The Space:

Pack your sunhat and get ready to enjoy this stunning coastal retreat boasting ocean views and room for the whole family and more. This newly remodeled home features an open layout and the living room is laid-back with a sectional couch, a gas fireplace, and a flatscreen Smart TV where you can stream your favorite movies and shows! The well-equipped kitchen is bright and full of amenities and new appliances, opening up to the dining area where everyone can chat over a glass of white wine and appetizers while the chef of the group shows off their skills. Everyone will love hanging out on the decks outside, as there is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the views on the patio furniture, a gas grill for cookouts in the fresh air, and a hot tub to relax and enjoy the perfect ocean view. With free WiFi, you can easily update your friends or family back home, plus there are two booster seats and two portable cribs for your convenience. There is also a new heated outdoor shower where you can rinse off after a day at the beach! The decks are also the perfect place to enjoy some whale watching over a beverage of your choice, or to watch the ocean waves during storm season.

Located just a block from public beach access, this abode is great for anyone looking to spend time out on the sand! There's always something to do outdoors nearby whether you're hanging out on the beach, in the water at Devils Lake, or heading out for some hiking and sight-seeing. If you want to head to the sea, there's beach access less than a block away on Logan Road, though you could also take a pleasant stroll south through the neighborhood to Road's End State Park for great views! Devil's Lake State Recreation Area is just over three miles from here for more outdoor BBQ, boating, and a fantastic play structure for the kids. Rent out surfboards or bicycles in town, or simply spend the day with a cooler onshore with the family! Lincoln City has many fun bars, restaurants, and shopping choices, and Chinook Winds Casino Resort is about a mile from here.

Perfect location

Fantastic beach house

I took my sons, daughter in law and grandchildren for the 4th of July holiday. Plenty of room for us all and lots of space to play inside and out. The view from this house is spectacular. We enjoyed the spacious deck, comfy beds, hot tub and bbq. The hill to the house is a little steep but all was well. The beach is a short walk and not crowded. Had great weather and lots of beach time. The hosts were very accommodating and replied quickly to texts. A great trip!

Clean, spacious, close to the beach

Outdoor living and and proximity to the beach combined with ample space for a couple families made this the perfect fit for our vacation! Will definitely stay again. Best service for any questions came from local contact or VRBO app as opposed to Vacasa chat.

Excellent stay!

We had a group of 9 stay and we were thrilled with the property! The views! House was clean and ready, great touches with shampoo and soaps. Grill worked great. We give this place a 5 out of 5, you will not be disappointed.

family get together

our daughter from Salem joined us on the coast for a few days of R&R. We had a wonderful time. Everyone was comfortable and the setting was relaxing and beautiful. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect Ladies Weekend Away

We rented this house during a ladies weekend. A few of us had babies so those with young children loved having that separate space in the cottage. My favorite part was the full horizon view of the sunset while in the hot tub. Will definitely be renting again.

So many stairs but worth it for the view!

We travelled with my grandparents so the stairs were a concern, however we quickly learned there was parking up the hill on the backside of the house which made it much easier for them! The house had plenty of room for everyone to relax and of course the view was astounding!

Things we left

We were very happy with the house. We did have trouble figuring out how the dishwasher and oven worked, but struggled through. Maybe some detailed instructions would help. Otherwise we would book again We seem to have lost a small gold cross, that came off of a chain. And I believe I left my brand new Yellowstone sweatshirt. We would certainly pay to have them returned. Please check with house cleaning for me.

Great. views and location

Our extended family enjoyed our week long stay. Having the separate cottage is a great feature which allows for added space and privacy. The main house could use updating, especially the carpets, which did not look clean. There was thick dust on the overhead fans and overall cleaning could have been better. Management was responsive though, although we cleaned the dust ourselves. Furnishing are very basic, including kitchen equipment. Older adults with mobility issues should use the back entrance because the front drive is very steep. Best features are the view and location, which allowed for easy access (by car) to points of interest up and down the coast.

