Staying here felt like we walked into a family friend's home! Our extended family stayed at Havenwood in June '26 and had a wonderful experience! Alison, property manager, was incredibly responsive, helpful and the place was incredibly clean and well stocked! We had great personal communication with both Chris and Brenda (owners). All the perennial gardens were beginning to bloom and just was heaven (with the exception of the stinky Bradford Pear!) The basketball half court, 2-story playhouse, in-ground trampoline, and stocked pond with rainbow trout were an added bonus outside, while inside we enjoyed the "play room" off of the media room with MANY kids toys, an art station, and a drum set as well! We also saw a different kind of wildlife each day during our 9 day stay, starting with a young black bear! Pictures don't do the place justice for the nature you are surrounded by - all while being so close to Woodstock. The home offered great spaces to hang out all together while also gave privacy to not "have" to be in the same room besides a bedroom. Havenwood is incredibly well suited for multigenerational gatherings and seems like it was even designed for that! Our daughters ages 5 and 2 were easily accommodated here as well. The kitchen was stocked with lots of spices, pantry items, things left in the fridge and freezer- not to mention ALL the Farmhouse Pottery, Simon Pearce, and All Clad pieces! A trip we will all hold dearly in memories. THANK YOU!
