Magnificent 230° view from the terraces of the Med and the islands (Levant, Port Cros, Bagaud, the tip of Porquerolles, Cap Bénat, Cap Nègre…) from the east to due south and on to the west and the hills of the Massif des Maures. Top (main) level of a 2 storey villa with private entrance in the most sought-after area. A charming home on one floor surrounded by lush vegetation, perfect for lovers of nature, sports, water sports or farniente with a Mediterranean flavour.
3 double bedrooms, sleeps 6 (max). All bedrooms have direct access to outside terraces. One of the bedrooms (with 2 single beds) has a small TV (French terrestrial channels). All beds have mosquito nets. 1 bathroom with bath (and hand shower) + washbasin + bidet + WC; 1 shower room + washbasin & WC. Living area and kitchen with large terraces facing south + west Separate TV viewing space Small heated pool (depth 1m10) for your private use Additional large terraces in wood around and above the pool (west side) Private parking place Private garden 1050m2 (3445 sq. ft) Bowling area (pétanque) for your private use
Air conditioning. Large flat screen TV connected to French digital channels. WiFi. Washing machine. Dishwasher. Oven (electric) and burners (3 gas, 1 electric). Microwave oven. Plancha on terrace. Fridge with freezer drawers. Blender. CD/radio player. iPod player. Nespresso machine. Sparkling water maker. Water filter (without recharges) although drinking water is very high quality in Le Rayol.
VILLAGE: restaurants and market (on Friday mornings) are within walking distance (500m, downhill outbound – uphill inbound). Groceries can be ordered and delivered by the village shop. In the village centre: butcher, chemists, doctor, nurse, physiotherapist, paper & book shop, post office, public notary, 2 restaurants/bars + restaurants at the beach, tourist office Excellent AOC vineyards to visit around the entire region: La Mole valley; La Londe les Maures (Domaine Ott, Chateau de Brégançon, Chateau Léoube (with its beach and restaurant); Pierrefeu; La Croix Valmer (Chateau de Chausse). Not forgetting the AOC olive oil from Domaine du Jasson (La Londe les Maures).
BEACHES are within walking distance (15mins. downhill, a little longer back uphill) Free summer shuttle buses in close proximity to go down to the village and to the beaches Only 35-40 mins drive from Saint-Tropez
TRANSPORT: Taxis (reservations necessary). Bus stop in village (“Zou” network): east to Saint-Tropez via Cavalaire, La Croix-Valmer, Gassin (connection to bus to St. Raphael railway station for onward trips to Nice airport) ; west to Le Lavandou, Bormes-les-Mimosas, La Londe les Maures, Hyères (railway station), Toulon (railway station incl. TGV). Plus buses west direct to Toulon-Hyères airport.
CLEANING: a one-off cleaning fee of 175€ is due for cleaning the property at the end of your stay.
During your stay cleaning is available on request (min. 3 hours) at additional cost. Please reserve prior to your stay. SHEETS & TOWELS can be rented via a professional service. We can order and deliver the packs containing them to you (please specify and request quote in advance of your stay) and take them back for you after your stay at no extra cost.
Please note that I didn't rent between 2019 and now which is why I don't have recent reviews.

An amazing villa with breathtaking views in a great location
The villa was really well equipped and full of character. The views of the Mediterranean from the terrace and pool were stunning. A great place to relax but also well situated to enjoy the restaurants and beaches of Rayol-Canadel

Great place with a marvellous view. Very comfortable and a super quite aircondition in the bedrooms.
Car needed for shopping and going to the beach. Swimmingpool small but very nice for refreshment. We liked the place very much, cosy, well equipped, perfect for 4 adults max or a couple with 3 max older childred. Spectacular view from the big terrace, we loved to sit there with a glas of wine looking at the sunset.

Vue à couper le souffle
Séjour parfait dans une jolie maison fonctionnelle et bien entretenue avec tout l’equipement que l’on peut attendre. Magnifique vue et terrasse très agréable. Joli bassin agréable pour admirer la vue. Maison très bien située. Très Bon accueil avec petite attention de bienvenue ! Je recommande vivement. La climatisation est vraiment un plus.

Un appartement avec une vue exceptionnelle et une petite piscine bien agréable
L’endroit et la vue sont vraiment magnifiques et paisibles. Il y a de très nombreuses plages variées et de petites criques à proximité. Des voisins occupaient le petit appartement du dessous mais étaient charmants et discrets.

Traumhaftes Domizil in schöner Lage mit atemberaubendem Blick!
Wir sind nach langer und eingehender Suche auf dieses Objekt aufmerksam geworden und haben sofort für 2 Wochen gebucht. Die Erwartungen waren hoch und Sie wurden nicht enttäuscht, ganz im Gegenteil, in einigen Punkten sogar übertroffen. Doch der Reihe nach:
Ausgangspunkt: Familie mit zwei Kindern (Mädchen 14 und 15) auf der Suche nach einem Platz, wo man perfekt ausspannen und die Aussicht geniessen kann. (Das klassische Chillen und Grillen). Dieses Haus ist nahezu perfekt: Es liegt erhöht am Hang und der Blick von der sehr großen Terasse ist wirklich einzigartig. Das Meer ist trotzdem gut und fußläufig erreichbar. Aufgeteilt ist das Haus in 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder - eines mit Dusche und eines mit Wanne - und einen großzügigen Wohn-/Küchenbereich. Abgerundet wird das Ganze im Außenbereich durch eine sehr große Terasse, die zum Verweilen einlädt und einen perfekten, kleinen Pool für die Abkühlung zwischendurch.
Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen - es ist alles da. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und die Vorort Betreung durch Marcel und Marianne war erstklassig.
Sollte es einen aus dem Haus treiben, so ist das benachbarte Cavalaire-sur-Mer keine 10 Fahrminuten entfernt. Dort findet man alles was das Herz begehrt - weitere Strände, Einkaufs- und Wassersportmöglichkeiten. Für den Frühstücks- und Grillbedarf reichte uns aber der kurze Spaziergang zu Bäcker und Metzger im Ort, wo man bei Bedarf auch eine Apotheke und einen Arzt findet.
Alles in allem - ein rundes Angebot für einen erholsamen Urlaub in einem wirklichen Juwel von einem Haus....
Okay - einen Wehrmutstropfen will ich nicht verschweigen. Unter dem Haus gibt es eine "Einliegerwohnung", die aber nur selten genutzt wird - womit aber die Möglichkeit besteht, dass man nicht ganz allein auf dem sehr schönen Hanganwesen ist. Uns hat es nicht gestört.
Ich spreche hiermit eine ganz klare Empfehlung aus und da das Objekt erst kurz in der Vermietung ist, ist es zurzeit auch noch ein echter Geheimtip.

Le Rayol-Canadel is a discrete village in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez which situated on the corniches overlooking the Med and the Iles d'Or and where the forest of the Massif des Maures runs right down to the sea. It's a beautiful, well-conserved area with no high rises. Visitors in summer are predominantly the children, grandchildren and friends of second residents who themselves have been coming to Le Rayol-Canadel since they were young, all of which gives the village a pleasant atmosphere whilst being only a short drive from Saint-Tropez.
