Summit Ridge Lodge | 6-BR Retreat with Ski Access
Summary:
Welcome to Summit Ridge Lodge, a true ski-in/ski-out retreat perched along Stratton’s Lower Wanderer Trail. As the second-highest home on the trail, this renovated 6-bedroom, 5-bath slopeside lodge blends rustic warmth with modern ease, direct access to the lifts, and exceptional outdoor amenities including a private hot tub, fire pit, and pergola. With multiple living spaces, a family room designed for games and movies, and effortless access to both Stratton Village and VAST snowmobile trails, this home provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable mountain escapes.
The Space:
Set high on Stratton Mountain, Summit Ridge Lodge delivers rare slopeside living with room for everyone to unwind. Inside, the home's warm, wood-accented design is paired with large windows that frame the outdoors, filling the interior with natural light.
The main living room offers a cozy gathering space with a wood-burning fireplace and TV, while the lower-level family room features a second TV and ping-pong table, ideal for keeping kids and adults happily separated when needed. With six bedrooms and five well-appointed bathrooms, the home comfortably accommodates families and groups looking for both connection and privacy.
A fully equipped kitchen anchors the central living space, perfect for preparing après-ski meals or casual lunches between runs. Dedicated ski lockers and cubbies keep gear organized, and ski-in/ski-out access means you can step out the door and onto the trail with ease.
Outdoors, the experience is pure Stratton: a slopeside hot tub for soaking under the stars, a fire pit and pergola for après gatherings, and a peaceful wooded backdrop that makes every moment feel restorative. With seamless access to VAST snowmobile trails and Stratton Pond Trail, the adventure continues well beyond the slopes.
This home is crafted for year-round mountain living, comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly positioned for an effortless Stratton getaway.
Guest Access:
Accessible with smart lock.
The Neighborhood:
Located on Stratton's iconic Lower Wanderer Trail, Summit Ridge Lodge sits in one of the most desirable spots on the mountain. Guests enjoy true ski-in/ski-out access, a short ride or shuttle trip to Stratton Village, and immediate proximity to winter activities, from ski school to snowmobiling along the VAST trail system.
In warmer seasons, the area transforms into a haven for hiking, biking, and lakeside exploring, with Stratton Pond and miles of scenic trails nearby. Whether you're seeking quiet mornings, active days, or lively après-ski evenings, this slopeside setting offers an unbeatable blend of convenience, natural beauty, and classic Vermont mountain charm.
Getting Around:
Vehicle required; in the winter, 4WD or AWD necessary given the weather.
Other Things to Note:
Notes & Disclaimers:
Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.
Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.
Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.
AC availability is seasonal and depending on weather (late spring and summer). Heating is also seasonal, and depending on weather, available during the cold seasons (autumn-winter).
Pets: We love our furry friends, but this home isn’t set up to host pets. Because the property sits directly on a ski trail, animals can be at risk if they wander onto active terrain with skiers and snowcats operating nearby. For their safety and the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted.
