Since our kids were small, we have vacationed regularly with our extended family and immediately realized that a vacation rental offers many more benefits than a typical hotel. The privacy, space, and even the convenience of cooking a meal or doing laundry, are all benefits of vacationing at a vacation rental. Since then, we have stayed in numerous vacation rental properties and appreciate a well equipped rental with ample space and access to amenities like a pool and water access.

In 2004, we purchased our first rental home in South Haven, Michigan. At the time, we were a family of 4 with a newborn and a one-year-old. The town was so beautiful and kid friendly that we knew we wanted to come back over and over. Since we are originally from Illinois and now live in the middle of the mitten, South Haven was a perfect meeting place for our family gatherings. We fell in love so quickly with the town that we purchased a 3 bedroom house in South Haven in November of that year. We labored all winter and completely renovated the house into a 6 bedroom vacation home designed for family reunions. A year later, we purchased the house next door, and have been welcoming families ever since.

In 2019 we expanded beyond Michigan by adding our Cape Escape home in Cape Coral Florida, complete with boat and captain. In 2022 we added a mountain home in Sevierville TN with unparalleled views of the Smoky Mountains. The newest addition in January 2026 is our beach property in Beverly Beach Florida with views of the Atlantic right from the back patio!

Over the years as our family and kids have grown, we have made many memories in our vacation homes and hope that our guests will have as much fun as we have!

We were looking for a place somewhere between our Cape Escape home (SW Florida) and our Misty Mountain Escape home (Smoky Mountains) and stumbled upon little-known Beverly Beach Florida, near Flagler Beach. Boy were were blown away when we checked out the area! Fell in love instantly.

What an unspoiled coastline! Flagler Beach has miles of uncrowded, cinnamon colored sand beaches. Unlike many Florida destinations, it has resisted overdevelopment, preserving its natural shoreline. Sunrises over the Atlantic are breathtaking, with waves rolling in and seabirds gliding overhead. The beach is perfect for surfing, swimming, or simply strolling. Dolphins often play offshore, and sea turtles nest along the beaches. Birdwatchers delight in spotting pelicans, ospreys, and gulls.

We love that the area still has small town charm. Flagler Beach has banned construction taller than three stories, ensuring the skyline remains open and natural. Moreover, the town has preserved its mom and pop shops, diners, and local restaurants, giving it a unique personality compared to more commercialized Florida towns.

The area still has the unspoiled small town charm, yet is still very close to nearby attractions. St Augustine just 30 minutes south, Daytona just 30 minutes north, and Orlando attractions within 90 minutes.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

So we fell in love with the area and then we found the ideal condo at Oceanside. Snagging the end (southernmost) unit on the main floor, gave us the extra space (bigger floor plan compared to interior units), and light (3 extra windows along the south wall). The end unit gave us views out the back patio door, but also the side windows. Oceanside amenities with the large HEATED pool and hot tub, which are generally uncrowded. With the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the intercoastal waterway on the west, it has a true island feel. We love to walk from our unit down the sidewalk to local establishments, such as the Java Joint Beachside Grill, which is just down the sidewalk from us.
