This unique new build in Historic Downtown Wilmington is perfect for large groups wanting to experience all the city has to offer. Four tree-lined blocks from the Riverfront District, the house offers a beautiful walk to some of Wilmingtonā€™s best restaurants - Seabird, Dram Yard, Savorez and more. The house is ideally located between the river and the beach - just a twenty minute drive to the waves of Wrightsville Beach, one of Travel + Leisureā€™s 25 Best Beaches in the US.

The space
Spacious and light-filled with tall ceilings and unique accents, the Lookout sleeps up to 14 guests with 4 bedrooms and a lofted lookout. The home's design blends a modern aesthetic into the historically-inspired space - furnished with premium furniture brands like Floyd and Crate & Barrel and styled with locally commissioned art from Modern Coast Co. Designed to accommodate large groups, the open floor plan features an oversized dining table, breakfast nook and 4-top kitchen island. The wrap-around porch includes loungers, and an eight-seat dining table - a great place to enjoy the coastal weather.

We all loved the location (easy walk to the riverwalk) and close to family members who live neartby. All rooms were attractively decorated and very comfortable. Kitchen was perfect to help prepare Thanksgiving sides. Best of all, our host was wonderfully responsive and very acommodating when we had a difficlut situation. We would definitely stay there again.

Decent stay for wedding weekend

The property itself was gorgeous and had a lot of charm, and overall our stay was enjoyable. That said, there were a few issues worth noting for future guests. One of the bathroom doors was off its hinges when we arrived, and the fan and lights in the master bedroom did not work. The AC could have been stronger, especially in the warmer parts of the day.Privacy is limited ā€” as expected for a downtown location ā€” but you can literally see into the neighboring house from the bedroom. The parking situation was also tricky. Itā€™s street parking only (first come, first serve), and while thatā€™s completely normal where Iā€™m from (NYC), the neighbors became upset when we parked in front of their house, which was uncomfortable.All that said, the property itself was beautiful, well-located, and had a lot to offer. With a few repairs and some clarity on parking expectations, it could easily be a five-star stay.

Enjoyed our stay

House was located in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhoods and looking at the historic homes in the area. Our house was just as described with everything we needed! Amazing stay

This was the best vacation rental weā€™ve ever stayed in! We had a big family (7 adults and 2 babies) staying and it was perfectly sized. It was clean, well stocked and in a very convenient location. The host was amazing!! Very quick with responses and very accommodating. I will be recommending anyone staying in Wilmington to book here. Thank you for the great experience!

Perfect Location to Front Street

This beautiful home has spacious bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. The kitchen is wonderful, although the refrigerator is a bit small. The laundry was nice with its full-size washer and dryer, too. The house is walking distance to Front Street, so it's close to great restaurants and the river. This property is a gem!

Family Wedding Weekend

516 allowed our family a comfortable stay while celebrating our youngest sonā€™s wedding in downtown Wilmington. Conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and waterfront. Wonderful Home in Wilmington

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The door access code worked on the first attempt and our initial impression was that the home was beautifully decorated and very calming. Each time we returned to the home, someone in our group would comment on how appealing it was. Each room had a minimalist feel and was roomy, clean, and bright. The dining area and living room had plenty of seating for our group of six adults. The beds were so comfortable that we asked Jared (host) where we could purchase similar mattresses and he promptly provided the information. There were plenty of electrical outlets in the main area to recharge our eleven laptops, tablets, phones, and drones and the wifi was fast and flawless. It was appointed with everything we needed, and the location was within walking distance to dining options and within 10 minutes drive to the airport. The next time we visit Wilmington, this home will be our top choice.

Wonderful house and inside space for family

We had a wonderful time in Wilmington. Itā€™s about a 15 minute walk to the riverfront. We had a great stay. We were in town for a wedding. The place accommodates 10 but plan to eat out or cater in. It has a small refrigerator and freezer with limited cooking ability. Very clean. Parking is tricky if you have more than two cars. The Neighbors watch closely if you have an extra spot and were kind to ask us to move but the off site location that was offered by the owner for additional parking did not feel safe and is a good walk away.
