It is 1.5 km to the center of Denia and 1.2 km to the nearest beach. The first shops, a LIDL market and a large consumer supermarket are 1 km away. A bar is located 200m from the house. Breakfast is also served there and in summer you can buy fresh bread and pastries in the morning and have a drink and tapas on the terrace until evening. There is also a beautiful restaurant with a sun terrace 300m from the house

Very nice house in quiet surrounding

Very nice and relaxed stay. The house is a bit at the edge of denia on the Montgo. But everything is within 15 minutes drive and denia is very much alive with beautiful beaches. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and worth the price.

Our family stayed for two weeks and had an amazing time. The villa was fantastic — spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and with an excellent air conditioning system. The pool was perfect, and we enjoyed using the BBQ most evenings. The property is secured by electric gates, giving extra peace of mind, and the location is wonderfully quiet with complete privacy. It’s close to all amenities and within walking distance of a couple of local restaurants. We hired a car and found plenty to see and do in both Denia and Javea.

Villa location is good in our opinion being just a 5 minute drive to Denia centre. Villa was clean and tidy. Host and onsite contact were excellent and always on hand to resolve any problems. We would definately consider returning in the future. The following are not negative views but just what we think could be improved to help our stay:The bath towels are on the small sideNot enough working sunbeds for the villa allocation of up to 6 people. We found two in full working order and two broken and not really useable but we made do with the two good beds.One parasol had a bend in the pole and didnt really hold well in the base on a windy day so we only used the one that was ok.Bed pillows are thin and flat and could do with being replaced.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen für eine Woche in dieser großzügigen, schön gelegenen und gut gepflegten Wohnung. Die Übergabe lief jeweils unkompliziert, die Schlüssel wurden persönlich übergeben. Hervorzuheben sind die fast überkomplette Ausstattung der Küche, die zwei großen Bäder, die zwei Terrassen, der saubere Pool und die freundliche Kommunikation. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Buena estancia

La zona de la piscina es estupenda y muy agradable. Las vistas muy bonitas desde la terraza superior. La casa está algo anticuada pero todo muy limpio y con todo el menaje necesario. Zona muy tranquila, se necesita coche para llegar al centro pero son 5 min y hay varios parkings. Wifi de pago. La entrega de llaves fue complicada ya que la persona encargada no hablaba ni español ni inglés, pero fue muy amable.

La vivienda recuerda a las de los años 80/90. Los suelos llenos de alfombras en pleno agosto, no apto para alérgicos a ácaros o polvo y no hay internet como indicaban en el anuncio. Está bien para unos días, la cocina muy completa.

Oui, il est exact que le coût de la caution sera déduit conformément au contrat. Les relevés des compteurs sont lus avec la gestion immobilière. Les baux sont uniformément écrits en anglais. Par conséquent, je ne peux pas comprendre vos objections.

Ein schöner Urlaub!

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr solide gebaut und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Die Küche ist prima ausgestattet und Besteck, Geschirr und Gläser sind in wahrlich ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Der Pool war für uns eine Oase der Entspannung. Auf der oben gelegenen Terrasse haben wir so manchen schönen Abend verbracht und die Aussicht genossen. Der Grill liegt geschützt, was bei dem teilweise sehr starken Wind, sehr vorteilhaft war. Die ganze Anlage, mit zusätzlichem Gemeinschaftspool ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Nähe zur Stadt und den Supermärkten ist einfach genial. Kleinigkeiten: Da wir zunächst sehr alte und dünn gewaschene Hand- und Duschtücher bekamen, wendeten wir uns an die Verwalterin des Hauses, Frau König. Bei ihr sind tatsächlich die Kunden König und umgehend wurden diese von ihr ausgetauscht. Auch eine kleinere Reparatur im Bad wurde sofort veranlasst. Es wäre schön, wenn die Mückennetze mal erneuert würden. Diese fehlten manchmal ganz oder klebten nur noch teilweise in den Fenstern.

