully decorated and spacious apartment! It was roomy for a family of four. The best part was coming back in the afternoon for a relaxing float in the pool taking in the beautiful views of the garden areas. The hosts are amazing, great people, we will be returning guests for sure!

Owners, Jeff and Kathy Glahn relocated to Gettysburg in 1998 and soon after Kathy started a hardy kiwi vineyard on the land. In 2012 we decided to 'simplify' our life and built a home on the site. We are hooked on this location for it's rural beauty and easy access to the park, downtown Gettysburg and other visitor attractions. Guests are welcome to tour the gardens (when in season) and perhaps get a few garden tips from the head gardener herself.

This Hospital Road property was originally part of the George Bushman Farm which served as the Twelfth Corps Civil War Hospital. This area continues to remain somewhat rural with acres of gentle hills and less travel country roads perfect for biking.
To either start or end your day, enjoy relaxing outside and take in the view of Big and Little Roundtop.

Sunrise to sunset, our home overlooks both Big and Little Roundtop one of the most frequently visited historic sites in Gettysburg. Little Roundtop is just a mile walk from the property.
Our guests enjoy the relaxing spaciousness of our guest suite and as many say "this is a perfect location". Check out all the reviews!
Spring, summer or fall, take a break and relax outside to enjoy the gardens humming with activity. You can easily spot many hummingbirds whizzing by or the butterflies floating among the flowers.
For breakfast, sample some of the Wild Juniper Farm's craft jams to help jump start your day.
