The Space:

Welcome to The Max, a beautifully renovated and pet friendly bungalow located in the heart of Fredericksburg’s Historic District at 320 W Orchard. Just a 9 minute walk to Marktplatz and only a few blocks from Main Street, this cozy 1BR retreat blends charm, comfort, and privacy for the perfect Hill Country escape.



Under new ownership and curated for a five star stay, The Max offers a warm interior, a quiet neighborhood setting, and a private outdoor courtyard complete with a hot tub, fire pit, and covered entertainment pavilion. Whether you are wine tasting, shopping, dining, or simply relaxing, this guesthouse provides a peaceful home base for your Fredericksburg adventure.

Well behaved pets are welcome with prior approval. The pet fee is 75 dollars per pet with a 70 pound maximum.

The Max is a completely private house. You will not share any walls or amenities with other guests. Check in is at 4 PM and check out is at 11 AM. Early check in may be available for a fee.

You’re staying in the Historic District in a home that was originally built in 1926. Located just 3 mins from Markplatz (9 min walk) and jsut 3 blocks from Main St, you're in the perfect location to experience all that Fredericksburg has to offer. The Max is on a quiet neighborhood street offering a peaceful getaway, but just a 9 minute walk to our favorite local coffee shop, Caliche Coffee and the best spicy margaritas in town at Hondo's on Main.



Getting Around:

Getting around is easy from The Max. You’re staying in Fredericksburg’s Historic District in a 1926 bungalow on a quiet neighborhood street, just 3 minutes by car (about a 9 minute walk) to the heart of town (Marktplatz) and only three blocks from Main Street. Park in your dedicated on site parking, then leave the car and enjoy a relaxed stroll into town for dining, shopping, and exploring everything Fredericksburg has to offer.



Other Things to Note:

Check in is at 4 PM and check out is at 11 AM. Early check in may be available upon request for a fee.



Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the bungalow.



Pets are welcome with prior approval. The pet fee per pet. Please reach out before booking so we can note your pet on the reservation.



There is absolutely no smoking inside the unit. A minimum 250 dollar fee will be charged for any evidence of smoking.



This guesthouse is completely private and you will not share any amenities with other guests on the property.