Beautiful villa with private pool (with €230added to the rent)

The villa overlooking Montgo, with its private pool, and not far from the beach met our expectations. The villa is very nice at a very nice location. We did not even use the (other) common pool. All in all, you should expect that about €200-€250 will come in addition to the rent (if you take towels), for one week that is. The welcoming and check out was very nice thanks to Rosa Konig, the care taker. The surprise came afterwards when we were presented by the owner with a bill for energy and water. It appeared that in one week we had consumed more than 7,500 litres of water and 420 kWh. Very strange indeed, we are a family of 5 and 1,500 liter per week per person seems rather high. Maybe the poolboy used water to replenish the pool..... We only used the airco during the nights and switched it off during the day. Initially we were presented with a bill (€189) that I found rather high. On checking the rental agreement I found that a certain threshold of electricity and water was included in the rent. After reclamation this was corrected, so we paid about €150 in addition. So always read the small ''small print''.

Thank you for your rating. The water consumption is only 10% of the total cost. The villa has a very comfortable air conditioning, but also consumes a lot of electricity. If the air conditioning is running for 12 hours, the electricity costs are about 15 euros. Please always take these costs into account.

Ferienhaus am Montgo Denia

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und ist mit allem nötigen ausgestattet für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Ideal um das Naturschutzgebiet des Montgo zu Fuss zu erkunden. Das private Pool gibt den perfekten Rahmen für das Barbecue, wo man bis spät am Abend die Sonne geniessen kann.

Großzügiges Haus mit schönem Ausblick

Den Aufenthalt in der ruhigen Wohnanlage am Berg Montgo haben wir sehr genossen. Im Januar kommt die Sonne allerdings erst mittags über den Berg und ist um 16 Uhr wieder weg. Das mag im Sommer angenehm sein.

Vielen Dank für die Bewertung. Sie haben Recht, der Sonnenstand im Januar ist niedriger als im Sommer. Im Sommer steht die Sonne allerdings so hoch, dass man Schatten meist nur durch den Sonnenschirm oder unter unseren Palmen erhält.

Beeindruckendes Domizil

Wir haben mit vier Personen eine Woche in dieser herrlichen Villa verbracht. Die Ausstattung ist excellent. Reichlich Platz (auch für 6 Personen). Herrlicher Ausblick von der Terrasse. Sehr guter Service über die Hausverwaltung - mit Abholung selbst zu später Stunde (22:30 Uhr). Die Villa liegt in der Anlage La Medina, die sehr schön gepflegt ist und in ruhiger Lage oberhalb von Denia ist. Ein Auto ist erforderlich, um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ausflüge in die Umgebung bestens geeignet. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

An enjoyable stay in a spacious villa

We were warmly greeted by Rosa, who was very kind and helpful to us. We really appreciated how helpful she was when we arrived and when we were leaving. The villa was spotlessly clean and had a good range of facilities for our 4-night stay. We didn't think the swimming pool would be warm enough to use in November - and we were right! We did enjoy some sunshine sitting around it with our breakfast though. We also enjoyed an evening drink on the terrace, with lovely views of the sunset. We knew that the villa was out of town and would be a 30-40 minute walk into the town centre. However, it's not a great route for walking because there aren't pavements in some parts, and some of it is not lit in the dark. We were fine, but it's worth bearing in mind. We love the town of Denia, which is a diverse community that still feels really Spanish. There are some lovely walks in the area.

Like a Paradise

It is a fantastic house, very well furnished. We loved the property! There are many terraces, with the swimming pool as absolute center of the spot. This home has everything you need. It was just wonderful and we had a fantastic stay there. It is really close to the center of Denia and also the nearest beach is within walking distance. Very close (but you have to take the car) there are 2 large supermarkets, Lidl and Consum. There is also for breakfast, breakfast fresh pastries, also on Sundays. Even, with sometimes very strong wind, you could sit at the house very protected. What we also liked very much, that no one from the outside can look at the terrace. So you are totally to yourself! But also the communal pool, which is only a few meters from the house, was a highlight for our children. Everything is very well maintained and in a very good condition. With the house owner Mr. Eckardt we had by mail a very good contact. Everything went smoothly! It was very convincing, harmoniously and peaceful. We can only recommend this house. Thank you for this holidays.

Sehr gut in einer ruhige villa anlage.

Wir haben viel spass gehabt in diese sehr schone wonhnung met viel comfort. Alles sehr schon und sauber. Gemuttliche empfang durch frau Rosa Konig. Schones Aussicht vom Dachterrasse auf das Meer und Denia .

