Nestled on 20 wooded acres, enjoy complete seclusion 15 minutes from world-class skiing at Big Sky Resort and 5 minutes from Big Sky's lively downtown. Guests will fall in love with the unobstructed views of Lone Peak from the wraparound deck and private hot tub.

Crafted from natural timbers with wildlife-inspired accents and exposed log trusses, this 3-story home greets guests with willow chairs on the front porch. Take in Lone Peak from the 4 Adirondack chairs on the wraparound deck off the living space, or savor a family-style BBQ at the 6-person table. To the side is the private hot tub.

With parking for 3 vehicles, including 1 covered space in the garage, groups can split up and explore Big Sky's surrounding areas at their leisure. For an easy day trip, the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only a scenic hour away. Book this alpine retreat today!

The house is stunning and the Christmas decor warmed the entire stay! Everything was clean and beautiful. THE VIEWS ARE STUNNING. There was not one thing we needed, every accommodation was easily available.

Annual Cabin trip

Super easy to communicate with property managers regarding any needs! The property was BEAUTIFUL and was great for a big group of adults. We will definitely visit again in the future.

Incredible Location

Great spot - felt very rustic and authentic. Everything was clean. I was there with 12 guys to ski. We had very easy access to everything in town, and the drive to big sky resort was short. Only thing I’d note is sleeping arrangements for 12 guys was extremely tight, and we wish we’d have paid more attention to the number of actual beds the listing noted.

First Trip to Big Sky

Huckleberry Hideaway was everything we'd hoped it would be. Just a short drive to the ski hill and nicely removed/secluded from any noise. The only suggestion we have would be to upgrade the beds. The sizeable hot tub helped to soothe the aches and pains though. Would definitely recommend!

Great stay

Fantastic stay ! The description was very accurate but the photos don’t do the views justice, absolutely breath taking. Natural Retreats was very responsive even when we had a grill issue late Friday night it was rectified first thing on Saturday. The wild life was amazing just viewing from the deck. If you have to call anything out it would be the mattress in the bigger down stairs bedroom probably needs to be replaced. But overall the place was amazing and we will be coming back worth every penny !

Nice property, sub par responsiveness

The first morning we discovered the coffee maker didn't work. It took 21/2 days, numerous texts and sending a video to convince them it was broken. Assumption was we didn't know how to operate it. Finally on day 3 someone brought us a new coffee maker, however, we were only there for 4 nights. The 24-7 onsite manager is completely bogus - only responses we got were between 9am and 4pm despite calling the 800 number. God forbid there was a fire or a broken pipe in the middle of the night! Sub par responsiveness for paying top dollar.

Wonderful!

Huckleberry HideAway is a beautiful home! Very clean, well maintained & a great location. The layout is great with several separate hangout spaces - all very cozy & comfy. Kitchen is very well equipped & the hot tub is perfect. It’s close to the town center, but you feel totally secluded. We will definitely be bask again!

Home away from home and then some!

I planned a family ski vacation with my daughters and their boyfriends. This house was very well designed with lots of comfort and amenities. The layout was a pleasure between the Kitchen, dining room and living room. It was very spacious with plenty of seating and room to get cozy in front of the wood fire place. (you gotta love real wood fires). The rooms were private and all with their own baths. Normally we dine out on vacation, but the house was so cozy and warm, we ate most of our dinners at home. The Hot Tub was powerful and spacious AND HOT, great for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The views from this house are not to be missed.

Amazing Views with all the Amenities

We stayed for a large family gathering in July. Watched the amazing firework display in downtown Big Sky from the back porch on the 4th. The live music in big sky is a huge plus. There are great hiking trails near by and the lodge location provided quick access to Yellowstone. Also, groups that want activities close by like white water rafting, zip line, or fishing...it is all here. We cooked every meal at the lodge and we had quality pots, pans, and flatware. The lodge sits on several secluded acres which sits above the town of Big Sky and faces Lone Mountain. The lodge provided very scenic privacy yet just minutes from town for anything we needed. Would stay here again on our next trip.

Awful never booking with natural retreats again

Don’t expect ANY privacy at this property. You will drive up to another person parked in the drive way. The care taker of the property lives above the garage. He parks his vehicle in the garage. Only a couple walls and a few feet divide your living space from him. So you don’t feel comfortable putting your stuff in the garage. You can see his living quarters from the “private hot tub”. Don’t plan on staying outside past 10pm. We were told to stay in side past quiet hours. Ruined our trip, asked for a refund but the manager said it didn’t have an impact on our trip, although it wasn’t in the description. Anyone looking for privacy, highly recommend not saying with natural retreats, you never know what you will drive up too.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave us some feedback about your stay and would like to address a few of the issues you brought up in your review. This property does have a caretaker that lives in separate living quarters above the garage that is not connected to the home itself. He is hired by the homeowner to maintain the premises of this beautiful 20-acre property including snow removal in the winter, yard and landscape maintenance in the summer, and routine maintenance of the home’s systems year-round. He is not a Natural Retreats employee, therefore we do not list his presence on the listing as we do not set the expectation that he is there to be of service to our guests. Aside from a friendly “Hello” if he sees our guests, he keeps to himself and does not interfere in any way. He simply alerts us if there are any issues that he observes our guests are having. Guests that have stayed at this property and have abided by the terms and conditions in their rental agreements have had no problems with this arrangement and appreciate his value to the property. Our Big Sky vacation rental homes are luxurious getaways for guests to responsibly enjoy the tranquility of the Rocky Mountains, the adventures the area offers, and time with friends and family.

Perfect Family Retreat

We visited big sky during winter break. The house was beautiful with incredible views and plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was well equipped providing all we needed to make big family dinners. The kids loved sledding on the hill behind the house, and we all enjoyed skiing at Big Sky which was only a 15 minute drive away. We highly recommend this house and this location for a ski vacation in Big Sky.
