My new premium apartment Velazquez Boutique Suite is my last design project. It is the best
Bright 1br apartment, with capacity for 6 people. Ā The suite for those wanting a little bit of luxury on their doorstep in this MULTI BALCONY SUITE! An absolute must for anyone wanting to get to discover the real city center of Madrid

Situated in one of the cityĀ“s oldest and most famous neighbourhoods, this elegant vacational rental suite is in one of the best locations in Madrid. Situated in a peatonal street, it is a mere stones throw from numerous popular Madrid landmarks and lively neighbourhoods.

The bright living room has three spectacular balconies with lots of natural light. A convenient double glass isolation makes you see but not hear.
Beautifully decorated in warm, neutral colours, parquet flooring features throughout and exclusive and original artwork adorns the walls and the Belgiam wallpaper.

It is furnished with a 3-seater sofa which becomes a comfortable king bed size (1.60cmx200cm) an antique wooden coffee table, a 32 inches Samsung TV. A french style chest is the master piece of this cozy living room
The white bright Tulip design dining table for 4 people with Eiffel Eames chairs bring some light to the living room.
The master bedroom is a two balcony unique space , with a 1.40 cm bed provided with nice and comfortable bed linen. Grey silver wallpaper and white classical reading lamps.

There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen is full equipped with refrigerator / freezer, ceramic hob (stove),microwave and washing machine.Ā

ABOUT THE AREA

Puerta del Sol ( XVIII century) is now Madrid's most popular central square among locals, where main events take place year round (as celebrating New Years Eve).

The heart of the "old city" or what is referred to as Austrian Madrid. Adjacent to the square is the Preciados Shopping District.
Many restaurants, cafƩs and bars nearby and just a short distance away is the Plaza de Santa Ana, where there are many relaxing terraces for outdoor dining.

Gran Via, just 2 minutes up the street, embodies a century of Madrid's history. You will find large cinemas halls, elegant hotels, and lots of grand architecture along this vibrant avenue. Just off Gran Via, Fuencarral street is the trendiestĀ Shopping District.

As the geographic centre of the city, the Puerta del Sol has excellent metro and bus communications, and the Atocha train station is a 20 minute walk or just three metro stops away. There is a fast connection from the airport to Sol. Once there, you won't need public transportation to getting to the apartment, or most attractions.

Based on the fact that the apartment is located in the heart of the city, you can expect a bit of lively noise It is the famous "Madrid alive". But you will also have the benefit of going to principal places and things you "must do" walking.

House Rules

-Standart check in: from 2 to 10pm .This is flexible if there isn't any other check out on the same day. Check in after 10 pm has a fee of 25ā‚¬.
-Standart check out , always before 11.00 am (after : penalty 25ā‚¬).But if you are going to stay longer in the city, you can leave the luggage on the corridor of the 4 apartments
-Please take care of the recently painted walls. They are sensible to jeans and suitcases scratches.
-Strictly no candles or smoke allowed at home.
-You get 3 keys: one for building entrance door downstairs, one for Suites main door and one for the apartment. Lost key replace fee: 50ā‚¬
-Lost remote control TV / AC replace fee: 100ā‚¬
-Please leave the apartment reasonably clean and tidy. Do not leave dirty dishes, don't leave food in the fridge, nor wet towels inside the washer, thanks.
-Be so kind to dispose trash into the gray and orange container placed at the entrance downstairs, from 5 pm. During Agoust month only at the street, calle Montera , after 9 pm.

Location was ideal, close to everything you want to see or do in Seville. Communication with host was excellent.There is a gap around the door, you could feel the wind blowing in, it also made it noisier.We couldn't watch the TV, Even though we switched language settings to English it only worked on one channel.It could use an upgrade to a smart TV.These are small issues which can be remedied easily!Although we didn't use the second level or patio during our stay because of the weather, it is a beautiful space that would be great on sunny days.If you are looking for a nice place centrally located in Seville do not overlook this apartment.