Toller Urlaub in Denia!

Anfang September verbrachten wir, 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder, in diesem wunderschönen Haus in Denia unseren Sommerurlaub. Das Haus ist wirklich toll, sehr gute Einrichtung und alles top sauber! Am schönsten ist der Pool und die Terrasse drum herum. Da das Wetter traumhaft war, haben wir eigentlich den ganzen Urlaub draußen verbracht. Auch bei manchmal sehr starkem Wind konnte man am Haus sehr geschützt sitzen und was uns auch sehr gefallen hat ist, dass niemand von außen auf die Terrasse schauen kann. Man ist also total für sich! Aber auch der Gemeinschaftspool, der nur ein paar Meter vom Haus entfernt ist, war ein Highlight für unsere Kinder. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Ganz in der Nähe (man muss aber schon das Auto nehmen) gibt es 2 große Supermärkte, Lidl und Consum. Da gibt es auch für`s Frühstück frische Backwaren, auch Sonntags. Denia an sich ist ein sehr schöner Ort, mit toller Altstadt, schönen Geschäften und vorallem wundervollen Sandstränden - ideal auch für kleinere Kinder, angenehm warmes Meerwasser und flach abfallender Einstieg ins Meer. In Denia hat uns damals die Hausverwalterin Frau König in Empfang genommen und uns zum Ferienhaus geleitet. Frau König ist sehr nett, kann perfekt deutsch und hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben. Danke nochmal... Auch mit dem Hausbesitzer Herrn Eckardt hatten wir per Mail einen sehr guten Kontakt. Alles verlief reibungslos!!! Wir hatten einen wirklich sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub! Das Haus können wir auf jeden Fall jedem weiterempfehlen. Kleiner Restaurant-Tipp: Landestypisch Paella essen kann man sehr gut und mit wunderschönem Panorama in Denia im Restaurant "Mena", wunderschöne Terrasse mit Meerblick, man sitzt quasi über dem Meer! Und ein weiteres Highlight war im Nachbarort Javea das Restaurant "Bacchus". Hier kann man Gegrilltes vom heißen Stein essen. Sehr, sehr lecker und tolle Atmosphäre.

Vielen Dank für die gute Bewertung. Ich freue mich, dass es Ihnen so gut gefallen hat. Genauso wie Sie es beschreiben geht es uns, wenn wir in Spanien "zu Hause" angekommen sind. Ich würde mich freuen, Sie bald wieder in Denia begrüßen zu können.

Ein Platz, um sich hervorragend zu erholen

Wir (zwei Erwachsene) haben 3 wundervolle Wochen in dieser traumhaften Villa verbracht. Die Villa mit schönem, großen und sauberen Pool befindet sich in tadellosem Zustand. Der Blick vom Balkon ist einfach umwerfend. Man hat einen einzigartigen Blick zum Montgo und bis zum Meer. Die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit sind hervorragend. Die Lage der Villa in Santa Lucia ist ebenfalls optimal, super Strände sowie alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten Lidl, Eroski. sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sogar Aldi ist in ein paar Autominuten erreichbar. Hier bleibt kein Wunsch offen: Tapas-Bars, Shopping-Möglichkeiten, lange Spaziergänge an der Strandpromenade - es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, sich auch im "Winter" (wir hatten keinen Regentag und viel Sonne) die Zeit zu vertreiben. Besonders hat uns gefallen, den Tag mit einem Café und tostada in einer sonnigen Bar in Fußnähe zu genießen. Wir kommen sicher wieder und empfehlen diese wunderschöne Unterkunft gern weiter. Von Rosa fühlten wir uns zu jeder Zeit sehr gut und sehr freundlich betreut.

The Best we´ve ever booked.

A beautiful villa furnished with style and taste. The garden and the pools area were a particular delight with lovely views of the mountain. We have stayed in many villas but Casa La Medina is the best we´ve ever booked. Ideally situated near by the beach and the centre of Denia with bars and restaurants. There are many places of interest to visit. The Property Management was most helpful and professional in all situations . We´ll come back soon!

