The Space:

Derry Woods Cabin is a contemporary two-story retreat tucked in a peaceful setting, thoughtfully designed for a relaxing Vermont getaway. Surrounded by trees and natural beauty, the home offers multiple outdoor spaces to unwind, including a welcoming front deck and a larger back deck perfect for dining and enjoying the fresh mountain air.



A spacious living room features expansive windows, a TV, a large plush sectional and a brick wood-burning fireplace, ideal for cozy nights in. Adjacent, the dining area presents a glass-top dining table that seats six with a view of the fireplace. Step directly onto the outdoor deck where you’ll find al fresco dining surrounded by peaceful woodland views. The fully equipped kitchen offers rich wood cabinetry and a convenient breakfast bar with seating providing a casual spot for coffee or quick meals.



Upstairs, the cabin offers three comfortable bedrooms designed with relaxation in mind. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The first guest bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin bunk bed, making it a great option for families traveling with kids while the second guest bedroom offers a king-size bed. The guest rooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.



Outside, guests can enjoy multiple spaces to relax in nature. Sip morning coffee on the front deck, share meals on the spacious back deck, or gather around the outdoor fire pit under the stars.



Located just under a mile from Lowell Lake State Park, guests have easy access to some of southern Vermont’s best outdoor recreation including swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and scenic lakeside picnics.

Within 15 minutes, you’ll find family-friendly runs at Bromley Mountain, while Okemo Mountain Resort offers expansive terrain and lively après. A scenic drive brings you to Manchester and Ludlow, both 30 minutes away, for boutique shopping, local dining, and classic Vermont village charm.



For bigger mountain adventures, you’re perfectly positioned between Stratton Mountain Resort, Mount Snow, and Killington Resort.

Getting Around:

Derry Woods Cabin is just 3 hours from Boston. A car is essential for getting there and exploring the area. The main access routes are the I-93 S, MA-2 E, and NH-12 S/Rte 12. We strongly recommend a 4x4 or a car with four-wheel drive, especially in winter, to handle snow and gravel roads.



Other Things to Note:

Bringing your pup along? They are totally welcome with an additional pet fee. Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along when you make your reservation.



Please note that Derry Woods Cabin is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.
