The host was attentive, the problem was the maintenance and amenities of the unit, and its design. The bathroom is basically a narrow corridor you get to through the laundry closet. The tub/shower ceiling has cracks in the plaster. It’s an old shower curtain, no curtain liner, no shower caddy. No bath mat was provided for inside or outside tub, there’s mold at the base of the tub. They should provide at least two wash clothes and two hand towels. Bed was comfortable and clean but walls are so thin you could hear the upstairs neighbors, every step they take and when they played music. No shampoo provided, In kitchen, no coffee and inadequate cooking equipment, there was no pan to reheat food. Light over dining table is dirty and has bugs in the fixture. Lighting overall is inadequate and harsh, all the bulbs are cold blue light. Scratches on the base of main entry door. There’s the minimum amount of kitchen supplies. The unit is also dark. The location in South Tampa is good but there are way better places to stay.