Großes Ferienhaus mit Schönheitsfehlern

Positiv: - großes Haus mit viel Platz - sauberer Pool mit schöner Gartenanlage - herrlicher Blick auf Berge und zum Meer - guter WLAN-Empfang - relativ gut ausgestattete Küche Negativ: - Sehr schlechte Erreichbarkeit bei Anreise im Dunkeln ohne Ortskenntnis. Angegebene Straße war weder im Navi (Nokia Here) noch in Goolge Maps bekannt. Am besten wären GPS-Koordinaten. - Bei Anreise war nur Bettwäsche und Handtücher für 4 Personen vorhanden. Gebucht waren 5 Personen. Kann passieren. Die vorhandene Bettwäsche und die Handtücher waren scheinbar schon seit etlichen Jahren (>10) in Benutzung und so sauber, wie sie bei Lagerung in der Garage sein können ... Das Kopfkissen nach mehreren Jahren Benutzung nicht mehr fleckenlos sind, wissen wir alle. Aber wenn der Gast als Erstes auf seinem "Urlaubsbett" so ein total fleckiges Teil unbezogen vorfindet, ist das unschön bis ekelig. Alle paar Jahre neue Kissen, Bettzeug und Handtücher sollten möglich sein. - Insgesamt machte das Haus den Eindruck, das ein großer "Reparaturstau" besteht. Alles keine großen Sachen, aber in der Summe unschön. - Zugang zur Sauna durch einen total verrümpelten Kellerbereich. - Warmwasserversorgung durch Gasflaschen. Also beim duschen immer damit rechnen, daß das warme Wasser alle ist.

Wir bedauern sehr, dass Sie nicht hundertprozentig zufrieden waren und möchten im Folgenden auf einige Punkte Ihrer Bewertung eingehen: Erreichbarkeit: Die Adresse unseres Mietobjektes ist in jedem modernen Navi und auch in Google direkt auffindbar. Nach der Buchung bekommt jeder Gast zusätzlich die Zugangsdaten zu unserer App, über die man sich u.a. direkt zum Haus navigieren lassen kann. Zusätzlich bieten wir unseren Gästen den kostenlosen Service an, sich am Tag der Ankunft mit unserer Hausverwaltung zu treffen um zum Haus begleitet zu werden. Bislang hat das ohne besondere Mühen geklappt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher: Die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher werden von der Hausverwaltung gestellt, gewaschen und bei Bedarf/auf Bestellung ausgetauscht. Falls ein Gast mit dem zur Verfügung gestellten Wäschepaketes nicht 100% zufrieden ist, hat er die Möglichkeit dieses bei der Hausverwaltung zu reklamieren. Kellerbereich: Im Kellerbereich befindet sich die Therme für die Warmwasseraufbereitung. Zum Zeitpunkt Ihres Aufenthaltes wurde die komplette Warmwasseranlage gegen eine neue ausgetauscht. Um Ihren Ferienaufenthalt nicht unnötig durch Lärm und zusätzliche Arbeiter zu stören, wurde die Altanlage erst nach Ihrer Abreise entsorgt und verblieb bis dahin unschön im Keller. Auch hier hätte ein Hinweis genügt und unsere Hausverwaltung hätte sich unverzüglich - auch während Ihres Ferienaufenthaltes - um einen Abtransport gekümmert. In Spanien wird Warmwasser in fast allen Häusern die nicht mit Strom heizen, mit Gasflaschen aufbereitet. In unserem Ferienhaus sind sogar 2 Flaschen parallel im Einsatz. Vor jeder Ankunft von neuen Gästen werden die Gasflaschen durch unsere Hausverwaltung auf ihren Inhalt geprüft und wenn nötig, ersetzt. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass diese beiden Flaschen gleichzeitig leer sind, und man daher kalt duschen muss, tendiert statistisch gesehen gegen Null. Ich möchte an dieser Stelle nochmals darauf hinweisen, dass unser oberstes Ziel die Zufriedenheit unserer Gäste ist. Doch wie überall, wo Menschen im Einsatz sind, können auch wir nicht ausschließen, dass Fehler gemacht werden. Allerdings können wir diese nur abstellen, wenn der Gast uns über Mängel informiert.