Wow great place and awesome location

This 2 bedrooms, one bathroom apartment is few steps fromPlaza del Sol, on a secured street next to the police department, restaurants around it, the apartment is quite, ac or heater works well, nice hot water, is even 2 doors down from Starbucks The apartment have a washer and a portable electric clothes dry rack, the owner is very responsive, this apartment is a Gem in Madrid!!!

Excellent central apartment, perfect for shopping and site seeing

This was a very good apartment which was perfectly located for our trip. Some extra bedding would have useful as it was incredibly cold but it was unseasonably cold. We would have appreciated a small coffee pod machine but overall we enjoyed our stay there.

Do not stay here! Our trip started off disastrous. When we arrived at our rental, a woman answered the door and stated that she was renting our unit until later that week. We showed her our photo of our rental agreement and the name of the unit. We all tried to get ahold of the owner, and when we did, she kept telling us to calm down. We were very anxious as we planned to stay 10 days and were worried weā€™d have no place to stay. As it turns out, the owner gave us photos and key instructions for a different rental unit. The stay only worsened. For a 9 day stay, we were left with 2 towels (no washcloths), 2 garbage bags, no coffee machine, no oven, no clothes dryer. The cabinets are cheap plywood and donā€™t shut fully. The bathroom smells horrible like sewage constantly and the smells permitted throughout the other rooms. The shower was dirty and unkept. Furniture items are old, dated and worn down (rips in the sofa), and cheap new items. The space between the bed and wall in the bedrooms is so narrow that it requires you to walk sideways to get into bed. There is almost no sunlight in the space -very dark- the pictures posted online must have been taken with spotlights and some of the pictures are not even of the actual unit. Do not stay here.

Perfect location in Madrid

Margaritaā€™s 2 bedroom apartment in Madrid was just perfect! Beautifully decorated and in the best location. We walked to all the main attractions easily and it is surrounded by loads of cafes and restaurants. Margarita was super friendly and gave great local recommendations. The host was terrible!!! Did not clearly communicate with us regarding our booking. VRBO gave us confirmation of payment and the "keys" for our arrival. After receiving our funds the host never communicated with us regarding procedures, which she could have text, email or called me. The host (she) took the money and double booked with another platform. After traveling for 16 hours from the US we arrived in Madrid with no place to stay!!! After ignoring my phone calls, texts and emails, when we arrived at the property, she gave some half nonsense excuses as to why she double booked us. I would not recommend doing business with someone who consciously took our money knowing she had other guests staying at the property at the same time. There should be a law against people like her. Needless to say, she put a real damper on our visit to Spain

Had a great stay here! Everything we wanted to do over the week in Madrid was only a 10-15 minute walk away. We were occasionally woken up by people on the street coming back from the bars late at night/early morning, but maybe thatā€™s on us for not being out with them. The apartment was secure and cozy.

This apartment was very well appointed and itā€™s always great to see air conditioning even if we didnā€™t need it in October. The beds were very comfortable and it was great to have the two bedrooms! The best thing was the location you go right out your front door and you are in the heart of Central old town right next to the Plaza de la Puerta del Sol;. And Plaza Mauir is a few steps past that! Itā€™s always great for a seniors to have an elevator in a European rental! Margarita was very very prompt, helping us and answering questionsā€¦

I came with my sister and our husbands. Marga is a very good communicator; she made sure we have the necessary information to entering the house. Was a little bit confusing but we managed to figure it out (our experience was funny too). The location is great and close to everything and police station is just next door. I wouldnā€™t mind staying there again if thereā€™s a next time.

The Velasquez apartment was perfectly located. Close to metro, bus and most of the major places you would want to visit in Madrid. We came in during a big weekend and were really pleased with the apartment. It's perfect for 2 people, full of light with lots of windows and balconies. Well kept and nicely decorated it became our home away from home. It had A/C which was helpful after the warm days in Madrid. Elevator made getting up and down very easy. We highly recommend this place. Convenient, private and centrally located!

