Welcome to Cozy Oaks Luxe Barndo!

A relaxed, elevated retreat in beautiful Brown County. Soaring 10-ft ceilings, crisp shiplap walls, and warm finishes set the tone the moment you walk in.

The primary suite features a king bed with luxury linens, a walk-in closet (pack-and-play friendly), and a spa-style bath with heated tile floors and a dual-head shower.

Dogs are welcome here! Bring your well-behaved pup along for the adventure — we know getaways are better when the whole family comes.

Unwind in the oversized living room with the cozy fireplace, 13-ft leather sofa, and hanging egg chair. Watch the horses across the road, work on a puzzle, or simply slow down.

Kitchen + Game Nook
The fully stocked kitchen includes a brass farmhouse sink, statement island, cookware, baking essentials, and a full coffee bar with Cozy Cabins mugs.

A mini game nook with wall Scrabble and tic-tac-toe adds a fun touch.

What a beautiful cozy place to stay! We had the most amazing time staying in this lovely barndominium. Secluded but close to Nashville and Brown County State Park. It was just my husband and I for a long weekend and this was the perfect place for us. Has all the amenities and special touches one could ask for. The kitchen was fantastic! Even had a meat thermometer we could use when grilling on the back patio. The large walk in rainfall shower was glorious after sitting out back by the fire pit that was stocked with wood. The hot tub was hot and refreshing after a day of hiking. Everything was perfect! Clean and cozy and just wonderful. Great for family with young kids or couples trip or girls trip!! Highly recommend.

The host was absolutely wonderful and very easy to communicate with. There was a last minute change in our plans, as the pupper we were going to be bringing with us, was not joining us. I received a refund within minutes! The house is just wonderful. There is not a single thing about the house we would change. Thank you so much for a most wonderful Girls Weekend!

We had an amazing stay at this barndominium! It was the perfect place for our family of six, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and still feel comfortable together. The layout was open and roomy, yet incredibly cozy at the same time. We also loved that it was pet-friendly—our furry family member felt right at home, which made the trip even better. Everything was clean, well thought out, and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. We would absolutely recommend this place to families and anyone traveling with pets and would happily stay here again. The owners were so easy to work with. Can’t recommend this property enough!

Girls weekend celebrating 42 years of friendship. Cabin was perfect, with 2 king beds and 1 queen bed in 3 separate bedrooms, it accommodated the 6 of us comfortably. The beds were so comfortable, I woke without back pain, unlike my home mattress. We enjoyed dinner at the hard truth distillery but mostly enjoyed hunkering down all weekend in this cozy cabin. From blanket throws in the living room to heated floors in the bathrooms, this place has thought of every detail. It is located in the trees via some hilly, narrow, curvy roads 15 minutes between Columbus and Nashville. We only ventured out once due to this reason but we were all completely content to turn on the fireplace, open some wine/charcuterie, and snuggle up around the living room catching up with each other. Thank you for lending us your cozy cabin, I will definitely return. Oh, and the hot tub! The cleanest rental hot tub that I’ve ever sat in, thank you!!! The 6 of us fit comfortably there as well, situated right outside the back kitchen door on the deck under the string lights

This vacation home is remarkably spacious and beautifully constructed. We had the pleasure of staying here over Christmas. The property was festively decorated, complete with a tree and stockings adorning the fireplace. Everyone had a restful sleep, thanks to the comfortable beds. The heated floors in the bathrooms were a delightful amenity. I particularly appreciated the instant hot water, perfect for tea and hot cocoa. A spacious closet could potentially serve as a fourth bedroom for children, accommodating an air mattress if needed. The front porch was a lovely spot to relax, and the firepit and hot tub in the backyard were an enjoyable features. The location is conveniently situated, just 15 minutes from Columbus or Nashville for shopping excursions. We also made it a point to visit the Abe Martin Lodge and purchase passes for the water park. The host was very easy to work with, and quick to respond. It is a Christmas we will remember.

Great cabin, the dimmer light switches took a little getting used to. Liked that we could buy coffee mugs, would have been nice if coffee and tea was provided. Might also help drive mug sales :)Check out instructions were a little confusing. Said something about leave towels in the main bathroom in the tub. We interpreted the front bedroom with the attached bathroom as the “main”/Master bathroom, but it did not have a tub. So we put them in the shared bathroom that had a tub and was closer to the laundry room.Overall very clean, very quiet, enjoyed the stay, and would use again.

Welcome to Cozy Cabins! My family has been very fortunate to have met the previous Cozy owners, and to be able to purchase four amazing cabins from them. We are truly grateful for their kindness, wisdom and generosity!

The four cabins are located in Brown County and Bartholomew County. My husband's family has a long-standing connection to the Brown County area, with a family cabin that has existed for over 150 years. We have updated the cabin on the same property and visit it often. We truly appreciate the heritage of Brown County and everything the region has to offer.

We feel very lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing local restaurants, shops, and venues. We recognize that these local businesses are the heart and soul of the Brown County community, and we value them not just as a family that enjoys their services, but as new short-term rental owners eager to serve both locals and visitors to the Brown County area.