Beach Getaway

Location was perfect, view was as listed and close to the beach. Overall the house itself was good but needs to be better cleaned. Stove was dirty, BBQ was dirty, the rest of the house was fine. We were disappointed in the hot tub. The kids were looking forward to it the first night but when we opened the cover it smelled horrible and it was so filthy with dirt and scum on the sides. I messaged the rental company and they responded right away and sent someone to drain and clean it the next morning which was very appreciated. After it was cleaned it was great and the kids had wonderful time but we lost the first night in it. We would stay again because of the view but would recommend mentioning to make sure the BBQ and hot tub were cleaned!

The Perfect Location

Initially we planned on staying in a lake house on Devil's Lake but a tree fell on that house two weeks prior to our stay and we had to be moved. I'm grateful that Vacasa was able to move us to this home without too much stress or worry. The views simply can't be beat and we loved watching the sunset every evening from the deck and the hot tub. The accommodations were great for our family. The little cottage out front is spacious and roomy and was perfect for our daughter and two of her children. My son in law had to do quite a bit of working from home and the cottage was the perfect for that. The King Suites were perfect for our sons. My husband and I shared the bunk bed room with our youngest grandson and loved our sleepovers every night. Plenty of space and bathrooms so we never felt like we were on top of each other. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and communication with guest services was easy and responses were quick . We've stayed in Lincoln City before and this was our favorite location. This part of Roads End is very quiet with little to no traffic. We found some kites in the garage and were able to use those on the beach. There are also sand toys and beach chairs that we did not use but it's a thoughtful gesture. The walk to the beach is short and convenient. The only disadvantage was the steep driveway but it wasn't an issue for us.

Wow! This home is amazing!

Our group of 7 - blended family - totally enjoyed Ocean Horizons. This home is beautiful and comfortable. The guest house (Queen plus twins) was great for my son and DIL to have their own privacy. The two bedrooms (Kings) on the main level were very nice and comfortable. One had an en-suite bathroom/shower and there was also a hall bathroom that was a tub/shower combination.) The 2 sets of bunkbeds were downstairs with it's own bathroom. The kitchen, dining area, and family room are on the main level with a massive deck and hot tub. The ocean views were amazing! The table for 10 was great for our large group and there was plenty of dinnerware. They have tons of coffee cups, but very few glasses. Hopefully, they will get more, but plan to take some if your group is medium to large. They could also use a crockpot and some casserole dishes. The pantry did have some staples, but if there is something you need, there is shopping very close by. I think this house would be phenomenal in any type of weather. I did see some beach chairs and toys in the garage when I used the washer and dryer which were huge and nice to take clean clothes home. We plan to rent this home in the future. It is just that amazing!

Not for mobility challenged 70/80 year olds

Steep property, check in requires steep parking, go into lower level front door, through house to get to garage & open to be able to unload car on the “level” inside garage. Backing out requires “spotters” to direct. On the last day, found house instructions stapled to entryway. We all entered through garage so instructions were never seen. Apparently we were to have brought our own access codes to watch any tv/cable/netflix or whatever. Did not know that in advance and have never stayed anywhere that did not have tv/cable service of some kind. Great view, nice appliances. Didn’t even go into guest house (wasn’t accessible except down the steep driveway) so one of our group slept on the couch. Furnishings photographed well for the advertising, but VERY uncomfortable metal dining chairs. We actually used some of the deck chairs inside because they were more comfortable, though rusty. This property would probably be well suited for young families but NOT for elderly people. Oh, and one day, the driveway completely blocked by construction equipment for the house being built next door. We would have had to walk to th For as many people house can supposedly sleep, not nearly enough plugins to recharge devices and NO reading lamps in the living room. Overhead lights to dim to read by. On arrival, two bedroom bifold doors were broken & not usable. Could also use a deep cleaning & repainting of ALL wainscoting. And rescrew some of decking bolts that stick up…