Great Location, Great Apartment!

We spent several nights here and the location is excellent. Being right off Plaza del Sol, it was very easy to find. It also has convenient access to the metro, the train station, and a grocery store. Best of all, you could simply walk to must see sights such as The Prado. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed. As some have mentioned, it can get loud at night, but hey, that's Madrid :) I'm a very light sleeper, but I brought ear plugs and slept just fine. Marga is super sweet. She even stopped by to say hi and shared lots of neat information about the city. We'd definitely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment in great part of Madrid

We had a great time in Madrid. The apartment is steps from metro, restaurants, grocery and shopping. We used the metro daily for our excursions to different parts of Madrid and beyond. The apartment is spacious and has an elevator, so there was no lugging luggage up and down steps. We ate all our meals out so we did not cook in the kitchen. One bedroom was very quiet and the other bedroom was noisy from the street noise, but we were so tired from our excursions that the noise was not an issure. Overall, much, much better than a cramped hotel room for us.

My family of four had the pleasure of staying at Marga's charming apartment very conveniently located a block up from Puerta Del Sol. In a 19th century building, the apartment is very tastefully appointed, light and airy, sparkling clean, comfortable and with all the modern amenities. Marga has an eye for interior design and has created a lovely space in her apartment in which to retreat from the hustle and bustle that is central Madrid. Marga is especially kind and helpful, and we are most grateful to her for her attentiveness to any and all our needs. We had a great stay and look forward to a return visit in the future!

Be Warned

Good luck getting into apt. Need app to enter, apt is on busy street with noise all hours of the night. Bathroom smelled after 1 day...we have since moved on the Sevilla and Barcelona, both places the host greeted us at the apt. I would not stay in this location again

Allowed to enter early and the owner will use this as an excuse BUT as soon as we walked in we knew this apartment is not acceptable. 1. The owner has taken what was a big apartment and split it into 4 units to maximize profit. The place is described as upscale but the posted images are not accurate. The rooms are incredibly small and tucked into two corners. There is a large square column a few inches from the kitchen. The bathroom smelled of mold. Cleanliness has nothing to do with these problems. Of course the owner refused any refund and we left immediately without staying and found another place at a considerable price so you can see how unacceptable it was to us.

Fabulous apartment in the heart of Sol!

We stayed 8 days at the beginning of Oct. we could walk to every thing we wanted to see from this central location. Also the Sol metro stop was a half block away for further afield trips, and easy airport access. We bought our groceries and wine from the store 2 blocks away, or ate out at any number of restaurants or cafes. The owner/manager were easy to deal with, the facilities were spotless. We would have enjoyed slightly larger, more comprehensive kitchen /cooking facilitites but it gave us an excuse to eat out more. Also there was some late night/early morning noise on the weekend, but yes that seems to be true in large vibrant cities such as Madrid. All in all we would totally recommend this lovely apartment!

Simply Perfect

We stayed in Madrid in Velazquez appartment with Madrid Boutique Suites and Marga Casanova. The apartment is exactly like the picture. Beautiful, clean and perfect for our one week vacation in Madrid. Everything worked as it should. Great with washing machine, since we didnā€™t bring much clothes, it was easy that we could wash along the way. The apartment has the best location. Very close to Sol and Sol Metro station. Close to Gran Via Metro. The city center is within walking distance, otherwise the public transport system works very well. If you like us, like some space an apartment is far better to prefer than a hotel room. Although we first came late Dani there to meet us and show us around the apartment. Communication with Marga has been really good from the start, all the necessary information, were given to us immediately right after the booking. Her assistant contacted us 14 days before, we were to arrive, so we got to confirm each other that everything was running as it should. We highly recommend Marga and Madrid Boutique Suites, and we hope we can stay here again next time we come to Madrid. Thomas & Pernille, Copenhagen.
