Great house!

Great place to stay 1min walk to beach if that! We had one window that wouldn't close contacted support and they set it on the fix list. Beds, towels and bedding could definitely use an upgrade thou.

Will Stay Again

This is a great place to stay. Nothing fancy but met all our needs and was comfortable. Plenty of space for 3 couples and a toddler. Beds were comfy, had lots of items to play at the beach, and great selections of movies and games. It rained quite a bit while we were there. Location was amazing. Beach access was across the street and was one block from all the main restaurants and play structures. Will def stay again!

Close to everything in Rockaway

The property is located one block from shops, one block from the beach, and one block from the Catholic Church. We had an ocean view from two of the three floors. It was a pet friendly property, so the carpets didn't look great, but the house didn't smell bad. Couldn't get the main tv to work, nor the hair dryer, nor the bathroom fan on the second level, and had a lightbulb out in the lamp on the left bedside stand in the master bedroom. Space was perfect for spouse and two single, one married adult children and two small dogs. Fenced yard helped with night time dog needs.

It was the perfect location with easy beach access for us and the dogs. There were 7 of us and 2 dogs and the home was perfectly comfortable with plenty of space for all of us.

Delayed Maintenance

Pros: - Good location, close to beach and town (the bakery!) - Plenty of space for everyone - Master suite is very nice with sitting area - Beach toys and bikes in the garage - Clean Cons: - Smoke alarm bracket, but no smoke alarm upstairs - Rug at top of stairs has curling edges-major trip hazard - Microwave above the stove is broken, so no vent fan or light (another microwave is provided on the counter) - Broken blinds on both sliding doors, this is especially annoying in the master bedroom in the morning - Two of the windows have broken mechanisms and won’t close without pushing from the outside - Main floor bathroom fan is not working - VERY slow drain in upstairs bath - Poorly outfitted kitchen - no cookie sheets, no rubber spatula (I did leave one we purchased), no mixer or hand mixer of any kind - Mattresses, mattress pads (stained and torn), and sheets (worn out elastic) need to be replaced - Burned out lightbulbs

Great family place!

Great house, we had a great week. Place was well stocked. Wish there has been more propane. Very comfortable beds and all bathrooms were great. Just perfect for us. Despite not being g on the beach the walk was only about 30 seconds! Only issues were at the beginning. We had a delayed check in due to unforeseen circumstances according to Vacasa. When we got in , there were a few broken items and cleaning items left out but nothing we couldn’t be without for the week. Vacasa was extremely responsive to my comments and questions!

Nice place - when there is power

Good location a block back from the beach and plenty of space with 4 bedrooms for our family (7 adults, 2 small children). Unfortunately a regional power outage meant no lights, refrigerator, heat, gas stations, etc. Notified the only contact, an 800 number, that we had to leave early and could not run dishwasher, laundry, etc. Have received no acknowledgement a week later.

Overall a good place to stay.

The house was great. The appliances were little to be desired. The range was rough and pots and pans were terrible. The dishwasher was touchy. It ran all day one day while we were away. Really nice having a washer and dryer to use. The place did the job.

Great rental! Perfect size and location.

We had a reunion with myself and my adult siblings. There was room for all of us plus my husband and two kids. The place was clean and had lots of extras, such as streaming platforms, a well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and sheets as wells as games and DVDs. I would highly recommend this rental for a large family.

Our annual Rockaway vacation

We loved the location of the duplex. Was a little disappointed to find dishes in the dishwasher, counters were dirty upon arrival. Other than that, everything was great. We rented both sides - would love to rent it again - we'd like to suggest a "door/gate" be installed on the back deck to allow access to both sides.

Sweet Spot for Introvert Fams

PLENTY of room for our group of 6, many of whom need a little extra quiet space on vacation, to spread out and chill between beach trips. We cooked a lot because many RB restaurants are closed Mon - Thurs. The kitchen is well stocked with tools, good pots and pans, and a few 'get what you get' left-behind spices. We were also able to make a pie and hand-whipped the cream with the whisk. Piece of - well, pie!

Broken, worn out and no response from property manager.

We arrived to find a dining chair broken into several pieces stacked in the dining room. I sent a message immediately to the property manager without getting a response (still). There was a cupboard door broken hinge in the kitchen. There was no furniture on the bedroom balcony ( there was on the neighbors unit). The unit smelled of dog urine as well. The fact that the unit had obvious items that needed repair made me question if they truly cleaned the unit before we arrived.

Great location, good for multi generational family stay

We enjoyed staying steps away from beach access, the garage to park out of the rain, walkability to shops and restaurants, and the great spaces around the house for hanging out. There was a pervasive dog urine smell in the kitchen and living room which was quite off-putting.
